Lodge Farm has it all, a 200 year old ceremony barn, 2 beautiful outdoor ceremony options and a stunning 3 hat tipi. On top of all that we have on site accommodation for your nearest and dearest and additional accommodation 5 minutes taxi away!
At Lodge Farm we pride ourself on making sure you have the perfect wedding day. Therefore when you book a wedding we will give you exclusive use of our beautiful venue for 3 days! Our packages gives you a full event planning service, accommodation for 14 people and sole use of the venue. You can choose to get married on the lawn, in the secret garden or in the newly converted barn, all included in the price.
Lodge Farm House is a country wedding venue in King's Walden, Hertfordshire, England. This idyllic property, set amidst 20 acres of beautiful rolling countryside, features mature and delightfully peaceful gardens, a picturesque Victorian pagoda, and wonders at every turn that are sure to delight and take your breath away. This stunning location offers the perfect canvas for you to create the wedding of your dreams. All you have to do is reach out to begin a journey that you and your loved ones will remember and cherish for years to come.
The Barn
Our newly converted barn offers a beautiful rustic space for up to 150 guests to witness your special moment! A combination of fairy lighting, candles and chandellier, as well as natural lighting make for a perfect indoor space to tie the knot!
The Lawn
If you are looking for a spacious outdoor ceremony then the lawn is perfect! With the backdrop of the formal garden and the house, it is a stunning place for up to 200 guests to enjoy the outdoors during your ceremony!
The Secret Garden
If you are looking for a more intimate ceremony the secret garden is for you. With a capacity of up to 70 guests you can enjoy your special moment with your nearest and dearest. Get married under the beautiful arbor in this lovely secluded space.
Facilities and Capacity
Lodge Farm House caters for parties of 50 to 200 guests, and its spacious grounds are available for exclusive use. The charming secret garden is a perfect setting for a wedding blessing, after which you and your guests can adjourn to the Three Tipis for an evening of fine dining and dancing. The venue also offers award-winning accommodation for up to 14 people, so when the evening's festivities are through, you and your wedding party can retire to rest in comfort and style.

Such a special place.
Bob and Carol were so lovely in the house, making us feel really welcome and comfortable. Their breakfast was also incredibly yummy! Shout out to Bob's perfect eggs!
The house itself is beautiful and we had a wonderful time getting ready in the morning, it was such a joy to have all our immediate family stay with us.
The grounds and Tipi were perfect! Our wedding was the absolute best day, and everything we wanted.
The staff who work at Lodge Farm are so lovely and a credit to the venue, especially Liz, who helped us organise the best day ever. I wish I knew all the staff's names to personally thank them, but Amanda was a diamond, cooling me down before walking down the aisle on an extremely hot day.
Thank you all for a day our whole family will never forget.

Beautiful Liz was our wedding event manager on 30.06.26 at The Lodge Farm, and we honestly couldn't thank her enough. She was an utter joy throughout the whole planning phase and on the actual day.
She was so supportive, cheerful and couldn't help us more, nothing was too much trouble and her problem solving skills were superb!
Our wedding was the bestest day we could have wished for, and we know how much of that was due to Liz.

Exclusive Tipi Venue - Get Booking!
It has everything you wish for it to offer! A beautiful Farm House, a stunning barn and an exquisite 3 hatted tipi with 48 hour hire!!
From our first appointment with Michael, he was very welcoming and friendly! He showed us round and took time to answer all our questions. As soon as my (now) husband stood in the barn, he knew we would be getting married here. The feel and the warmth were just above what we expected.
After finding out availability, we walked back to the car and we hadn’t even got to the bottom of the road and we emailed Michael to confirm our date.
We felt truly blessed when Michael confirmed our date and the wedding was booked!
Our next stage was being passed over to Liz - WOW, what a woman! Highly professional, polite, knowledgeable, the list is pretty endless! She was always so responsive and made us feel like we were her only couple getting married (even though she was juggling lots of other brides). On the lead up, she made sure we had everything we needed and helped me through my extensive to do list! Not once did she make us feel we were asking too many questions or had any silly requests!
Come the day of setting up the venue - absolutely outstanding support and service, both from Liz and the family who own the estate. They really treat you like their family and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant! The breakfasts on both days, lovingly made my Carol, were just spectacular! No ask was never too much! Always a smile on her face!
The wedding day ran seamlessly and that was due to Liz and her amazing team! Everyone, to this day, still comment on how amazing Liz was! No ask was too much!
Liz made all my suppliers feel welcome and part of the team and now they all want to come back and work there again!
If you haven't booked your venue yet, I would highly advise a visit - you will not be disappointed!

From a supplier’s point of view, everything was handled seamlessly. Liz and the team were incredibly professional, organised, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Communication was excellent throughout, which makes such a difference when coordinating surprise entertainment.
The venue itself is beautiful and creates the perfect atmosphere for weddings — and the way the team manage the flow of the day allowed our surprise performance to land perfectly, creating an amazing reaction from the couple and their guests.

The best wedding ever!
The staff in the house made our stay amazing also, from the night before making sure that we knew they were on hand if we needed them, the morning of the wedding laid out a beautiful breakfast and of course the beautiful breakfast the day after the wedding. I honestly couldn’t recommend this venue enough! Thank you all for making our day so special. Xxx
Just the most wonderful venue
The venue is stunning and we fell in love with it the moment we saw it and knew it was the one. From the start of the booking process, to the day it’s self I just could not fault a thing. Everybody was so helpful with all our questions leading up to the big day, with endless support from the venues wedding organiser. Because of how well it is run, there was no stress at all and we got to enjoy every moment with our family and friends surrounding us.
Our day here was everything we could have dreamed of and more. We would highly recommend booking here!
