We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. Set in an amazing spot on Dartmoor, The Barn lends itself beautifully to a relaxed, fun, and unforgettable atmosphere. Dena is an incredible event organiser who expertly blends her experience with your own ideas to bring your dream day to life. She goes the extra mile to make sure your day is truly remarkable, matching your energy and making the whole process feel exciting and effortless. Our day was absolutely sublime, and all of our guests had an amazing time. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Dena and The Barn team. We’re so grateful for everything they did to make our wedding so special and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone planning their big day.

We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue than Rumleigh Farm for our wedding. From the very beginning, Louise made us feel completely at ease and was so helpful throughout the planning process. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to make sure every detail was exactly how we wanted it. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The beautiful countryside, incredible views, and peaceful surroundings created the most amazing backdrop for our special day. The house, grounds and barns were kept clean and tidy. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to the fantastic team, allowing us to relax and enjoy every single moment. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference, and we felt so looked after from start to finish. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s beautiful, welcoming, and run by people who truly care, we couldn’t recommend Rumleigh Farm highly enough

Hayne Devon was the only venue we visited, and we instantly knew it was the one. Weddings need not be stressful, and Tim and his team truly brought that vision to life. The staff were so lovely, and everything was handled smoothly and discreetly. The venue is absolutely stunning. We were lucky to have good weather on our side, which meant our guests had full access to the beautiful grounds. One of my friends described it as something out of a fairytale and that’s a fitting description. The accommodations are tastefully decorated and so cozy! There are options including shepherd’s huts, bell tents, camping, and a threshing barn. Not to mention Tim’s incredible band! they really elevated the experience. They even played a song from one of our favourite bands, which got everyone dancing. It was one of the highlights of the night! We cannot recommend it enough. Thank you, Tim and the team, for an unforgettable wedding party! 💖

From the start we really connected with the wedding planner at hawke barn. It was a smooth journey from start to end. Hawke barn is secluded and quaint and exactly what we wanted for our wedding. It was the perfect day. We had Graham and Grace the sheep for our guests and Nigel nominated himself to do the bar. Couldn't have asked for a better day.

Im writing this review on behalf of my parents. Myself and my sister were given the task of planning our parents wedding , after 35 years of live and laughter they decivlded to tie the knot . We searched high and low for the perfect venue as we were a small group of only 14. Middlecoombe was indeed that perfect venue , from the 1st message through to our departure they could not have done enough to help make our parents day magical would highly recommend them as a venue.

Where do we even begin? We got married at Upton Barn & Walled Garden on 18th July 2026, and it was quite simply the most perfect day of our lives. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. We were fortunate enough to have our ceremony outside in the beautiful sunshine, and the gardens created the most incredible backdrop for our wedding. Every part of the venue is immaculate and beautifully maintained. What really made the day unforgettable, however, was the incredible team. A special thank you to Tracey and Georgina, who went above and beyond from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made us feel completely at ease throughout the entire planning process and on the day itself. Their attention to detail, organisation and genuine care meant we could relax and enjoy every single moment knowing everything was in safe hands. The whole day ran seamlessly, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how friendly and professional all of the staff were. If you're looking for a wedding venue that combines breathtaking surroundings with exceptional service, look no further than Upton Barn & Walled Garden. We couldn't have wished for a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding, and we'll cherish the memories forever. Thank you to everyone at Upton Barn & Walled Garden for giving us the most incredible day. It truly exceeded every expectation, and we would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

