In full - My wedding photography style is natural and candid, with a creative flair. For me, weddings should be captured, not staged! I work as naturally as possible capturing all the key moments as well as all the moments you may have missed or forgotten about. I love to spend some time focusing on the smaller details of the day - the rings, shoes, flowers, decorations, keepsakes etc. And I also love to get creative if you want something a little different.
Every wedding is different. I have lots of experience & I’m confident at fitting in to all situations. When I need to, I blend in like you wouldn’t even know I was there. Other times if I need to organise group photos or a confetti line I’m happy to do so. I’m not there to take over the day. I’m there to help you enjoy it and to capture it for you.
Full day wedding photography starts from £995. This covers the full day from 3 hours before the ceremony starts till 15/20 minutes after the first dance. There are no hidden charges or extra hours costs. Printed album packages also available.
Fully insured and with all my own photography equipment. I work with two cameras all day and have a third in my bag as back up so you know your wedding photos are in safe hands. I even back up the first half of the day while you are having your meal.
A £250 booking deposit secures your wedding date in the diary. The rest is not due until your wedding day.
I offer a FREE optional pre-wedding photoshoot with all full-day bookings. If you choose to take this offer, it is a great chance to get to know me as your photographer, share any ideas and also have a final run through the day.

Depends. If there is something I want to capture ie. sparklers, fireworks etc I will often stay a little longer for free. I don't want to miss special moments

Bank transfers. £250 booking deposit secures the date. The rest not due until your wedding day. I am happy for you to spread the costs and pay instalments
How do you work?
Very hard. I make sure I am where I need to be. I have a lot of experience and knowledge of weddings.

By far the best choice we made!
We searched high and low for a photographer for our August 2023 wedding. No one came close to Neil. His reviews were amazing, he came highly recommended by a colleague, and once I got in touch his service was out of this world! We met for the first time for our pre-wedding photo shoot. I grew up in front of the camera, but my now-husband was very nervous and uncomfortable. Neil talked us through each pose, showed us a few photos as we went along, and made us laugh naturally! He was incredibly understanding of our 3 year old, who didn't want to cooperate, and still managed to snap a few lovely photos of all of us. The wedding soon came around, Neil was prompt in arriving to the venue and again, made all my bridesmaids comfortable as he snapped photos of us getting ready. He managed to capture beautiful moments throughout our day, and all of our guests who spoke to Neil, informed me of how lovely and friendly he was. He even went the extra mile and edited a select few photos whilst he ate dinner! Neil listened to what I wanted regarding group photos, even got the guests involved with a few cheeky photos that I had no idea about until we received the full package back weeks later. When we received our USB, Neil had produced a lovely keep sake box, with a personalised USB inside. Our photos are gorgeous, and so easy to flip through to view. Family and friends were able to download easily, and we will have our favourites hanging up in our new home. Thank you Neil, for making the happiest day of our lives even that much more special by capturing every moment! Would highly recommend Wedding Photography by Neil Baxter to anyone.

Exemplary from start to finish.
Neil was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Everything was well communicated in good time.
We had a meeting at the venue ahead of time , an historic castle with challenging lighting, and also a pre-wedding photo shoot at the same time.
On the day Neil made sure we got all the wedding shots we wanted, plus more. All provided in digital and also fair priced print albums. There were several packages to choose from.
I am delighted at the outcome of the photos, and they perfectly captured our special day. Everyone that sees our wedding album comments on the stunning photography and quality of the printed albums provided with the package.
Neil's work has been impressive enough for us to book both my sisters weddings with him too, a family birthday photoshoot and we have also used Neil for some commercial work too.

Incredible Photographer
Neil is an absolutely incredible photographer! He is such a genuinely nice guy to get along with and makes you feel so at ease in front of the camera! My husband and I are not photogenic at all but my god did Neil capture some incredible moments! I seriously cannot thank you enough! We will treasure these memories forever!

Fantastic Photographer
Neil is an amazing photographer. Great communication before and after the big day, a fantastic range of packages to choose from depending on your requirements. Very discreet throughout the day and gives some great advice where needed. Definitely the right man for the job, very calm, cool and collected which is exactly who you need around! The photos were amazing, some great natural shots as well as the usual family photos all on a USB which is fab. Highly recommend to anyone, I just wish I could do it all again! He even managed to get our wedding to feature in a magazine which is very exciting!

Amazing Photographer and person!
We booked Neil for our wedding in 2022 and I couldn't recommend him enough!
To start with he is such a friendly and easy going personality and if your like me I was very nervous to be infront of the camera but Neil made me feel so at ease. He's also very good with children and my 4 and 2 year old at the time loved him. Second, he is the most imaginative photographer and has such an incredible vision. I'm not joking when I say he got us to stand on a random spot just outside the front of our venue and worked true magic. He saw an opportunity of the sun bursting through the trees behind us and snapped my absolute favourite photo from the wedding. Neil was so attentive the whole day and did not miss a single moment on the day.
He is also so affordable in the photography market and is very quick at getting photos back to you.
Can't recommend him enough!

Above & beyond - The go to photographer
For such a daunting task of being photographed Neil helped me, ben & our family feel so at ease. Giving such a personal touch with just talking to us and asking us if there was any poses/ideas we want in particular we said no just do your thing!
Neil was great at making us laugh and being polite instructing us on how to pose (as well as having patience) Our memories have been captured to such high standards! Neil you are so talented with such a creative vision you have helped us capture amazing images for our wedding and they have turned out timeless.
