Trading as "Big Day Weddings" we are David and Joanna Green a 'hitched' couple ourselves :-) For the past fifteen years we've had a fantastic time working with brilliant couples documenting their wedding days across London, the home counties, and some interesting European destinations too. We're Time Out Recommended and have won our fair share of photography awards along the way including Hitched Winners 2024 & 2005.
All our prices and packages are listed on our website and also here on Hitched in the Deals/Offers section, as everything is upfront and straightforward, no silly sales pitches! We photograph in a typically candid and natural documentary style, with a touch of epic if that's your thing. We are full time and love what we do. We literally live in perpetual wedding land! Google as well as Hitched is full of reviews for us, so feel free to get in touch in any you feel comfortable, we are naturally very relaxed and friendly.
Finally, we listen intently to what you want from your big day, so we can capture your wedding your way first and foremost, and then bring some of our creative sparkle to the party too.

Excellent Experience
We were thrilled to have David as our wedding photographer for our small, intimate celebration in a converted farm barn on a sunny July day this year.
David’s friendly and supportive approach made everyone feel comfortable, even though we’re naturally shy, and he captured all the special moments beautifully.
His professionalism and warm demeanour added to the happiness of the day, and the photos turned out absolutely stunning, including some lovely ones with our dog Max.

Highly recommend!
Myself and My wife are so happy we chose David to photograph our wedding day. From our initial zoom meeting (as David lives an hour from us) to the final delivery of our wedding photos, every step was an absolute pleasure. He took the time to get to know us and understand what kind of photos that we wanted and really made us feel at ease. David has an amazing ability to make you feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, which allowed us to relax and truly enjoy our day. The final photos were amazing and there were so many, so we have lots of choice to edit and send lots to all our family and friends. All our guests also commented on how great he was and have said how stunning the photos turned out.

Wonderful photography and wonderful photographer.
David was fantastic and we are so glad we went with him for our wedding day. The entire process from start to finish was so easy. He was extremely personable and understood exactly the style of photos and tone we wanted for the day. He put all our guests at ease and we strongly recommend him for any celebration

Fantastic!
David was our wedding photographer and he was absolutely fabulous! Super professional, there was great communication leading up to the event and we felt so taken care of and reassured. David arrived early on the day to scout out the venue and capture all the decorations, and then when the wedding began he was so upbeat, he knew exactly how to make different groups of guests relax and smile/laugh for the photos and he seemed to somehow be everywhere all at once! We have been sent over a thousand stunning photos with each of our guests captured and it's such an incredible gift! We are spoilt for choice! Seriously, I couldn't recommend David enough as a wedding photographer. Look no further!

We love our Photos!
As soon as we met David on line we knew he was the perfect photographer for our wedding. He understood immediately our ideas and how we imagined our photos would be and as importantly he made us feel entirely at ease with him. On the day he was there early to meet both of us having spent time searching for prime spots in the grounds for the best photos to be taken. Professional, personable, fun, interactive and inclusive of all the guests doesn’t do justice to how good he really is!! Thank you David for the major part you played on our day. The photos are absolutely brilliant !!

Fantastic Experience