We dragged our wedding out over the whole weekend and Glebe House Cottages could not have been more accommodating! It really was the perfect venue for us - you must see it in person, it's so much better than the photos! We hired all the cottages along with the venue from Friday-Monday so that we could really enjoy our special day. The cottages are all lovely, with different layouts and bedrooms that fitted our group perfectly. We chose to use Granary and Little Barn (which interconnect) for our bridal party getting ready space, while the groom & co were on the opposite side in Old Stables and Coach House - this worked so well as both areas have lovely indoor and outdoor spaces for pre wedding photos. The courtyard in the middle of the cottages was also such a lovely private space for our family meal the night before. We booked the venue on the day we toured around it because Jay and his parents were so warm and genuine. We had total faith in Jay's vision for the barn which was only foundations when we booked and loved seeing it come to life over the next 18 months. He welcomed us to visit the venue anytime (at no additional cost as with other venues!!!) and every time we visited the gardens were also totally immaculate thanks to Gary and his team. The oak beams in both the ceremony room and reception area are particularly stunning - it feels so natural and the lighting can be changed to suit any style. The barn reception area fitted our 120 guests comfortably on round tables that were set out ready for us to decorate the day before. There are also beautiful outdoor festoon lights everywhere that made it feel so romantic and magical after sunset. The caterers (Coast & Country) come with the venue hire and all of our guests commented on how good the food was - we chose canapés and the 3 course wedding breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for the chefs, they made an outstanding set meat menu, an entire vegan menu and also catered to GF guests. Natalie was our "on the day coordinator" - but she was so much more than that! Throughout our planning process she was always there if we needed anything, easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding, prompt at responding to our many questions via email and helped us to bring all of our fun ideas to life. She made sure during our final meeting that all the timings were clear and went through every detail with us to make sure we had everything we wanted. Natalie met us the day before once we had finished setting up to have a "rehearsal" which was amazing as we felt so much more relaxed knowing what would happen during our ceremony (which was lead by a council registrar) - it was also great for my little flower girls to have a practice walking down the aisle! On the day we felt like the guests of honour as Natalie had everything in hand. She helped guide our guests to different areas of the venue and made the whole day feel smooth and effortless. I'm sure she did so much more behind the scenes and I loved her dedication to a good spreadsheet! The next day we had a BBQ in the beautiful gardens and invited all of our guests back for more. The heated outdoor pool was definitely a hit as well as the children's play park.

We got married at Humber Barn in June, and from the very beginning Sammy completely understood the vision we had for our day – calm, relaxed, and full of candid moments. She absolutely delivered! We had around 160 guests, which is no small task to manage, but everything ran so smoothly. The team had everything under control, and nothing ever felt stressful. The food was incredible – the hog roast was to die for – and so many of our guests commented on how amazing it was. The staff were fantastic too; nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made everyone feel so welcome. Our day was everything we hoped it would be and more. So many of our family and friends have said how much they loved the venue, the atmosphere, and the food. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to help make our wedding day so special. Thank you, Sammy, and everyone at Humber Barn, for giving us the most amazing day. We would recommend you to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue!

The barn is a beautiful flexible space with amazing views. Anastasia was so friendly and helpful at every stage, answering all our questions about setup/planning/working with caterers etc, then helping the plan come together including a walk through and then being on hand all day for the actual celebration. There are options to have the ceremony inside or outside, depending on the weather, and loads of space both inside and out. Excellent bar area and catering kitchen, spotless loos and a solid access road. Great value too.

We looked at a huge number of venues before choosing Valleyside Barn, and it was absolutely the right decision. The venue is stunning in its own right, with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces that gave us the perfect foundation to create exactly the wedding we had imagined. Even after decorating it ourselves, we knew it only looked as incredible as it did because the venue itself is already so beautiful. One of the biggest reasons we chose Valleyside Barn was the exclusive use across the whole weekend, and we can't recommend this enough. Having Friday to set everything up with our family and friends, the wedding on Saturday, and Sunday to pack everything away made the whole experience feel relaxed instead of rushed. The on-site glamping was another huge benefit, allowing our closest family and wedding party to stay nearby so everything ran smoothly and there was always someone on hand to help if needed. The communication throughout the planning process was exceptional. Emma always replied incredibly quickly with detailed, thoughtful answers that made planning so much easier. No question ever felt too small, and it was always clear what would happen, when it would happen, and what we needed to do next. That level of organisation gave us so much confidence throughout the planning process. On the wedding day itself, Emma's coordination was outstanding. She kept everything running seamlessly behind the scenes, making sure suppliers and guests were exactly where they needed to be at the right time. Because everything was so well organised, we never had to worry about logistics and were simply able to relax and enjoy our wedding, knowing everything was completely under control. Our guests have all commented on how beautiful the venue was, and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding. Thank you to Emma and the whole Valleyside Barn team for helping make it such a perfect and unforgettable weekend. We would recommend Valleyside Barn without hesitation.
