Ed Coleman Photography provides wedding photography services based out of Weymouth in Dorset, England.
With over 10 years experience, Ed specialises in photojournalistic and fine art styles, approaching each celebration of love with fresh, creative eyes. Even though Ed is based in Weymouth, he is willing to travel throughout Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset, Devon and Wiltshire to capture couples special day.
Services Offered
From first contact, Ed will guide you through the process leading up to the wedding day. This will include a free engagemnt photoshoot so that he can introduce himeself and so that couples get used to being in front of the camera.
When your big day finally arrives, Ed will blend in with your wedding party capturing each beautiful moment to cherish forever. He aims to remain close to the action but never intrusive, as he understands that being in the spotlight can be an intimate experience for some people. Above all, Ed will put your comfort first.
After your big day, you will receive a gorgeous presentation box containing a USB with all the images in colour and in B&W, and a selection of 6x4 prints. You will also recieve a link to a private online gallery which you can share with family and friends, where you can purchase products in a wide selction of styles including wedding albums, framed wall art, prints, to name a few.

How far in advance should I contact you?
To avoid disappointment, couples should contact me as soon as possible

What is the charge for travelling?
Charge for traveling outside Dorset is £0.35 per mile

My look is editorial and photojournalistic, recording your special day as it happens
What kind of equipment do you use?
I'm a Fujifilm shooter and will have a mixture of mirrorless XT series and Large Format GFX cameras, with genuine Fuji lenses to cover all occasions, using Godox flashes when required
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, i use Pixieset for my website, and Pic-Time for the customer galleries
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?
1 month

How do you charge extra time?
Extra time will be agreed with the couples at the ceremony, and an invoice will be sent shortly after the wedding
What are the forms of payment?
A 10% deposit is required to secure the date. The outstanding balance needs to be paid in full by the day of the wedding. Bank transfers or cheques are the preferred method of payment
How do you work?
I'm always close to the action but never intrusive as I understand that being in front of a camera can be an intimate experience for some people, so it's vital to me that you feel comfortable

The best wedding photographer
Ed took the photo's for our wedding and was fantastic, a real joy and asset to our day.
From the moment we booked him, Ed was courteous, friendly and very professional. Ed took the time and attention to really understand our requirements, and went out of his way on the day to deliver them.
Ed has a natural talent, not only for a good photograph, but making you feel at ease to really enjoy the experience.
We would 100% recommend Ed for any occasion as no request was too big or small and it's great to see the enjoyment someone has for their work shine through in the results.

Outstanding photography
Ed was a fantastic photographer for our winter wedding, his passion for photography shows in our photos. We FaceTimed with Ed prior to our wedding to discuss what sort of photos we would like and what would be happening, we also emailed so Ed knew what the schedule was to make sure we got all the photos we wanted, it was great! He also went to the pub prior to the wedding to ensure we got the best locations which was great so we weren't wondering where to go next for photos. He put us at ease being in-front of the camera and his passion, enthusiasm and quality of the photos are outstanding. We would highly recommend Ed to be your photographer to your wedding, the photos speak for themselves, thank you so much Ed!

Absolutely amazing!!!
Me and my husband (still feels strange to say) had our special day back in April and honestly it was perfect, just what we wanted!! I found Ed through hitched and he was so professional and friendly from the first meeting over FaceTime. Whenever there was a question, he was very quick to respond. Very professional on the day as well, took amazing photos (and gifted to us beautifully) and was very relaxed. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better and would highly recommend!!

Our Wedding

We are so happy we found him! Just perfect!
Myself and my new husband chose Ed from the moment we met him, he was so professional and down to earth, and just a really lovely guy!
On our wedding day he went above and beyond getting the perfect photos for us, from getting ready to the first dance. Myself and my husband often feel quite uncomfortable having our photo taken however Ed made us feel at ease, as well as his humourous nature, he made it fun! When we met Ed after the wedding to recieve our photos they were in the most beautiful wooden box, he had thought of every special detail, and as soon as I saw them I couldn't hold in the happy tears, he captured every moment, even some I'd already forgotten, they brought back every magical, special memory of our special day, still even now I get happy tears when I look at them!
We really cannot recommend him enough for being so lovely and his special talent, and for capturing our day, we are over the moon we found him!

Wedding day perfection!
From the moment we met Ed, when he visited our house to introduce himself and discuss package options, we felt extremely comfortable that we had chosen the right person to photograph our wedding.
Nothing was too much trouble and the pre-shoot, included in the price, to get some ideas of the shots we would like on they day was a fabulous little addition. All communication was professional and structured, allowing for a much smoother transitions on the day.
During the day he liaised with the venue and best man, so as not to bother us for organisation, allowing to us to enjoy our day to the fullest. He blended seamlessly into the background and half the time we didn’t know he was even there, taking candid natural shots of our guests (which has led to some hilarious photos too!)
We couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome and Ed visited our home a few weeks after the wedding and presented us with all the photos in Black & White, Colour and 3 small videos he had created on a USB stick for us to keep, along with a large wedding group photo.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND ED, TO ANYONE WANTING A KIND, POLITE AND ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL GENTLEMAN, TO CAPTURE YOUR DAY.
