Facilities and Capacity
Ampfield Golf & Country Club's light and airy function room has a neutral décor with crystal chandeliers, providing the perfect backdrop for any style of reception. The large windows and patio doors lead directly onto a private terrace that overlooks the stunning grounds. The delightful clubhouse, bar, and terrace provide an idyllic setting for your wedding reception. The grounds, meanwhile, offer the perfect setting for your photographs, with beautiful specimen trees, undulating greens, secluded spots, and a charming little bridge. The club can accommodate up to 121 guests for formal dining, and up to 300 guests for a buffet or evening reception. The outdoor terraces are equipped with rattan sofas for you and your guests to sit back and relax in. Fire pits and gas lanterns will keep the chill at bay as the sun sets, or for evening receptions. During chillier months, you can enjoy our cosy lounge with its open log fire. There is ample parking within the grounds too, so no one will need to walk too far.

The meal is a key ingredient of the day and the culinary team here prides itself on serving food of the highest quality and presentation. The head chef and his team are full of creative ideas and love working with to-be-weds to create the perfect menu. All food is homemade on the premises, using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced produce wherever possible. They can create any style of dining experience, whether a formal wedding breakfast, buffets, hog roast or barbecues, traditional afternoon tea or high tea. Whatever style of day you have in mind, they'll collaborate with you to ensure everything is perfect. There's also a large private bar located in the venue for your use.

Stunning venue!
The venue was beautiful, already decorated which took the pressure off and there was enough space for both our big families to spread out in to the lovely garden area too.
We had hog roast & pizzas with a few salad bits which were delicious! We'll definitely be returning for dinner and wouldn't hesitate to use this venue again for future events. Thank you to everyone at Ampfield for making our day so special! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wedding 25th June 2026
The venue was absolutely perfect for a wedding day with a outside seating area for a bright summers day or even if it was wet and windy we could of had it turned around and put inside but because it was so nice we chose to keep it outside
We chose a BBQ wedding Breakfast which consisted of 3 meats 3 salads and a pudding and everyone absolutely loved it, we chose smoked beef brisket, smoked pork shoulder and Smoked pork ribs with Summer Pasta Salad, Rosemary & Garlic Roasted Potatoes & Spiced Corn on the Cob to finish us off we had Raspberry & White Chocolate Roulade omg this was amazing! and for the evening we had a finger Buffet and pizza buffet for ours and there was so much food no1 went hungry even the staff where fed( we told the staff to eat).
It was a pleasure to have our wedding at Ampfield Golf Club Everyone absolutely loved every minute of it and we cannot thank Paul enough for his hard work with the planning and making the day go exactly the way we wanted it

Paul and the gang were friendly, professional and accommodated our every need. We didn't need to worry about anything, it was all taken care of. I would definitely recommend this as a wedding venue.
Wedding day
The BEST Wedding!
From the day we agreed to hold our wedding here. Ampfield was accommodating and flexible with every request we had. The worked around our hectic schedules for things like tastings and final meetings. We had a relatively small wedding of 44 guests, but Ampfield allowed us to have input in the menu and just assisted us in having exactly what we wanted.
We were extremely lucky to have a lovely sunny day, but Ampfield did their part decorating both inside and outside beautifully. Service was friendly, quick and attentive on the day. The food was outstanding - a lot of our guests complimented the food and said it was the best wedding food they ever had.
We were able to bring any entertainment options that we wanted and Ampfield were so accommodating with that too.
If you’re looking for a friendly, flexible warm & cosy place to have your wedding or any event really - Ampfield should be the top of your list.
We really cannot thank Paul & the Ampfield team enough. They gave us and our guests the best possible wedding.
