The Depot worked perfectly for us. Small daytime (75 guests) with 230 in the evening, so their flexibility was just what we needed. We had minimal suppliers, but friends who turned up to do lighting, flowers, decor. The staff were so accommodating. Our guests loved the different levels in the venue. The process for us was relaxed, flexible and professional. We were so happy from start to finish. Highly recommend the Depot!

“I can't thank Leanne, Gary and the rest of the staff enough for making my special day so special. They opened early to allow us to set the room up how I wanted and always had a smile on their face. The food was amazing with fantastic comments from my guests on how tasty and filling everything was. No one went hungry, even the few fussy eaters I had. There was a fantastic choice in the menu which pleased everyone. The bar was always manned with extra staff during the busy period. Leanne and Gary checked in asking if everything was ok and I was surprises by how quickly the room was turned over to accommodate the evening guests and DJ. Decor was beautiful and pre wedding meetings always went smoothly. My photographer was impressed by how much natural light there was and the photos came out brilliantly. I highlight recommend the King Head for any function but especially weddings. They truly made everything special for me. Thank you again to all the staff.”

We had our wedding reception here in April 2025. The Little Bat team was great from the start. Due to some last minute venue switching, we only booked with them 3 months in advance, but that was no issue for them at all! The food was a selection of light bites and little meals, all of which were absolutely delicious. The venue was very accommodating for us to have a quiz host come in and use their setup. They also recommended an amazing DJ for us, and the DJ definitely made the night! Really recommend using DJ Limao as well! We hardly needed any decorations at all because the venue itself has so much cool character. The staff were responsive and experienced with weddings. We loved doing our tasting as well, so I recommend booking that with them! Everyone who came (a little over 60 people) told us it was the best night out they had in years. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cool little London venue.

We couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our wedding than Victoria Stakes! From the moment we visited, we fell in love with its beautiful setting and atmosphere. On the wedding day, the entire Victoria Stakes team ensured everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without worrying about a thing. The space looked stunning, and the service exceeded our expectations, making the day even more special. Our guests raved about everything, from the canapés to the main courses, and the drink selection was perfectly curated, with cocktails flowing all night (Jungle Bird was named the favourite cocktail by our guests). A special thanks goes to Shalimar, the event manager! From the moment we started working together, she made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. Her attention to detail, creativity, and ability to perfectly capture our vision were incredible. On the day, she handled every aspect with professionalism and a calm, reassuring presence, making sure our special day was exactly how we imagined it.

We first came to view Frederick's as a potential wedding reception venue in May 2024. We were instantly won over by its stylish interiors - modern and sophisticated, yet warm and welcoming. Over and above that are the incredibly hard working and attentive team at Frederick's, making it a venue with not only style but also substance. Namely, Laura Nyavie, who is an incredibly talented events planner. Throughout the process Laura has been a voice of reason and logic, making our planning meetings at Frederick's an oasis amidst the chaos of wedding planning. We have only ever been greeted by her with warmth and reassurance. It's hard to beleive that Laura had been simultaneously planning several other events over the course of the year, yet somehow also making us feel like her top priority, even when she was busy. Our wedding day exceeded all expectations and we owe so much of that to Laura and the team who have worked tirelessly to make it happen. Our only sadness now is that it's over, but thankfully we'll be visiting Frederick's every year from now on to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Thank you so much for everything.

Thank you for an unforgettable experience! From the very beginning, we could feel that we were in excellent hands. Sophie was so helpful, patient and accommodating throughout the process. Everything was organised flawlessly - from the food, to the live music and logistics for the dancefloor. This really helped us relax and enjoy the day. We had so many positive comments from guests. It was a magical evening in a truly charming and beautiful restaurant. We will be going back for our first anniversary dinner!

Natalie worked closely with us from start to finish, ensuring that even the smallest details were handled with care, allowing us to focus on enjoying our day. The private dining room provided the perfect backdrop for our reception, creating an intimate atmosphere for our guests. The food was exceptional – every dish was full of flavour and they even provided us with a wedding cake which was a delight. Our guests also commented on how delicious the food was and we were very impressed by how flexible the kitchen was in accommodating various dietary needs.
