We got married on 20th July 2024 & had the most amazing day at Lodge farm house. With our package we had the house Friday - Sunday which ment we could give our friends and family a gorgeous weekend away. Liz has been absolutely amazing from the minute we booked our day, the freedom she give us to do what we want with the day was everything we wanted, but also the help and advice off her with what she thought we should do to make everything even better! She was easy to reach and fast replying whenever we had any questions or needed anything which always put us at ease. You could also tell she wanted our day to be amazing just as much as we did and it truly was - mostly because of Liz. We cannot thank you enough for everything you did Liz, you really made our day run so smooth and still be so special and fun!

Bob & Carol who run the house were so kind and helpful all weekend, nothing was too much for them! From showing the kids all the animals to giving my now mother in law some pizza after setting the venue up all day! Everyone staying there has mentioned how amazing and kind they where, the breakfasts where beautiful and just what we needed on each day, they let us take our time and didn’t rush anyone out the house. They have kept the house and the grounds so beautiful!

To everyone involved in lodge farm house, thankyou so so much for your involvement in our day, it was everything we dreamed it would be. We’re so sad it’s all over & will never forget your part it it 🩷

We got married in July 2024 and whilst our expectations were high, somehow Liz, Carol and Bob managed to go above and beyond to make our day perfect. No other word to describe this place, just perfection. Great place, incredible hosts and a sensational place

We struggle to find the words to explain just how incredible the venue of Lodge Farm House. Michael, Liz and the team are above and beyond our expectations and guided us through step by step every part of the process.
We wanted an exclusive, yet relaxed and intimate private venue to fully focus and celebrate our day. The grounds at lodge farm are immaculate and provided the most gorgeous backdrop to our ceremony and wedding setting.
Nothing was too much for Liz our wedding co-ordinatior. She led the way in giving us the best advice with regards to timelines and recommendations and everything in between. She was there the entire process- at the end of a WhatsApp or email. The wedding day she went above and beyond to ensure my vision came to life and treated us like celebrities for the day. She truly went above and beyond and ensured both of our needs were met- along with our guests. I have left feeling like I have a friend in Liz! She keeps everything running like clockwork. She is amazing!
Michael was flexible accommodating with our requests and provided us with everything we required. The venue was perfection and Carol & Bob who run the house, was so beautifully kept. The bridal suite made us feel like royalty!
Our children were comfortable running around the grounds and slept comfortably during our evening reception in the self contained family
flat at the top of the house. This meant we could party on down knowing they were safe!
I honestly cannot name a better venue to host your wedding at. Every single guest came up to us and told us the same.
Lodge house farm and the team are truly magical. We are just so sad our day is over but our memories will last forever!

From the moment we walked into Lodge Farm we knew that this was the perfect venue.
We attended the open day and Liz, the event manager made us feel so welcome and answered all our questions so thoroughly. The team at Lodge farm were transparent , supportive and did everything and beyond to make our day the most incredible day of our lives. The house is beautiful and made our weekend even more special.
Liz the event manager is the most organised and calm person you could have looking after your special day. Her attention to detail is insane and she went above and beyond before , during and after the wedding.
We were able to decorate the venue exactly how we wanted to with Liz’s help.
I would recommend going to any open days to get a feel for the venue and to see it in its full glory. The location of the venue is in beautiful rolling countryside and so peaceful
Bob and Carol who own the b&b look after all your guests so well and Bob makes the best breakfasts !

I couldn't find many reviews on Lodge Farm when we were wedding planning so I am writing this for couples who are considering booking for their big day - quite simply DO IT!

Lodge farm is an absolutely stunning setting - even a little drizzle in the morning didn't take away from the beauty of the surroundings. The grounds are exceptionally well maintained (a few guests even commented on how impressive the lawn looked!) and there is a real upmarket feel to the operation.

The house itself is perfect for the bridal party - the groom and groomsmen commandeered the upstairs apartment and us girls got ready in the gorgeous en suite bedrooms, which not only were well appointed and comfortable but made for stunning 'getting ready' pictures!

Michael takes a flexible approach to running the wedding venue side and this enabled us to have a quirky and unique day - many venues place restrictions on catering for example which we weren't bound to at Lodge Farm. He also went the extra mile to ensure we had plenty of Guinness available for our guests travelling from Ireland and that our favourite drinks were behind the bar for the night.

Bob & Carol were exceptional B&B hosts who made us feel like part of the family. They treated us and our guests extremely well and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was also delicious and they went above and beyond to cater to our dietary requirements, with Bob even sourcing special sausages for my husband and our guests, who don't eat pork.

