Leo Tucker is the founder and lead photographer behind Leo Tucker Photography & Films, an award-winning wedding photography and cinematography company built around his passion for capturing people, emotion and the moments that make a wedding truly personal.
Leo’s journey into wedding photography has been anything but ordinary. After studying Photography and Digital Imaging at university while working and building his business, he turned his passion for photography into a growing wedding brand covering weddings across the UK.
His work has been recognised within the wedding industry, including being named Best Tyne & Wear Photographer 2025 by Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine and receiving the Hitched Wedding Awards 2026.
For Leo, though, the awards are only part of the story. What matters most is the relationship he builds with his couples. He wants every couple to feel comfortable enough to forget the camera is even there, while still knowing that he is there when they need him whether that's fixing a dress, calming pre-wedding nerves, organising family photographs or simply helping the day run smoothly.
His photography combines natural, candid storytelling with an editorial influence, creating images that feel authentic while still being carefully composed. Leo is particularly passionate about capturing the moments couples don't always see themselves the reactions, the laughter, the tears and the little interactions happening throughout the day.
Leo has also built a talented team around him, bringing together photographers and cinematographers who share his approach and standards. Together, Leo Tucker Photography & Films provides couples with a complete photography and cinematic wedding experience.
Ultimately, Leo doesn't want couples to simply remember what their wedding looked like. He wants them to look through their photographs and films years later and feel exactly what they felt on the day.

Meet the team
Hey, I’m Leo – a people person with a camera and a love for storytelling through honest, emotive imagery. I’m based in the UK, and when I’m not behind the lens, you’ll probably find me exploring the countryside, catching up with friends over a pint , or quietly people-watching (photographer habits die hard!).
I’ve always been drawn to the little moments—the ones you don’t always notice at the time, but that mean everything when you look back. That’s why I picked up a camera in the first place: to capture real life, beautifully and truthfully.
My photography style is relaxed, natural, and timeless. No fuss, no fake smiles—just genuine connection and all the little details that make life rich and meaningful. I’m all about creating a calm, easygoing atmosphere where people feel like themselves, so I can capture them as themselves.
I care deeply about the experience I give people—whether it's helping someone feel comfortable in front of the camera, or making sure the finished images reflect not just how things looked, but how they felt.
Photography isn't just my job—it's a big part of who I am. And I'm grateful every day that I get to do something I love while connecting with amazing people along the way.
Hi, I’m Megan – second shooter, videographer, and your calm, creative presence behind the scenes.
I work alongside Leo to help capture your day from every angle—both in photos and on film. While Leo focuses on the main photography coverage, I’m there capturing everything else: the stolen glances, proud smiles, heartfelt reactions, and all the subtle, emotional moments that often happen when no one’s looking.
As a second shooter, I photograph the parts of your day that round out the story—like the groom’s morning prep, guest arrivals, or the little in-between moments that bring your gallery to life. As a videographer, I’m quietly filming the movement, sound, and energy of the day, turning it all into a film that brings your memories back to life in a way photos alone never could.
My style is natural, documentary-led, and heartfelt. I don’t believe in forced poses or overdone edits—just real moments, honest emotion, and a soft, cinematic feel. I’m also that extra helping hand when you need it—pinning buttonholes, fixing hair, calming nerves, or making sure everyone’s where they need to be.
I have a background in visual storytelling and a real love for the little details—especially the ones that mean the most later on. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such meaningful moments and to work side-by-side with Leo, bringing both still and moving images together into one beautifully complete story.
When I’m not filming or shooting, you’ll probably find me out for a walk with a coffee in hand, planning our next getaway, or re-watching a comfort film with my camera never too far away.
Hi, I’m Tom – second photographer, videographer, and all-around calm presence behind the camera.
I work alongside Leo and Megan to help capture your day in both stills and motion. Whether I’m filming those emotional vows, photographing candid reactions, or grabbing sweeping shots of your venue, I’m there to make sure every part of your day is seen, felt, and remembered.
As a second photographer, I focus on capturing the natural, unscripted moments that often happen in the background—guest reactions, little details, and genuine interactions that add depth to your gallery. As a videographer, I’m quietly documenting the movement, sound, and atmosphere of your day, so you can relive it again and again.
My style is documentary-led, relaxed, and unobtrusive. I believe the best moments aren’t staged—they just happen. So I focus on staying in the moment, working quietly, and letting things unfold naturally while keeping an eye on light, timing, and the little things that matter.
You’ll often find me adjusting gear, scouting the best angles, or making sure everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera. I’m here to support both the team and the couple—whatever needs doing, I’m on it.
When I’m not shooting, I’m usually chasing good light, exploring the outdoors, or indulging my love of music and tech. Being part of this team and capturing such meaningful stories is something I never take for granted.
