Actually, I worked with her twice: first time for my real wedding (in the church) which happened during COVID and was an official ceremony, rather than anything else. The second time, on the other hand, was when we had a proper celebration and I had a real silk wedding dress. On both occasions, Katsuko was very professional and had a great attention to detail. It was a pleasure to work with her. Thank you, Katsuko, for making my BIG day so special!

I found Angelica Bridal Curve around January 2025, whilst searching for plus size shops where dresses would actually fit me. Being in London already, this seemed perfect for me, and I decided to go along to a sample sale in March as this would suit my budget better. I had Millie as my stylist and she was so sweet and so understanding, I didn’t once feel uncomfortable (which is difficult when you are self conscious of your body and don’t have much confidence!). She let my niece and I pick a range of dresses to try, and was helpful in adding sleeves to some of my choices as I wanted my arms covered. She was professional and also honest, and bounced off of the feelings from my family and how we all felt about the dresses. I knew I didn’t want to go anywhere else - I was happy, confident, found a waist I didn’t know I had! and after trying 4 dresses, Millie said to put the very first one back on and this was the one we all loved! The service continued with explaining the process of dry cleaning, and collecting the dress, and even recommending somewhere for the alterations. All in all it was a great experience and I would 10/10 recommend Angelica Bridal Curve to any other plus size brides out there! The only 1 thing we didn’t get… was the glass of fizz that was promised at my appointment! But in the great scheme of things, it wasn’t the reason for being there. Exclusive Alterations came recommended by the shop I bought my dress from, Angelica Bridal Curve, and they were perfect for my alteration needs. They listened to the changes I wanted to make to my dress, and were friendly and professional through every appointment. Special thanks to Toshika (sorry if I’ve spelt that wrong!) my seamstress - she seemed quiet and shy on the first appointment but by my second and third appointment we were laughing and having a great time and she always made me feel comfortable and looked after!

Cynthia's expertise in custom wedding gowns and her unmatched craftsmanship ensure that every dress is perfectly tailored to suit each client’s unique personality, body, and style. Her brides are truly lucky to work with a designer of such exceptional talent. I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn from Cynthia, especially about the luxury bridal market. I sincerely hope that one day, Cynthia will design my own dream bridal gown.

Sabina was amazing from start to finish! Her knowledge of dressmaking and the beautiful materials she uses are second to none, and I felt completely at ease in her hands. She went above and beyond to make sure I was thrilled with every detail of my dress, sharing so many helpful tips along the way. I couldn’t recommend her more highly to any bride looking for a timeless, elegant gown. Sabina truly made the whole experience unforgettable ☺️

Evelie was the 3rd bridal shop (of 6) that we visited and from start to finish it was the best experience! The dresses were gorgeous, the videos and pictures that Francesca took were so so helpful, and the space was very relaxing (a major plus during this potentially stressful time!) I also used the in-house seamstress Marie for my alterations and she was ACE. So lovely to work with and did such a beautiful job! Highly recommend visiting Evelie to find a dress!

The Boutique is a gorgeous bridal shop with a great selection of dresses. Not only this, but they helped me customise my dream dress, with their talented in-house seamstress creating a bespoke detachable train which was a real show stopper. I ended up with a dress that was totally unique and exactly as I envisaged. Couldn't recommend more highly - thank you girls! x

The Marcela Giocanti Bespoke bridal experience is nothing short of amazing from start to finish, the team are phenomenal and experts in their field! This is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience and they make it so unique from the start of your appointment all the way through with friendly, style advice, a comfortable design studio atmosphere with plenty of perfect finishing touches to play with. I loved every aspect of designing my bespoke dresses with an amazing team of talented couture seamstresses that fitted me perfectly for my wedding gown, first dance dress, reception dress and custom cathedral veil. I admire that the brand celebrates each bride's unique sense of style and individual body type. They were there every step of the way and kept in constant communication with me during the selection of fabrics, fitting schedules, to designing the final accessories to finish my look. Marcela Giocanti Bridal Atelier is really the best place to come design your perfect dream dress in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

I purchased from Vaai when they were starting out and I couldn’t recommend it more. The bespoke service, tailoring and quality of the outfits were second to none. Such an amazing brand with a very professional and talented creative director!