Liz, the onsite Wedding Event Manager, is an absolute superstar and we were blown away by how smoothly everything ran. It's a truly professional set up and everything went without a hitch, despite us having a fair few suppliers booked in and not following a traditional format to the day. Nothing was too much for Liz & her team and we honestly had the wedding of our dreams. Our guests cannot stop complimenting how wonderful the day was and how gorgeous the venue is!

We took a bit of a gamble booking Lodge Farm, as we had only seen the venue in November when the tipi had been taken down for the winter. However, we can confidently say it exceeded all our expectations and there isn't a thing I would change about our wedding day. Lodge Farm will always hold a special place in our hearts!

My husband told me he had booked our wedding and it was in 2 months time he then booked lodge farm so glad he did ,on the day it was like it had been planned 2 years ago can not fault anything the setting is amazing rooms at the house are lovely ,The host Bob and Sue are so lovely and Liz the wedding planner made sure everything run smooth cannot thankyou enough for such an amazing day x

cannot recommend or praise the whole team at Lodge Farm, enough for hosting our wedding in June. We knew as soon as we visited, that it would be the perfect setting for our special day. Elizabeth Dunn helped us plan our day down to the minutest details which was executed with total precision on the day. Liz and Michael organised a fantastic wine tasting event where all us wedding couples got together and it was a great evening. Special mention goes out to Michael’s parents who made us feel so much part of the family. Lodge Farm is quite simply .......STUNNING!!! All our families and guest did not stop remarking what an amazing place Lodge Farm and how fantastic the day was!

We had such a lovely wedding day at Lodge Farm House.
It was everything we had hoped for and more, it really did exceed our expectations.
We knew from the moment we found Lodge farm online to our very first viewing that it would be the location for us and Maria and the team were so friendly, lovely and helpful that we said yes straight away.
Liz was a dream to work with, she was amazing from our first contact through to our big day and we couldn't have asked for a more friendly and supportive face to guide us the whole way, she literally became like family.
We would love to do it all over again, we loved Lodge farm and the whole team and their support, it's a beautiful venue which comes with a dream team, what more could you ask for!

Thank you again for hosting our amazing wedding on Saturday! Everything was perfect, and we couldn't have wished for better staff, a better host or a nicer venue.

I am just coming back to earth with a bump after the wedding of my dreams. The whole place looked stunning and you are your team were perfection. Liz became my new best friend and was utterly faultless.

The whole day was pretty emotional but the realisation of walking down the aisle with George all became a little overwhelming at one point as you know.....your sincere words of calm and encouragement in those last minutes will stay with me forever.

Please know that I will never forget those seconds before I walked. Thank you, thank you so much for being the last person I set eyes on before I walked down the aisle with my son. x

WOW!!!! What an incredible wedding day we had :) We never thought it was possible to have an even better day than we had ever of dreamt of!
It was so beautiful, so magical & so amazing. We loved every single moment of it???? We are still very much on cloud nine and feel like we’ve been beaming with smiles all weekend!!

Everyone has been saying what a beautiful venue we had booked and that is all thanks to you. The Lodge is just incredible, so rustic, it has so much character and oozes so much detail?? I could never have imagined that my family & my new husband would have stayed and celebrated in such a stunning place, I am forever grateful that Darren stumbled across Lodge Farm when we were searching, as it was the best decision we have made!

Both me and Jenny were so impressed with how your staff / team were able to cater for us and our guests, which made everyone feel so welcome during the day. I can certainly understand why you are booked throughout the year, so thank you for all your hard work and effort.

Both me and Jenny are never ones for having all the attention on us, however for that one day everything went perfect and we can’t wait to see the pictures of our special day in such lovely surroundings.

Lodge farm house does about 20 to 30 weddings a year. Tom and Amanda had their wedding here last Saturday. It was the wedding party of the year. Highly recommended for any big events. Owned and run by Maria, she was the equivalent of the wedding planner. Her recommendations of nearby ab n b, hotels, flowers, marquee, catering and equipment was spot on. All these auxiliary parts of the wedding ran like clock work.
My daughter had the greatest day of her life.all thanks to the great team of Maria n Liz.
The venue was simply stunning, kids entertainment of candy floss machine, children entertainer, caricature artist, games room, casino and photo booth. All 220 guests partied through the night and Beverley Knight performance was just simply breathtaking. As the father of the bride, Maria n Liz you have made our day. You guys are the best.
The accommodation was spacious and we had a nice breakfast the next morning.

Where to begin?! We got married here in September 2018 and it was the most perfect venue. We had full use of the house and grounds the night before and the night-of the wedding. We even had a full English breakfast on the Saturday and Sunday morning. In the lead up to the wedding, Maria and her team were so supportive, professional and accommodating to our ideas and ensured the day was everything we dreamed of! We cannot recommend this venue enough. If you want something beautifully low-key, yet breathtaking, Lodge Farm is your venue and Maria is your woman!
