Where to begin? Louise is magnificent as a person, and as a photographer. What more do you want? We live up in Newcastle so hiring a photographer from Dorset wasn't the original plan, and family asked us why hadn't we picked somebody local as if we were doing something alient and outrageous.. and the answer is because we found Louise. Me and my fiancé (now husband, obvs!) both aren't huge fans of posed wedding photos, we wanted somebody who was a beautiful photographer with an eye for catching the spontaneous moments of joy, the funny parts, the bad parts (they happened - cue makeup on my wedding dress 👀(Louise was also a good support in this situation getting onto Facebook groups asking for advice, calming me down, and in the end we settled on tying an orange bouquet ribbon around my dress hahaha), the joyful parts, all of it. I spent literal weeks, maybe even months trying to find a photographer who's style we could imagine our wedding being in, who sounded like somebody nice to have around on our special day, and practically within our budget (boring). We had a few online chats about what we wanted, talked about what would work best in terms of how many hours we'd need, transport to Newcastle etc, and I sent her a tonne of Pintererst pins of photos I'd found that I liked the style of (which to be honest I didn't need to do because she already has the eye and the talent) but I found it personally reassuring knowing that she knew I'd love a few set agreed photos like a photo of me down the aisle, mega confetti shots, and a few group shots. Speaking of which, Louise has skills you didn't know you needed in a photographer such as her knowledge on what type of confetti falls and photographs the best and how much youd need to buy for the mega fun shots I was after. Louise's other photography focus as a family/child photographer also caught our eye as we knew we'd have lots of kids at our wedding and loved the funny photos she gets of them! She fit right in with us on the day, including even wearing an epic hippy dress for our outdoor hippie wedding. She also has been amazing at sending me all the download links, album and print details, all that kinda stuff afterwards. (Also, like me, she's a vegan too (bonus) so please feed her at your wedding haha! ). Also, this woman works hard - we had two days of our wedding (a legal day and a full wedding party day) and she was non stop over those two days. She even managed to send us a few photos from the day the night of which was a lovely bonus. I'd also like to say that we agreed a package that came with a complimentary pre wedding shoot, and with my husband's family living down south we combined it into a trip, and visited Louise in Dorset for a fun garden photoshoot. I really loved this, and I would recommend doing it as it meant we got time to know Louise, how she works, and see how the photos turned out (seeing how fab they were gave me lots of confidence that our wedding photos would be amazing - they are!). Long story short - 10/10 human, 10/10 photographer, and have already agreed with the husband if we ever renew our vows or have children Louise will be the photographer 🩷 My only negative point is that she lives down in Dorset and so I can't meet up and have tea with her on the regular as she's a right laugh (she was once a party planner for Ann Summers, which honestly when she told us that, I was SOLD on booking her) xxx (price wise we went with prewedding shoot, 1 + 1/2 days shooting, second shooter, and transport and hotel)

We had so much fun with Louise. She was unobtrusive yet felt like the perfect addition to our guest list. We are really looking forward to seeing our pictures!

We had an engagement shoot with Louise last week and it was above and beyond what we had expected. She was friendly, fun and put us at ease straight away. We had so many laughs and came away feeling elated and much more confident in front of the camera. We had the photos back within 2 days and absolutely love them. We were a little nervous before the session, but you can see in the photos how much fun we had and how Louise effortlessly got us to relax! When I saw the photos that Louise had taken I knew that she'd be great to work with, we both aren't ones for having our photos taken all posed for ages so having a more relaxed photographer taking candid photos was just what we needed. Louise was there for those moments that really meant a lot, she even hugged me when I was upset due to my mum not being at the ceremony after her passing. Can't recommend her enough and can't wait to see our photos.

Louise was fantastic! She arranged a call with us to meet us and see what kind of vibe we wanted and what ideas we had. On the wedding day she was there on time and took hundreds of pictures capturing the emotions of the day. Will always recommend her!

