Hey, I’m Anna! I'm an intimate documentary style wedding photographer in Surrey. I love to travel, make people laugh and bond with madly-in-love couples over a glass of red wine and pizza.
Alternative weddings and quirky couples are my jam!
I love the different, the personal, the unique, the slightly non-traditional. And I love capturing images that express who my couples are, images I know you will treasure for years and years and years.
Using relaxed and playful prompts instead of strict posing, I will keep you laughing and (believe me!) looking like total naturals, rocking your photographs like you are already pros :-)
Choosing me as your wedding photographer, you can expect to feel loved and looked after! I will be with you all the way from the exciting “we just got engaged!” to the meaningful “I do”, helping you with tips throughout your wedding planning journey to make it an easy-breezy, FUN experience.
Let's get this party started!
Frequently Asked Questions:
How much do you charge?
On average, my couples invest £1650-£2200 in their wedding photography. This, at minimum, includes;
You'll also have the option to add on a second shooter and/or a wooden memory box (includes a USB and 30 prints).
What services do you offer?
What style of photos do you take?
My photography style is laid back, focused on in-between moments and full of emotion. I've also made it my mission to capture my couple’s stories in a way that celebrates their unique connection and personalities.
This means I lean more towards a documentary approach, but some aspects of the day will be slightly more structured. For example, I love styling your details (dress, shoes, rings, invitations, etc) to make sure those are not forgotten, and I also enjoy getting a little bit more creative with portraits and groups.
How do you work on the day?
Well, you can think of me almost like a bridesmaid with a camera. I'll always be nearby to capture genuine moments as they happen. And while I'll use a variety of different photographic techniques to best do so, I'll also bring my sparkliest smile to make sure everyone I meet feels comfortable and relaxed.
Will you do group photos of us and our family?
Yes, for sure! I think it's so important to have a photo of you with some of the most valuable people in your life. To limit the amount of time we spend on these photos though, I usually suggest sticking to 10 groups or less. I'll send you my most popular group combinations but you're more than welcome to come up with your own.
How far in advance should we contact you?
Ideally 6-12 months.
Are you able to travel?
I was made for travelling!
What is the charge for travelling?
100 miles of travel is included in all full-day collections. If you are further than 50 miles away, I will also book myself into a hotel the night before your wedding, minimising the risk that I'll get stuck in traffic en route and giving you one less thing to worry about.
If your wedding is further afield, we can look at and discuss travel costs together!
What kind of equipment do you use?
The best! Two full-frame Nikon with double SD card slots (continually backing up so no shot is accidentally lost!), prime lenses, a softbox on-camera flash if needed, and my beloved MacBook Pro with Lightroom and Photoshop for editing.
Do you offer an option to display the photos online?
Yes. You'll gain access to your very own online viewing gallery. You can share this with friends and family, and anyone with the download PIN code will be able to download the images (either as a full set or individually).
What's the delivery time?
Do you send all the photos taken?
No. I believe part of the service is going through the process of eliminating unflattering photographs from your gallery.
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
I often work alone but I am also part of a small tight-knit community of other wedding photographers. If you book a second shooter as part of your wedding photography collection, these are the people I'd choose between. I love and trust every single one of them :-)
In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?
Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?
Photographs are a bit of a grey-zone when it comes to GDPR. On the one hand, they contain personal information (your faces) but on the other hand, they are also a direct representation of my work and artistic talent. To stay on the safe side and make everything crystal clear, my wedding photography contract has a GDPR section in which you will need to indicate how I am able to use your photographs.
I'm very grateful that nearly all of my couples give me full use; they understand that the success of my business depends in large part on my ability to showcase new work.
If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?
Yes for sure :-) Each additional hour is charged at £200.
What are the forms of payment?

Such Beautiful Photographs
Anna is not only a joy to work with, but she is also an incredibly talented photographer. She captured all the details of the day perfectly, and then some! Anna was polite and friendly from the start making the whole booking process easy and stress-free. Before during and after Anna always had excellent communication with us and we received a preview photo the next day (which was stunning)!Sent on 30/01/2018
