I'm in my 50s and a very experienced full-time professional photographer; over the past four years, I have offered professional photography to clients with high-grade professional equipment. Before this, I worked for various companies across a wide variety of photography genres, but these days, I prefer to work for myself.

How far in advance should I contact you?
As soon as you have your venue booked, due to my very reasonable prices at the quality I offer I'm often booked out a year in advance, currently only taking bookings for next year onwards

I'm just a down to earth person who enjoys capturing moments, I'm always looking for an artistic photo but I always prioritise the important captures which is essential for weddings
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use three high grade Canon R5 camera bodies and have the full range of luxury lenses, my favourite is the 85mm 1.2 which gives really beautiful results.
I also use a Leica Q2 mono for B&W shots
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, i host the albums privately on my website which are password protected for each client

Stunning photos
When we booked Jason we had seen some of his work at the same venue to was going to be getting married at and was wowed by it Jason kept in touch right up untill the wedding making sure he was going to be capturing everything that we wanted. Then on the day he was amazing making sure he captured the most incredible photos getting the perfect lighting and backdrops he took photos of things I’d never have even thought of taking them of 4 days later and he tells me the album is ready to view and oh wow the there stunning the most perfect photos were taking we got a mixture of coloured and black and white and there was not a single photo that we didn’t like we shared the link with guests and they were all blown away from how good they are to thank you for capturing our special day

Not only a nice guy but a brilliant photographer!
Before the wedding, the communication was great. We spoke and he went through the whole wedding process which was nice as it showed me what to expect
Then the wedding, felt at ease straight away. So laid back and comfortable in the morning.
I say laid back but after seeing the final photos, he must of been everywhere. So much captured that you don't even realize these things are happening being so wrapped up in the day. He got every snap and more, staged and candid, different colour photos captured.
Jason was easy and got on with the whole wedding party. They have all said how great he was! He was so available and made it very clear that if people or groups wanted a photo, to just approach him which alot of people did
There was no time limit. He stayed later than planned and there was no stress!
I'm shocked as I never thought I would received so many amazing photos.
I 100% recommend. Also to my surprise there is videography aswel!
I really can't thank you enough for everything

Incredible memories of our special day
We were absolutely delighted that we chose Jason to capture our special day. He was super organised right from the start, and we had 2 Teams calls to go through all of the details before the big day.
On the day itself, Jason blended seamlessly into the background and we didn't realise he was taking most of the photos until we saw them afterwards! The quality of the images is incredible and there wasn't a single one we didn't love. He has perfectly captured the mood and the magic of the day.
Jason provided all images less than 48 hours after the wedding which is an incredible service. We can't thank him enough for the amazing job he has done and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other brides and grooms. Thank you so much Jason!

Perfect Photographer!
We are so happy we booked Jason for our wedding. From the start to the end he made us feel relaxed and made it such a fun experience. He was extremely helpful in guiding us and our guests for great photos. Despite the hot weather and some unexpected changes to the day, Jason was so flexible is moving things around and ensuring we got everything we hoped for. Cannot Recommend Enough! Fabulous!
We cannot recommend Jason enough! Our wedding experience with him was seamless from initial booking to the wedding day. He was so friendly over the phone and explained everything in detail. On our wedding day, he completely put us at ease from the very start. Neither of us are massively confident people so having photos was a little nerve-wracking, but all of our photos look so natural and filled with love and happiness, thanks to Jason's professionalism and ability to make us feel comfortable whatever the situation.
He went above and beyond what we expected, even getting our photos back to us within 48 hours of our wedding!
Would recommend to anyone, particularly if you aren't hugely confident with photos being taken of you.

Outstanding service from Savage Photography for our big day! Amazing photos!
We booked for “Just the wedding- 2/3 hr coverage”. Our experience with Savage Photography from start to finish was outstanding! Jason had a personal video call with us once booked and went through what would happen on the day, also discussing our requirements! Jason was professional and responsive leading up to the big day and we had a pre wedding video call to finalise the last minute bits! We felt so comfortable, relaxed and excited to work with Jason based on our booking experience! On the wedding day Jason was very friendly and made us feel at ease! Shooting with Jason was so much fun and we could feel his enthusiasm for his work! Now the professional photos which are amazing! The most amazing day!
It was a pleasure having Jason as our wedding photographer! He arrived early on the day and was a calming and reassuring presence during a stressful morning. Jason went above and beyond to get the most amazing photos of us and our guests! I’m not usually a fan of black & white photos but we trusted Jason’s vision and, to my surprise, the black & white photos are actually my favourite ones! Jason also processed our photos within less than a week which is amazing! We are so grateful to have had Jason document the most important day of our lives and are so happy with our photos. Jason Savage
Photographer
Born in 1971 and raised in Nottingham, I work throughout the Midlands as a professional events photographer and sometimes further afield if the work is interesting, I've been passionate about photography all my life and have built up my own freelance photography company the last few years having photographed at more then a hundred events these past two years alone.
I cover anything event based such as weddings, engagements, families, parties, corporate events, theatre, dance, shows and pretty much anything that takes my interest.
I have a love for photographing people and my aim is to always capture people in the moment, their personalities and expressions, my primary goal is to document the occasion to tell a story of the day in an artistic way, I see every event I photograph is an opportunity to create something memorable and beautiful.
For me this is the best job in the world and I'm always at my happiest with a camera in my hand.
