We got married at Ruffynes Barn, and I can honestly say it was everything we dreamed of and more. The barn itself is absolutely stunning – full of character, charm, and a sense of rustic elegance that creates the perfect atmosphere for a truly magical day. What made our experience even more special was Suze, the owner. She was nothing short of incredible – warm, attentive, and so genuinely invested in making sure our day went smoothly. From the moment we first viewed the venue to the day of the wedding, she was always there to offer support, answer questions, and help bring our vision to life. Every detail of the barn is thoughtfully designed, and it offered the ideal backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful the setting was – it felt intimate, relaxed, and truly special.

We went for an intimate wedding with a total of 14 guests including ourselves as the Bride and Groom. The atmosphere was perfect: calm, relaxed, beautiful. The ladies that work behind the scenes to ensure your day goes exactly as planned are just so lovely and helpful. Amy and Alisha are just so personable and clearly know what they're doing! We left instructions on how to set up our decorations, and they were able to set it all up on the most beautiful way. The gardens were perfectly manicured, and we had free rein over the venue for our photo shoots. They also provide lovely little garden games which was a hit with our 6 year old son as well as the older guests. We opted for an afternoon tea rather than a traditional wedding breakfast. The chef and porter staff were amazing- everyone commented on how the food was so delicious. We were all so happy we could also take left over food home in little food boxes. The Secret Garden staff are so professional, taking the stress out of the day and made sure everything ran smoothly. We cannot thank you all enough for making our day just so perfect! Thank you!!

Wow — Crown Lodge is absolutely magical! From the moment we first visited, we knew it was the perfect place to say “I do.” The views are breath taking and had all of our guests in awe, and the lodge itself is so beautiful inside that it hardly needed any decoration. At the same time, it offers plenty of space to add personal touches, so it truly feels like your venue. What made our day even more special was Kylie and her incredible team. Kylie followed our plan to the tiniest detail and went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we imagined. Throughout the day, she checked in with us to see if we were happy, reassured us that everything was running smoothly, and made sure we could just relax and enjoy ourselves. From the very beginning, she was so responsive, kind, and attentive to every little detail in the lead-up to the wedding, which made the planning process feel so much easier. One of the things we loved most about Crown Lodge is how flexible it is. Unlike other venues we visited, there are no rigid rules about how your day “should” be. Instead, you’re given the freedom to create a wedding that reflects you as a couple — and that made it feel all the more special and unique. We honestly cannot thank Kylie and the team enough for everything they did to make our dream wedding come true. Crown Lodge will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly to anyone searching for a truly unforgettable venue.
