Wedding Entertainment in South West - England

My wife and I couldn’t be happier that we chose David (DJ SolSouth) for our wedding! We booked him at short notice, but from the very first moment, he was professional, enthusiastic, and genuinely committed to making our day special. David took the time to understand our musical tastes, asking us about our favourite songs, the age range of our guests, and the genres of music everyone might enjoy. He also helped us choose the perfect first dance, creating a wonderful transition into the party and setting the tone for an amazing evening. As an international couple from Greece and England, we wanted music that would bring everyone together. David went the extra mile by researching Greek music alongside our other favourites, making sure both cultures were represented and that all our guests felt included. The result was an incredible night, with everyone dancing, smiling, and having a fantastic time. David didn’t simply play music; he created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration and made sure everyone felt part of it. We honestly couldn’t recommend DJ SolSouth more highly. If you’re looking for a DJ who genuinely cares about your event, listens to your wishes, and goes above and beyond to make it memorable, David is the one to book! Dan

Will was absolutely incredible at our wedding reception! His live caricatures brought the whole evening to life and were such a huge talking point – people are still talking about them now! His drawings were amazing, and so many of our guests genuinely thought he was the real deal from the moment he arrived. Not only is Will unbelievably talented, but he has so much charisma. He had everyone laughing with his jokes, chatting away to guests, and creating such a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Watching people’s reactions as they received their drawings was one of the highlights of the day! Will went above and beyond! My husband and I were too busy to have our drawing done on the day, so he kindly took a photo and drew our own drawing and sent it to us! It was amazing and we are getting it framed and keeping it forever! Every single guest loved it, and so many have told us it was one of the most memorable parts of our wedding. If you’re thinking about booking Will – do it! He was professional, entertaining, incredibly skilled, and made our reception even more special than we could have imagined. Thank you so much, Will! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Colin responded very quickly to my enquiry and was able to work around my timings for the day. He was very professional but also fun and very approachable. Even now still weeks later our guests are still talking about him. Would definatly recommend Colin

My husband and I booked Sebastian for our wedding with absolutely 0 regrets. From initial interaction, his replies were interested, fast, nice and helpful. He even confirmed everything a few days beforehand. On the day, he turned up on time and looking dapper. He gave my husband and I a personal trick which we still can't figure out how he pulled it off! Then went around to our guests amazing everyone. Kids and adults were loving him and he was a huge hit. Every time we saw him with guests everyone seemed happy and smiling. We would 100% recommend booking with Sebastian!

Chantel and her sister were absolutely amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Chantel is incredibly talented, and all of our guests were so impressed by her beautiful illustrations. It was such a lovely surprise seeing everyone receive their own personalised little keepsake from our wedding. 🥰 They absolutely loved it! 😍❤️ They were also so kind and thoughtful throughout the day. One of our guests even mentioned how lovely they were with their eldest daughter, who became a little overwhelmed during the wedding breakfast. They kindly helped look after her, which meant her parents were able to relax and enjoy the speeches. Such a thoughtful gesture! Honestly, having a live illustrator was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. It added such a unique and personal touch to the day, and all our guests loved it! Thank you so much, Chantel and your sister, for being part of our special day and making it even more memorable. We would absolutely recommend you both! ❤️🫶🏼💯💯

Ace mini golf was amazing, it was exactly what we saw in the pictures and videos, our guests loved it and it kept them entertained. The staff were lovely from the first email to the day of. It was good value for money too. We had ours in the day and although it was lovely it was a hot day and not as many people wanted to play, it would have been slightly better into the evening as our evening guests would have been able to enjoy it too, would be my only recommendation.

We booked Richard as the magician for our wedding in August after meeting him at a wedding a few years ago. We can’t recommend Richard enough - he is so talented, entertaining and lovely. His magic was perfect early evening entertainment after our wedding breakfast. He knew how to work the room and spoke to every single one of our guests, which didn’t go unnoticed. Our guests absolutely loved him and were blown away by his magic. When Richard did some card tricks, we thought it was a nice touch that he gave us one of the cards as a keepsake to remember the day by. Richard - it was wonderful to see you again, and we can’t thank you enough for giving us the perfect wedding day we always dreamed of ❤️

We booked Portable Putts in 2024 and weren’t disappointed! I did wonder why my (now) husband wanted mini golf but think it was the best thing we booked! Team were amazing! Set up was so quick and so easy to deal with. They had a leaderboard and make it such a fun activity! Would highly recommend them for your wedding! It created a great atmosphere and a great activity to do between the reception and the evening entertainment. Think at least everyone played one round. Thanks portable putts!
