Elliot Govier is known across the South West for his natural, story-driven wedding photography with an artistic edge. Whether your day unfolds in wild countryside, by the coast, or among beautiful gardens, his work captures the atmosphere and surroundings that make your wedding unique.
If Elliot is unavailable for your date, he’ll personally provide a free list of trusted photographers with a similar style (available via his website).

What does the wedding package include?
My full-day package tells the whole story — from morning prep to dance floor — with candid photos, portraits, and guest-shot memories using my included Party Cameras
How far in advance should I contact you?
I take bookings up to two years in advance, so it's best to contact me as soon as you've booked your venue. With that said, I will sometimes have last minute availability
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, everywhere! But mostly the South West
What is the charge for travelling?
For my full wedding package, there are no travel costs for anywhere in the south west (2.5 hours drive from TQ9). Beyond this area, I keep my travel fees fair and minimal

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
I blend cinematic composition with natural light and candid storytelling, using the landscape, weather, and emotion of the day to create images that feel timeless and alive
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use high quality, industry standard equipment including two Sony mirrorless cameras (which have a silent shutter, so no annoying camera noises during your ceremony!)
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, i provide a full high-resolution online gallery where you can download all photos for free within 1 month of the wedding
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?
2 months

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

How do you charge extra time?
On my full day wedding package, I have a fixed price and do not charge for extra time. For mini-weddings and elopements, I have an hourly rate
What are the forms of payment?
I take payment via bank transfer. I require a 20% deposit to secure your date. The remaining payments must be made at least one month before the wedding
How do you work?
Relaxed, natural, and storytelling. I blend into the background to capture the real energy of your day, offering gentle direction only when needed for portraits and group shots

The best photographer we could have asked for!
Honestly couldn’t have asked for any else from Elliott. We felt so comfortable and the photos are just beautiful. Would definitely recommend everyone go for the pre wedding photoshoot as it was the best way for us to get comfortable in front of the camera, and also get to know Elliot before the big day. We love him and his work so much we’ve already booked him for our wedding part-2 next year.

A memorable Day recorded to perfection.
We used Elliot for our wedding pictures. We were getting married in a country pub in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and wanted a relaxed day and not too formal with the photos. Elliot absolutely nailed it bringing the relaxed atmosphere into the photos and making the most of the environment we were in. He listened to us and delivered exactly what we wanted. He was also present for the stag day at York races and captured some really natural photos. I would highly recommend Elliot’s services.

A lovely first shoot
My Fiancé & I booked in our engagement shoot with Elliot, I was quite apprehensive and nervous as I hadn’t done anything like this before. Elliot communicated with us leading up to the shoot and was very organised.
As soon as we met up Elliot made us feel at ease getting to know us both more, he was very professional yet casual so it felt friendly and comfortable. He had some great ideas for the shoot and made it really fun. We had a great time despite it being in the pouring rain! This really emphasised Elliot’s potential.
