The Anran team are fantastic from start to finish. The site comes in fantastic shape from the amazing glasshouse to the beautiful rooms in the farm house and the courtyard. There is an array of further options and rooms to use and a massive handpicked list of suppliers that they provide who know the site inside out and provide everything you need for the dream day. The church is super pretty and just a short walk away and the Vicar is also amazing. Thanks guys!

We had an amazing wedding reception and evening party at The Old Barn, Clovelly in April 2025. From the moment we first saw the venue, we knew it was exactly where we wanted to celebrate our special day. It’s simple yet beautiful — a perfect blank canvas that allowed us to add our own personal touches. We chose to decorate the venue with simple tulips, and it turned out just how we had imagined. The magical lighting and stunning location made everything feel so special and intimate, while allowing our guests to relax and enjoy the day with us. Joss and Jaqui, the wedding organisers, were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond to help us and our guests, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that we had everything we needed. All of the team at The Old Barn were amazing — so helpful and genuinely felt like they loved being part of our special day. For our reception meal, we chose Devon Hog Roast, recommended by the venue — and they didn’t disappoint. The food was incredible, and their team was so friendly and professional. We also had their horse box setup, which looked fabulous at the venue. For dessert, we had Bronuts from Thorne’s Delights, which were absolutely delicious. In the evening, we used Margaret Brown Caterers, and they were a big hit with all of our guests. It was wonderful to have a venue that allows such flexibility with catering — it really helped us make the day our own. One of the evening highlights was the dodgems — such a great decision! They weren’t just a hit with the children; the adults had an amazing time too. The staff running the ride were so cheerful, helpful, and added even more fun to the night. We also had an amazing DJ in the evening — BGM DJs — and they helped us party the night away! We couldn’t have asked for a better day. The Old Barn gave us the perfect setting to create memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you, The Old Barn!
