Exmouth Country Lodge is a wedding venue in Exmouth, Devon, on the outskirts of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and minutes from the Jurassic Coast. Situated within the Prattshayes Campsite, formerly known as Prattshayes, the property once belonged to the family of Sir Francis Drake. The history of the place and the natural beauty of its surroundings make Exmouth Wedding Venue a uniquely magnificent setting for an unforgettable wedding celebration.
Facilities and Capacity
Exmouth Country Lodge is a licensed wedding venue with several event areas. The Orchard is a perfect setting for a romantic outdoor ceremony. It has a lovely pagoda; couples are also welcome to use the site for daytime festivities. The Cob Barn, which dates back to the 16th century and is perfect for intimate ceremonies. The reception barn is a versatile space with fixed bars, a cosy lounge mezzanine, and plenty of character. The large Courtyard is the perfect gathering area and a great place to enjoy welcome drinks. Exmouth Country Lodge can seat 100 wedding breakfast guests; its capacity increases to 250 for the evening reception. The venue provides overnight accommodation for 28 guests. We have a campsite next door that you or your guests can book.

Perfect venue for a perfect day
The value for money here is insane. You get full use of the venue, including a wide range of decorations free to use and not just flowers - card boxes, vases, photo walls, table runners, fairy lights, plates, cutlery etc.
A wedding coordinator, Anita, who is fabulous and such a lovely lady. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She understood the vibe we were going for and dressed the entire venue for us before we had even arrived, including fresh flowers on every table. We just had to add our own finishing touches! I forgot a whole centrepiece for our top table and Anita ran out and got everything needed to make one.
You get the choice to marry in the beautful ceremony barn or outside in the orchard and even though the weather was gorgeous I was so glad we chose the barn. It was a stunning place to hold our ceremony and was dressed absolutely beautifully.
You get full use of the cottage and lodge accommodation from friday to Sunday. All very clean and the perfect place to get ready for your big day and get those pre wedding photos. Very comfy clean beds, kitchen with everything you need, clean showers and toilets.
The grounds are absolutely beautiful, well maintained and very clean with seating outside which our guests made the most of during our cocktail hour and into the evening.
A fully stocked bar with a great selection of beers, ciders, spirits and cocktails, all pretty reasonably priced.
Every single one of our guests commented on how gorgoeus the venue was.
Over all a very happy bride and groom. I would recommend this place 1000% times over.

Beautiful, rustic and relaxed, this place doesn’t need much as it really speaks for itself, especially the ceremony barn💗.
From start to finish Anita was wonderful, and she made sure the day ran smoothly, limiting stress and making sure the place looked beautiful. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