Louise was just the best wedding photographer we could ask for, and it was clear even right from our very first chat with her - she's super open, laid-back, very easy to get on with and very, very good at her job.

Her style is exactly what we were looking for (candid, bright and fun), any prep was incredibly clear and easy to submit (she has an online portal for everything so it's very organised), and she was an absolute master on the day. Zero stress, and very, very little waiting around. I have no idea how she moves as quick as she does, and still gets such stunning photos!

Louise is FANTASTIC! Before, during and after she has been everything we could want from a photographer at our wedding. She made us feel at ease at our engagement shoot and continued to do so on our wedding day. If you want bright, natural and joyful photos, Louise is the one for you! My husband was hesitant about needing a photographer at first, but soon changed his mind after meeting Louise and agreed that this was something we could not go without. We will cherish these photos for years to come, thank you Louise!

Oh my goodness I feel so lucky we stumbled upon Louise at a wedding fair! We really wanted a photographer that would capture our day without changing the true colours (as many we had found use really dark filters) but we found even more than that in Louise. Not only did she capture the true likeness of our day but she captured the emotion, the moments, the feeling and when we look back at the photos we remember exactly how we felt in that moment.

On top of all of that she is so lovely! All our guests loved her even my cheeky grandad, who she impressed by knowing his name straight away! We had so many comments on how lovely she was :) It felt like having another friend with us which is so important when someone is capturing moments with you and your partner.

Louise also went above and beyond by looking at my instagram and editing the photos in a style she knew I loved. We are so so happy with the photos, Louise I cannot thank you enough!

Also if anyone is wondering whether to have an engagement shoot... DO IT. You get to learn little games and tricks which then you can quickly do on the wedding day, plus you get some gorgeous photos which we used on our wedding website.

Louise was an absolute dream to work with. We came across Louise just by chance, I was visiting our wedding venue and Louise was there photographing another wedding, we looked over and saw her lying on the floor to get the couple their perfect shot! And from that we could just tell how commitments she was to her couples. I grabbed her details and got in touch to book. We took advantage of the pre wedding shoot and I'm so glad we did, it was so lovely to have a trial run before the wedding and we felt so at ease with Louise's bubbly personality. Honestly couldn't recommend Louise more as a wedding photographer. Our photos are full of such colour, laughter and warmth and really capture the essence of our day! I get butterflies every time I look at them because I get transported right back to our wedding. Louise and her team were so friendly and fun, we had a blast with them and trusted them completely. You won't regret them as your choice!

Louise is such an amazing person with incredible taste in pop culture.

Anyways, if you have gotten to this review and still haven’t hired her, you’re making a big mistake, huge.

We met the lovely Louise at a wedding fair, she was so kind and welcoming. we knew we want her style of photography at our wedding. relax, candid with a few of the posed photos. That was in 2020, so it was a bit traumatic having our wedding cancel 2 weeks before the day, Louise was great, understanding and stayed in touch until finally we got married April 2022 - she was lovely and got some amazing photos. we cant thank her enough, even after the event she is still helping me choosing and printing the best photos. We highly recommend Louise, and her style.

My now husband and I are not really keen on photos, so the candid approach was the way to go. We wanted someone fun and different, and that's exactly what we got. There were a few situations were we couldn't have photos where originally planned, but with quick thinking somewhere new was found, and the stress wasn't put on me to do it. Which I really appreciated. Everything felt very calm, natural and relaxed. I cant wait to see the photos. Thank you!

Louise was amazing from our initial conversation through to our big day. She's been really responsive to our emails and the questionnaires we were sent initially really helped us think about things we hadn't necessarily considered before! Louise and Sam managed to snapshot our day perfectly without us really realising they were there. The photos that were taken were very natural and really captured the relaxed atmosphere of the day. Ultimately the photos that they took turned out amazingly well and we couldn't be happier with the service that we receieved. We would absolutely recommend Louise 10/10!
