We chose Pirzwell Barn for our autumnal wedding, and it was, without a doubt, the best decision we could have made. The setting is absolutely magical, surrounded by beautiful trees and panoramic views of the countryside that stretch for miles. It was the perfect backdrop for our cosy, autumn celebration, and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how stunning the venue was.

What sets Pirzwell Barn apart is the incredible flexibility it offers. We had complete freedom to make the day truly our own, from choosing our favourite food vendors and setting up the tables exactly how we wanted, to including farm animal entertainment (which our guests loved!). This level of personalisation was so important to us.

Anastasia and the team were simply brilliant. As a couple who didn’t know much about wedding planning, the process could have felt overwhelming, but they made everything so easy. They were organised, proactive, and solved any issue before it became a problem. Their support took all the stress off our shoulders, allowing us actually to enjoy the planning process.

Our guests continue to tell us that it was the best wedding they've ever attended, which is a massive testament to Pirzwell Barn's atmosphere and excellent coordination. I would wholeheartedly recommend this venue to any couple seeking a beautiful, flexible, and supportive space to celebrate their special day. My wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Pirzwell Barn on the 25th of August 2025, and we were absolutely overjoyed with how everything went. The barn is a big, beautiful space and the views are stunning! Pirzwell Barn is the ideal space for anyone who wants to put their personal touch on their own wedding, you have the perfect foundation to make your vision for your day come to life. The on site facilities are great, with a walk in fridge, preparation space and bar making it easy for both a DIY event, or ready for vendors to use. The toilets are spacious, clean, and well decorated- we had a lot of rave reviews for the men's in particular, but I think you need to see it for yourselves! There is ample parking for both guests and vendors, and providing people actually follow the What3words location, it is very easy to find. The real gem of the whole operation is Anastasia, she is an absolute star! She went above and beyond throughout the planning process, all the way up to the big day. Anastasia walked us through the order of our day and helped us to fill in the gaps where we just weren't sure how things would work, she was there to greet and direct the vendors and guests, and she was there at all those important moments to make sure everything ran smoothly. Anastasia, her husband James and father in law Dave were so helpful with setting up the hanging decorations we had in the top of the barn, and just helping advise us with the logistics of how and where we wanted aspects of our set up to go. Our guests couldn't get over how beautiful the barn and the views are and, most importantly, we were able to enjoy our wedding day without stress. Thank you so much, we had the best day!

We had a wonderful wedding at Pirzwell Barn in June 2025. We fell in love with the barn the moment we saw it, not only because of its stunning 360 views of the Devon countryside, but also because of the versatility of the indoor space and the freedom that the venue provided.

Throughout the planning process, Anastasia and the team were helpful, responsive and generous with their time and recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble in the lead up or on our wedding day itself. Anastasia and the team made sure that we had the most special day, and one we will remember forever. We had the most incredible wedding reception at Pirzwell Barn. Anastasia and the team made the day run seamlessly and the barn is just stunning.

From the very beginning to end communication was brilliant. Anastasia was always quick to respond, supportive of our ideas and vision, and really made us feel like we were in safe hands. The space is very versatile and as we wanted to DIY everything the barn enabled us the freedom to make it our own. 

On the day itself, we didn’t have to worry about anything as all the little details were taken care of behind the scenes and we had so many compliments from guests about how beautiful the barn and views were. There were lots of photo opportunities around the barn and down at the ponds which gave us beautiful backdrops for our professional photos. 

Pirzwell barn gave us the dream wedding we have always wanted and we would 100% recommend to anyone looking to have a country barn wedding! Thank you all so much!

We Have just gotten married here, Anastasia has been absolutely amazing, through letting us view it multiple times, quick responses to any question we had and helping us whenever needed. Then on the day she went above and beyond, from helping set up, keeping everything organised and on time all the way through to helping tidy up at the end. She made our day that bit extra special and will be forever grateful.
