Had a great connection from first call. We booked engagement photoshoot before the wedding as well. It was a very good choice, because we got to meet our photographer and I tell you what, Dominika was so easy gaining. She made connections with us immediately as well as with our family and friends. We booked Melanie Jane Photography for our wedding at the Roslin Beach Hotel on 1st August 2026, after finding her through Google when searching for wedding photographers in Essex and Southend. We were especially pleased to see that Melanie had photographed weddings at the Roslin before, as it meant she already knew the venue and some of the best spots for photos. From our very first call, Melanie was incredibly professional, friendly and reassuring. She really let me take the lead with what I wanted from our wedding photography, which I appreciated so much. The package also included a lovely get-to-know-you session, where we met Melanie at the Roslin around six weeks before the wedding for a coffee. I was able to go through all the photos I wanted, who I wanted them with and all the important family combinations, so I felt completely confident that nothing important would be missed. We also did a little photo shoot on the beach during our meeting, where Melanie helped us try out different positions and poses. The photos she took were beautiful and it was such a good way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day. I had also told her that I really wanted a dip-kiss photo down the aisle, and she made sure she knew exactly what I had in mind. On the wedding day itself, Melanie was fantastic. She directed everyone so smoothly and confidently, particularly when it came to the group photographs, while still keeping everything relaxed and enjoyable. She knew exactly what she was doing and made the whole photography side of the day feel completely effortless. We were also so impressed with how quickly we received our teaser photos — just 2–3 days after the wedding! It was such a lovely surprise to be able to relive some of the day so soon after, and the photos were absolutely beautiful. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding. Melanie was professional, organised, friendly and incredibly talented, and she made us feel completely reassured from our first conversation right through to the wedding day. We would highly recommend Melanie Jane Photography to anyone getting married, especially if you’re considering the Roslin Beach Hotel. John makes you feel at ease, not just as as bride and groom but guests to. He always wants to make the shots perfect for you, from how you are holding bouquets to the placement wedding dress train. He is so professional and always makes sure he does his research into the venue to ensure you get the best pictures in the best locations and covers all areas just incase the weather turns. Honestly an amazing chap and photographer and I would recommend him 100%.

Highly recommend Marcus! We had the hybrid package - so videography plus as many photos as he is able to take. The videos are absolutely magical and make me cry every time I watch as they are so beautiful. And his photos are equally beautiful! We will treasure his work for the rest of our lives. He’s also just an all round great person; punctual, funny, makes everyone feel relaxed around the camera and just blends into part of your big day. So happy we used him for our wedding.

We honestly couldn't recommend Adrian enough! He was such a friendly, funny and down-to-earth guy! He made us feel so relaxed in front of the camera. He was quick and efficient at capturing all the photos, without it ever feeling rushed or taking us away from enjoying our day. We are so happy with our preview photos - which we received very quickly! We are excited about seeing the rest! Such a great guy, Professions and clearly very talented at what he does. We're so glad we chose him and would 100% recommend his services to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

Danielle is incredible. I found her during my research phase and fell in love with her photography style - it was the only one where I could feel the emotions as if I was in the room with the people from the pictures. Danielle is highly organised and I never had any additional questions, she just naturally answered all of them and helped us ask the right ones. We appreciated the check-ins down the line. Initially we only budgeted for a half day but around two weeks before the big day, we decided to go with a full day instead. Danielle kindly adjusted her schedule and was happy to stay with us for longer. The wedding day itself, she was flawless. We had a group of guests who kept interjecting the “official” pictures part, as they also wanted pictures with the newly married couple but weren’t officially on the shot list. Danielle was super flexible and accounted for them all. We received our previews in record time - 95 stunning pictures in 24 hours. We cannot wait to see the full gallery! Thank you again, Danielle. You are incredible.

Shannon photographed our wedding. It was a small ceromony, and Shannon captured the event perfectly. Communcation prior to the day was fantastic, we knew exactly what to expect, and on the day she was brilliant. Follow up afterwards and the photo selection process was great - and no stress what so ever.
