  The best in the business

  If you are looking for a wedding photographer who can gracefully manage a wedding party, charm your relatives, and still somehow make you look like the best version of yourselves on the most chaotic, wonderful day of your life, then David is your guy. Truly, we are convinced he has unlocked some sort of secret life skill the rest of us weren’t taught.
  
  From the very beginning, David showed up with the perfect blend of professionalism and personality. He’s the type of person who can walk into a room and instantly have everyone—yes, even the camera-shy ones—laughing, relaxed, and ready to be photographed without looking like startled deer. His humor is quick, effortless, and exactly what you need when you’re trying to wrangle a bridal party running on adrenaline, hairspray, and about three hours of sleep.
  
  What really amazed us was how seamlessly he managed the flow of the entire day. Somehow, without ever seeming rushed or stressed, he kept everything on schedule—no small feat when you have relatives wandering off, shoes breaking, bouquets mysteriously disappearing, and the general chaos that comes with a wedding. David navigated it all like he had been given an advanced degree in wedding management. He was the calm in the storm, the voice of reason, and occasionally, the comedian who kept us sane.
  
  And then… the photos. The photos.
  David didn’t just capture moments; he captured personalities, emotions, and all the candid bits that made our day uniquely ours. Every picture feels like a living memory—authentic, warm, and beautifully composed without ever feeling forced. He has an incredible eye for detail and an uncanny ability to catch the in-between moments that end up becoming your favourites. We’ve looked through our gallery more times than we’d like to admit, alternating between laughing, crying, and saying, “How did he even get that shot?”
  
  What sets David apart is that he doesn’t just show up with a camera—he shows up with heart. He genuinely cares about the couples he works with, and it shines through in every interaction and every photo. By the end of the night, he felt less like a vendor and more like a friend who just happened to take ridiculously good pictures.

  Truly amazing wedding photographers

  We received our wedding photos that David and Joanna took, we love every single photo, slide show of our magical day. They captured the love, excitement, laughter and several happy tears, a picture can say a million word and they captured them. David and Joanna made us feel at ease and David jokes had us giggling away.

  Fun Experience and Great Photos!

  We really enjoyed working with David, Joanna and Rory for our wedding! The pictures are fantastic - he managed to make us and all our guests look great without ever telling anyone to smile or say cheese. He had great energy throughout the day, and kept everyone laughing. We are so happy with how all the pictures turned out!

  You won’t regret booking Big Day Weddings!

  We considered not having a photographer at our wedding, but ultimately thought we might regret it, so began a search for someone who we felt would capture our day the way we wanted and not blow the budget. By chance, we found David at Big Day Weddings, who offered a 4 hour session and had a load of photos that we liked the look of, so we booked him. We had a couple of Zoom meetings with David who was just great, we ended up chatting with him like we’d known him for years. We explained what we did / didn’t want from the photos and he really listened! On the day, he did convince us to do a few shots that were more posed than we might have chosen ourselves but as it turns out, they are our favourite ones and we’re so glad we went along with his vision and expertise!
  
  If you want a someone who takes notice of what you want, but can gently nudge you to step out of your comfort zone, David is the photographer for you. This quirky, characterful man left us with zero regrets for booking him and has provided us with some really precious moments captured forever.

  Thank you David!

  David was our photographer for our October Town Hall/ Restaurant reception wedding and we are so very pleased with the results! Spoke a couple of times before the big day to make sure we were all on the same page with the kinds of photos we were hoping for and on the day itself David did a really good job of rallying everyone for the more formal photos as well as moving around our guests to get the more candid natural shots. David sent us all of the photos taken on USB and CDs in both original large image quality and reduced more shareable quality which has been very helpful - for quick sharing but also for printing high quality wedding photos as Christmas gifts to our families (which they loved!). Looking forward to creating our wedding album with these beautiful images, thank you again!! K & A

  Just Amazing

  One of the best decisions I have made in my adult life was doing just that! I love my wedding photos and videos. Every little request was met with a smile and I feel like we were always heard and listened to. Thank you for an amazing day and your amazing work.   We couldn’t be happier with the photography services provided by David on our wedding day. Not only is he talented, but he’s also reasonably priced. Leading up to the event, he was a great communicator, making sure everything was planned perfectly, and he kept the mood light and fun with his sense of humor.   Captured every moment beautifully - highly recommend

  We had the pleasure of having David cover our wedding in August 2025, booking his half-day package after first meeting him about 18 months prior. The booking process was smooth and straightforward.
  
  From our initial meeting, we loved David’s vibrant energy and engaging personality. He took the time to get to know us, asking thoughtful questions to understand our vision for the day. He clearly explained his approach and what we could expect, which gave us great confidence. We wanted a blend of formal group shots and natural in-the-moment captures, which David captured brilliantly.
  
  On the day, David arrived on time and immediately began capturing natural, heartfelt moments as our guests arrived. He moved through the space with ease, blending nicely into the celebration. He was incredibly accommodating with our requests for various photo groupings and also lovely shots that resulted in some of our favourite shots.
  Despite it being one of the hottest days of the year, David’s energy and focus never wavered. He was consistently professional, enthusiastic, and attentive throughout.
  The final photos are perfect — they brilliantly reflect the joy and spirit of our special day. They were everything we hoped for and more.
  
  David was the perfect photographer for our wedding, and we’re so grateful to have had him capture our special day.
