Bar, Pub and Restaurant Wedding Venues in East London

We celebrated our wedding at Boundary last month and the team really gave us the wedding of our dreams! The venue itself is a hidden gem with a beautiful outdoor rooftop and orangery for a drinks reception and a great underground space for the party - which needs to be seen in person to be appreciated. All our guests loved the venue and we had so many compliments about the food and drink. The team couldn’t do more for us throughout, from the events team through to reception and hotel staff. The events team in particular were very quick to answer all our questions in the run up, meeting up with us in person multiple times to discuss details and were so flexible when it came to timings and requirements for the day. Our friends and family also stayed in the hotel overnight, with us staying in the suite which meant we could make a weekend of it. We absolutely loved our wedding at Boundary and think this is the perfect venue for anyone after a city wedding - the pictures don’t do it justice. If we could do it all again we wouldn’t change a thing!

Our wedding at The Dickens Inn in September 2025 was truly the best day of our lives. We’d always wanted a pub wedding, and as this has long been one of our favourite London pubs, it felt really special to celebrate our day here. The team went above and beyond from start to finish. Agata was exceptionally organised and helpful throughout the planning, and on the day Iva and Rob ran everything so smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. We had 130 guests for the meal and 40 additional evening guests, but the space never felt cramped in The Dicken's Suite upstairs - the layout worked perfectly. The food and wine were fantastic (so many compliments from our guests), and The Dickens Suite looked absolutely beautiful throughout the ceremony, meal, and evening (esp. with the hanging fairy lights). Walking to Tower Bridge for our couple photos was also a real highlight. We couldn’t recommend The Dickens Inn highly enough for a gorgeous London wedding!

We had our wedding at Renegade Urban Winery in August (2025), and we could not have asked for a better venue and team. The whole process from the start was very calm and relaxed, and Renegade were very flexible with whatever ideas we had for the day. Tara and the team were brilliant throughout the planning of the event, and on the day we could not of asked for a more professional and helpful group of people. They made what could be a stressful day totally relaxed, which meant we could just focus on enjoying it. We chose a selection of wines from Renegade, which all our guests were raving about - particularly the sparkling rose for welcome drinks. A huge thank you to Tara and the whole Renegade team!

We had chosen to book our wedding reception at Bread Street Kitchen Limehouse, after initially tasting the delicious food, experincing the friendly service and enjoying gorgeous view. Organising the event with Emily was a stress free and an enjoyable process. Her suggestions and guidance intuitive and helpful, the event wouldn't have come together without it. Emily was responsive and understood exactly how we envisioned the day to be. The day itself was made nothing less than memorable, thanks to the staff. Giedre & Rafa looked after us beyond our expectations. All staff made sure our day went smooth, seamless and worked magic in the background so we could really relax. Besides the exceptional service and surroundings, we had decided to book here for the food. We had a variety of dietry requirements for our guests and the chef catered to them all. The food was beautifully presented and mouth wateringly delicious to eat. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the beef wellington! Celebrating your event at Bread Street Kitchen is a no brainer. Thank you for making our day unforgettable, we will be back again!

We recently had our wedding reception at Hare & Hounds and it was fantastic - staff was great, food was delicious and everyone had a great time. Would highly recommend!

The Red Lion made our wedding day so special. Clare Edwards was so helpful from the start and made it feel like our wedding day was as important to her as it was to us! Any challenges we faced, were completely out of Urban Weddings control. There was a fire which took out parts of the venue. Clare and her team could not have done more to help. They were open and honest from the moment the incident happened and did everything they could to make it right. The food was delicious, the food tasting was one of my favourite parts of the process! The red wine was unreal. We also got our DJ recommendation from Urban Weddings, and we went on to book Fizz and Groove - another amazing supplier! Anyone looking for a DJ should look no further than Fizz and Groove! On the day, the staff were so attentive and gave a real "wedding venue" vibe as opposed to a pub, which some people may expect. The ballroom is a magnificent room but it was Urban Weddings and the staff that made it perfect!

We are so pleased we chose Morito for our post wedding ceremony dinner! The staff at Morito were very attentive. They made delicious cocktails to order and kept the drinks flowing! The food was also amazing. They were flexible with our arrival times, music and decoration and the staff were super friendly and helpful, even helping us narrow down which wines to serve at dinner a few days beforehand. Very reasonable price point considering the high quality of food, wine and service we thought.

After several memorable meals at The Gun, we decided to hold our wedding celebration there and were not disappointed. The food was, as expected, flawless, which was matched by the excellent, friendly service that we have come to expect. Our guests were equally impressed. Add to that the superb riverside views (and a stroke of luck with the weather) and I can honestly say that it was as close to perfect as we could have hoped.

Rodney and his team at the Larkshall pub have been absolutely amazing! We hired the mezzanine area foe a party of 27 people for our wedding reception and it was absolutely perfect, the food was divine, the service was spot on and the room was decorated even better than we had hoped. We are absolutely blown away by the service received and would absolutely recommend this amazing place for a party, a reception or even just a great roast dinner. We will be back in a years time to celebrate our first anniversary, I'm sure! Thank you to all the team! 🙏

We wanted a very personalised day, rather than using a generic wedding venue, and as we go to the Wildcard regularly it was great being able to use it for our evening party. The space and layout makes it really flexible and we used caterers who could set up outside and serve our guests 'bowl food'; we were also able to use outside seating for guests who wanted it. The Wildcard team were really helpful and accommodating, working directly with the caterer, sorting out a special drink selection for us, enabling us to have both DJ's and live music. On the night they managed things brilliantly, and were really thoughtful and attentive - even making sure that we both had our drinks topped up as we were busy hosting! And, the guests loved the unusual venue and the personalised vibe.
