I'm Jan, a wedding photographer based in Liverpool.
Having been in the industry now for over 18 years, I have recently moved back to my hometown of Liverpool after living in the South West for several years.
Over the years I've been a Licentiate of the Master Photographers Association, the BIPP and the Guild of Photographers - and for the last two years I've won the Hitched Wedding Award too.

I like to think my style is relaxed and documentary - I strive to catch those photos that you don't know I'm taking, and to be your 'eyes' for the day so you can look back and remember those special moments - and also see the moments you might have missed.
My packages cover every situation from the Micro Wedding (up to 2 hours covering just the ceremony and photos of you both and your families after) to Full Day starting with preparations right up to your First Dance - with shorter packages in between.
I can accomodate most couples requirements though so if you look at the packages on my website and think "Hmmm... we need something slightly different" - just ask me ! We can work on a bespoke package just for you.

All packages incude all your wedding proofs at high resolution; an online password protected gallery to share with family & friends and a 3-4 minute slideshow of the highlights of your day
How far in advance should I contact you?
Most couples book 18m to 2 years in advance of their wedding date but I am open to deals for last minute weddings if I have availability

Fabulous photographer
Janet done our wedding on the 5th April 2025. She was amazing from the first conversation we had with her. She put us at ease straight away and was so helpful with what we wanted. On the day she arrived early and helped hide me from our guests as direct them into the venue as the wedding in front of us was running behind. She made everyone feel at ease and spoke to everyone as if they were all important as well. The pictures speak volumes they are amazing. And that all down to her amazing talent and personality. Janet you will always have a special place in our hearts and we thank you from the bottom of them. You truly are a very special lady with a massive heart ❤️.

Amazing lady, and exceptional photos.
Janet came highly recommended to me by an old school friend. And boy was I NOT disappointed. Friendly, funny, down to earth, got the photos to the last very detail you could think off. Janet blended in well on the day, forgot she was there at times, the photos were of exceptional standard, she captured everything about the day, the photos were natural, beautiful, definitely recommend the black and white, I would definitely recommend Janet, she is so lovely and is very professional and really knows her photography. Het booking. You will not be disappointed. The before during and after care meetings were so good and fun. Janet Really listened to what you want and made sure you were happy with the results. Would absolutely recommend
Jan photographed our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with the photos! We wanted more documentary style along with some posed and the photos didn’t disappoint. Jan was really approached from the start, always quick to get back with any info and advice. Communication was top tier. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to photograph our wedding!

Absolutely amazing
Jan was fantastic an absolute lovely lady, so professional however made us all feel so very comfortable, didn’t even realise she was there half the time. Couldn’t be happier!
It didn’t take more than a second to know that Jan was the photographer for us, just look at her work on her website! We, of course, had the obligatory posed photos to appease the Mum’s, but Jan’s skill lies in the documentary style that we wanted for our later in life casual wedding. She has honestly captured personalities and treasured moments that would never have come across with a more traditional approach. She worked like a little worker bee to produce pictures that captured the look and feel we were going for. Filter out the ones with the extra chins and me looking like I’m chewing a toffee, and this woman has made us and our guests look beautiful. She’s really nice, too! Thanks, Jan. You were a star 😄x
