Wedding Photographers in South West - England

Nicky photographed our wedding back in May and was absolutely amazing. I hate having my photo taken generally and much prefer to be taking photos but Nicky made us both feel at ease. Nicky's style of photos is absolutely beautiful and really captured the colourfulness of our wedding and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for everything on the day and after!

Linus photographed out August 2025 wedding in Shaftesbury and we couldn't be happier with choosing to book him! Linus replied to our initial enquiry really quickly and we were reassured in our first meeting that he was highly reliable and professional. In addition there was real clarity over pricing through his website as well as a wide range of previous work to look at, which made us confident in our choice. On the day Linus captured so many beautiful and fun moments, featuring all our lovely guests and our pet dog ring bearer! His catch up with us before the day and calm presence on the day helped the whole thing feel really relaxed. We also had the whole set of photos back less than 3 weeks after the wedding which was much quicker than we expecting for such a large, high quality set of photos. All our friends and family have commented on how wonderful the photos are and we are so happy to have such beautiful captured moments to look back on.

Kevin was great on the day, he directed us really well and got we got some great photos to remember the day. The photos came back really quickly with over 600 photos in the gallery.

We first met Tom and Murray when they were the photographers for our friends’ wedding, before my husband and I were even together. I knew then that if I ever got married they were who I wanted to photograph my wedding. We met again a few years later when they did another friends’ wedding and they made sure to come and catch up with us all. Not only do they produce the most stunning photos, using innovative techniques and amazing creativity, they are the nicest people who made us (two people who don’t like being centre of attention) feel completely relaxed. Tom and Murray’s friendly and warm personalities allowed them to integrate naturally with wedding guests, which gave us photos that truly show the spirit of the wedding. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture our day and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer in the Dorset area.

We honestly feel so lucky to have had Mark as our photographer for our wedding. He is very kind and has a warm personality, but is also very professional and knowledgeable, his experience shone through and he fit into our day perfectly! He helped us with any questions or requests we had and helped us all so much in the lead up, and on the day. He not only took photos for us, but went above and beyond with support on the day, one example of this, was with the grooms party getting ready (which was a massive job organising them in itself!). He kept them all calm and made sure they all looked brilliant. He was happy to accommodate with our requests and we are overjoyed with the photos we’ve received so far and cannot wait to see the rest, we are struggling to choose a favourite! Thank you so much Mark, I know if we ever do need a photographer again we will be back, and I would recommend Mark to anyone!

Alastair was recommended to us by our neighbour who had used his photography services for various occasions. Our first meeting took place at our house where we discussed all of the ideas we had and the styles we liked. We hit it off with Al instantly and knew we'd made the right choice. He's a super easy-going guy and totally flexible to fit in with your plans. He arrived at our wedding house early in the morning to capture our team sea swim on Perranporth Beach and everyone getting ready. He then stuck around all day, dancing late into the night with us (wearing silent disco headphones and covered in glitter). The photos (which arrived in our inbox in record time a few days later) were absolutely stunning and exactly what he had hoped for. We had a small number of posed pics, but the majority were amazing candid snapshots of joy and silliness. He also took some gorgeous photos of our toddler in a lavender field which we'll treasure forever. The photos of our barn silent disco look like they are out of a magazine! By the end, Al felt as much a wedding guest as some of our close friends. We are truly grateful for how he made us feel on the day and the pics we now get to remember it by. If you're thinking of hiring Al for your big day, just DO IT!

Even though our wedding day was a once in life time event (we hope!) we decided last minute to book a photographer as we only had a small group and had already been in our relationship for 20 years and we thought all our guests could all muck in and take pictures, how wrong we’re we! We cannot thank Charlotte enough for beautiful moments captured by her which we wouldn’t have had without her natural ability to take pictures of special friends & family at ease enjoying themselves as well has the formal arrangement pictures but with everyone relaxed. Really fabulous lady who we can’t recommend enough thank you Charlotte Mr & Mrs Miles, Kingston Estate, Totnes

Jiri did an amazing job, he was a fantastic photographer and made our day better with his support and guidance. We had an engagement shoot with Jiri that was really fun and the photos were amazing, as well as our big day, the photos are fantastic and he did everything he could to make sure the group photos were fun and not too overwhelming. 10/10 would recommend to others! Fantastic photographer and lovely person ☺️

Jon is awesome, very professional, kind and personable, easy to approach and fun. He was unflappable on the day and really enhanced our day. Love, love, love

Icarus Photography provided an outstanding service on the day. We had a number of locations around Bath we were keen to use. All of which they accommodated, while suggesting many more we wouldn't have thought of. Very friendly whilst also very professional. Images were received shortly after the photo shoot and we were very happy with the results. We would definitely recommend them
