We are not photogenic people we hate forced photos and always end up doing a bit of a 'Chandler Bing' so the fact that we have such wonderful photos of our wedding is a testament to Karls candid photography skills! He took the group photos we asked for as well as getting lots of people just enjoying the day! Thank you so much!

We got married at Leigh Court, a beautiful venue in North Somerset, in September. The venue is beautiful and the weather was perfect!

Karl Moriarty was our photographer for the day and started off at the bridal suite by capturing the bridal party preparing for the big day. He then travelled to the venue where he captured the arrival of the groomsmen and the guests, taking in the beautiful surroundings and the beautifully decorated Great Hall, before the ceremony took place.

Each step of the day was caught on camera, with candid images of the congregation really showcasing the mood and excitement of the event.

As arranged prior to the event, formal group and bride-groom photos were taken after reception drinks, which we would have liked Karl to have taken the lead on, but all were perfectly captured eventually.

More candid photographs were taken throughout the wedding breakfast and in particular, during the speeches. Karl wrapped up his day by capturing the evening entertainment, with shots of guests and the bridal party on the bouncy castle, having their caricature drawn and later, letting their hair down on the dance floor.

A high quality set of digital images were provided within a week of the wedding, including identical sets in colour and in black & white.

The cost of £850 came as something of a surprise initially, but after nearly 12 hours of photographing our special day, Karl's professionalism, patience and warm personality easily justified the expense.

I would recommend Karl as a photographer for any special event.

We would highly recommend Karl. We selected him because he specialised in producing natural/candid photos, rather than having lots of staged photos. He nailed the brief, producing us hundreds of lovely photos of us and our guests, all neatly delivered within a week of the wedding. He was responsive throughout the process, a really nice guy and a Beatles fan to boot - what more could you want!

We had a great experience with Karl he captured some lovely shots of our special day. One of my guests commented that Karl was so discreet and blended in during the day which put everyone at ease . Karl photographed our wedding back in 2019. The photos turned out incredible. We cannot recommend him highly enough. Such a lovely person and easy to communicate with. We especially loved the candid photos. Everytime we look back at our wedding pictures our emotions are high again as he captured the perfect moments. We always say if we ever do vowel renewals we'll book him again!

Karl was very responsive to all queries from booking, leading up to the day and after the wedding. He took the time to discuss timings and the photo shots we would like a few weeks before the wedding.
He arrived early and captured our day from getting ready in the morning through to the evening party. We received our photos by email link within a week and a beautifully presented USB not long after in the post. Karl captured all those special moments from the day and it was a pleasure to have him as our photographer.

Karl was the perfect photographer for our wedding at Stone Barn in the Cotswolds. His ability to suggest great poses and ideas for shots was a lifesaver for us, as we were feeling a bit lost. The result was an abundance of amazing photos that captured the essence of our day, including one shot with a stunning sunset that has garnered numerous "wow" comments from everyone who's seen it (I love it so much that it's prominently displayed in both my house and on my work desktop!). We hired Karl for our wedding this October 2022. Karl was super professional and friendly throughout the initial chats and on the day. He really captured the atmosphere of the day. The candid shots he captured made us smile and laugh when looking through them, they are a wonderful memory of the day.
