Marquees and Tents Wedding Venues in Cambridgeshire

Having an outdoor structure where you can feast, play games, and connect with your loved ones – no matter the weather – is a great idea for a wedding. Let Hitched guide you through some common questions about the process.

What Questions Should I Ask My Wedding Venue About Marquees?

Most importantly, ensure that the venue does have an outdoor area that is sizeable enough to entertain everyone. Perhaps it's a little on the smaller side, but that might be lovely for a cocktail reception. If it's large enough, you can ask if they can supply the marquee themselves, or if they have preferred vendors to choose from.

What Should I Ask My Marquee and Tent Vendor?

If possible, it'd be lovely to see what the marquee looks like once erected, in order to understand how it will look in the space. Also, it's a great idea to ask if the marquee vendor is able to visit your venue in person. They'll have a better understanding as to what size tent would suit your gathering best.

Why Should I Get Married in Cambridgeshire?

Cambridgeshire boasts stunning spots where you can exchange your vows and capture wedding memories. Say your "I dos" beneath the breathtaking octagon tower inside Ely Cathedral, built in 1342, and marvel at the medieval craftsmanship. Capture your couple's portraits against the backdrop of University of Cambridge, travelling back to 1209. That's a destination wedding, for sure.

The most beautiful place to get married 😊 Staff where absolutely amazing from start to finish nothing was an issue for them 🥰 Arrived Friday to set up having the whole weekend defiantly made the difference Kelly was on hand for what ever we needed , could not have gone smoother ( and I am a stress head ) Wedding day 💝 had a visit from Kelly in the morning to check how we all was she 100% kept my nerves at bay , unfortunately the weather was a little wet before the ceremony so Kelly arrived to pick us up in her beautiful car 🤭 Ceremony was beautiful Welcome drinks and canapés - an absolute dream The food was amazing couldn’t fault a thing ! We had an issue with my grandad falling but the team was brilliant ! Sunday the most relaxing day , drinks in the hot tub and well needed family time Met by Kelly on Monday to check everything and everyone was okay just added the extra touch Such a beautiful weekend and wedding Thank you rosewood ❣️
