We hired Eddie King from Singing Waiters UK for my wife’s 40th birthday, and I have to say, he was absolutely amazing.

I thought long and hard about hiring a singing waiter because I wasn’t sure how it would go. I wanted to surprise my wife, make her feel really special, and definitely didn’t want her to feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. Eddie completely understood this from the start. He was always approachable, accommodating and genuinely listened to what we wanted.

The performance itself was fantastic. Eddie had such a positive impact on the whole evening and did an amazing job of building up the atmosphere and getting everyone involved. Our guests absolutely loved him, and he really helped make the party feel unique and memorable.

The biggest thing for me was seeing how much my wife enjoyed it — the surprise definitely worked! Eddie managed to make her feel special without making her feel uncomfortable, which was exactly what I had hoped for.

Even my 8-year-old got involved - who knows, in a few years’ time he maybe part of the team! 😂

If, like me, you’re wondering whether you should book a singing waiter, I can honestly say go for it — and book Eddie! As other reviews have said, you certainly won’t be disappointed.

We got married on 29th June 2026 and had Eddie from the Singing Waiters surprise my wife and all of our guests. He was absolutely brilliant from start to finish.

The best part for me was how little I actually had to organise. Eddie basically asked me where we were getting married and for the venue details, then took care of everything himself directly with the venue. He kept the whole thing completely secret from my wife and all of our guests, which took a lot of pressure off me!

On the day he blended in seamlessly with the actual venue staff, pretending to be there on training. Nobody suspected a thing.

While I was getting ready, Eddie discreetly came to speak to me after I'd come out of the groom's suite. He suggested doing the surprise around our cake cutting and explained exactly what he was going to do. After we'd cut the cake, he came up behind us, deliberately fell over and dropped everything on the floor before revealing himself and starting to sing. The reaction was brilliant.

We originally had seven songs planned, but Eddie even threw in an extra one and performed eight songs for us in total. He had everyone up, singing and dancing and completely changed the atmosphere of the evening.

We had around 50 guests and booked just Eddie on his own, which was absolutely perfect for the size of our wedding. You definitely don't need a huge wedding or multiple singers for it to work.

Even now, people still bring up how good the Singing Waiter was and how much they enjoyed it.

If you're considering booking Eddie as a surprise for your wedding, do it. The fact that he organised everything behind the scenes, kept the surprise completely secret and then absolutely smashed the performance made it one of the highlights of our wedding.

What an amazing experience from start to finish. I contacted Eddie to plan a surprise for my Daughter and future Son In Laws wedding. After contacting a very pushy previous company Eddie really put my mind at rest and actually listened to what I wanted. The communication with Eddie was brilliant and he helped me every step of the way. Jess & Ryan were totally amazing and from the start of the first song had the whole room up on their feet. We were lucky enough to have Eddie to entertain us at the wedding and wow ( if you want Karaoke this is the wrong company to contact). Wow, where do we even begin?! The BEST singing waiters in the UK by far!!! From the very first phone call, we knew singing waiters UK were exactly what we wanted and needed at our wedding!! We went for the full package, because having live music mixed with a dj set AND the singing waiter set was a no brainer! It made it easier for us to manage as we didn’t have lots of different vendors!

A few months before the wedding, we had a FaceTime call with Eddie and oh my goodness, we fell in love with him straight away! Eddie matched our vibe as a couple completely, he is the most kindest, down to earth guy you could ever have the pleasure of meeting and nothing was too much trouble for him! We had a special request for our first dance and my god did they deliver on that one! Our dance floor was incredible!

On the wedding day, we saw Eddie and Joe and were so excited for them to start!! We wanted the food over just so all of our guests could have a surprise! We agreed with Eddie that it would be great for impact if he did a full trip, and that he did! Our guests were so shocked, one of the groomsmen helped him up and then… him and Joe came alive and started singing - it was ELECTRIC! I wish we could relive this moment over and over again. Our guests were on their feet and the chairs, and our evening guests had just arrived so they too got to join in with the fun! I honestly cannot explain to you how incredible Eddie and Joe were at singing, they have the most beautiful voices! Even our photographers and videographer said they were the best singing waiters they’ve ever seen! It was magic. Even my Nan’s were up dancing and singing away, pure joy from everyone in that room because of Eddie and Joe.

Eddie and Joe rolled beautifully into the evening entertainment, with 2 live sets plus a dj set - both being just incredible! My two nieces were so keen to do some singing on the microphone and Eddie and Joe made them the happiest little girls ever when they allowed them to do some performances! They were on cloud 9 and it was the most beautiful experience for them ever!

Eddie and Joe are genuinely the nicest guys ever, we really hope we see them again because they are on our level in every single way!! If you’re debating the singing waiters UK, I could not recommend these guys enough and I would say BOOK THEM NOW. This is one wedding purchase we will never ever regret!! I booked the full entertainment package as a surprise for my partner. It was genuinely the best decision I made for the day. The professionalism from Singing Waiters UK was 2nd to none and the performers on the day Eddie and Joe made sure it was constant energy and vibes from start to finish. No request was too much and they made sure to make everyone feel involved and part of the fun throughout the whole day. If I were to do it all again, I wouldn’t hesitate to book these guys and I’m already planning another event where I can have an excuse to book them.
