Elodie was our photographer for our wedding, and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone in the Yorkshire area looking for a wedding or event photographer.

We first discovered Elodie through her online portfolio and were immediately drawn to her style. After reaching out, she arranged an initial call, and from the very beginning she was friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. Following that first conversation, we shared some ideas for locations and key moments, and she helped us map out the day from start to finish. We then had two further calls to finalise everything before the big day, which really put us at ease.

On the morning of the wedding, Elodie made the effort to arrive early and introduce herself to the Bride. Then the groom met Elodie and was impressed to find she had already scouted the area and identified the best spots for photos in line with the detailed pre-agreed plan. Throughout the day, she made small adjustments based on lighting and conditions - always with confidence and flexibility, which we really appreciated.

During the ceremony, Elodie captured incredible moments without ever being intrusive. We look back at some of the photos and didn't even realise at the time she was stood behind us to take the shot – she definitely picked the perfect locations.

The large group photo was probably the most challenging part of the day, as it was taken away from the venue, in a public area and required careful coordination of ~70 guests. Elodie handled it effortlessly, taking charge in a calm and professional way. She even managed to politely redirect curious bystanders so the shot could be perfect.

For the couples photoshoot, both the bride and groom were a little nervous, having never done anything like that before. Elodie made the entire experience relaxed, enjoyable, and completely natural. What could have felt awkward ended up being one of our favourite parts of the day.

And then there are the photos themselves. Elodie sent us a sneak peek just a few days after the wedding, and we were blown away. The images are stunning—beautifully composed, full of emotion, and capturing so many unique moments. Her style truly shines through.

All in all, we loved working with Elodie and would happily ask her to photograph future events for us. She played such an important role in our day, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

When picking a wedding photographer, we knew we wanted someone who could capture the day without constantly taking us away for photos. We wanted to have some nice professional ones but the majority we wanted to be candid. We chose Elodie based on her portfolio and we're so happy.

Elodie took the time to have phone calls with us, meet us in person before the wedding to really understand what we wanted. We got married in the Malmaison and there isn't a great deal of natural light. This didn't stop Elodie from taking some amazing pictures during the ceremony. She took the time to scout areas we could have photos after the ceremony and managed to co-ordinate a big group photo.

I would 100% recommend Elodie, she's amazing at what she does and made us feel so comfortable on the day.
