Wedding Photographers in Dorset

Linus photographed out August 2025 wedding in Shaftesbury and we couldn't be happier with choosing to book him! Linus replied to our initial enquiry really quickly and we were reassured in our first meeting that he was highly reliable and professional. In addition there was real clarity over pricing through his website as well as a wide range of previous work to look at, which made us confident in our choice. On the day Linus captured so many beautiful and fun moments, featuring all our lovely guests and our pet dog ring bearer! His catch up with us before the day and calm presence on the day helped the whole thing feel really relaxed. We also had the whole set of photos back less than 3 weeks after the wedding which was much quicker than we expecting for such a large, high quality set of photos. All our friends and family have commented on how wonderful the photos are and we are so happy to have such beautiful captured moments to look back on.

Ed is the best in the business, truly one of the greats! He was attentive but not over bearing, incredibly easy to collaborate with and an expert in what he does. His rates are incredibly reasonable and his taste in tweed suits is immaculate. Couldn't have asked for a better addition to the wedding team!

We had such a great experience with Monika Karas. Not only is she an amazing Dorset wedding photographer, but she’s also genuinely one of the nicest people we’ve met. She’s calm, friendly and so easy to talk to — the kind of person who instantly puts you at ease. We couldn’t have been happier with our photos, Rob captured the day beautifully and delivered exactly what we asked for. We met Rob for coffee to discuss our vision for the day, we wanted candid photos of our guests along with some specific group shots of family. We asked Rob to give our photos an overall darker aesthetic, as we were having an autumn wedding we wanted that so show. Rob did this beautifully without making the day look gloomy. I asked Rob to join us in the morning for some getting ready shots, he kept what could have been a stressful morning very calm and lighthearted. This ran through to the rest of the day, he mingled in with the wedding, but was always exactly where you needed him to be. You only get one chance to capture your perfect day, I highly recommend having Rob on your team to deliver exactly that.

James was a perfect choice for our wedding, very professional and produced some excellent stills. On the day James guided us through many moments we wouldn’t have captured otherwise. Highly recommend!

We found Ben via Hitched, and after seeing how beautiful his photos were we reached out to book with him. From our pre-wedding shoot to the wedding day Ben was amazing. He has such a friendly & patient manner, he made us all feel so at ease. Especially as the last half hour before the ceremony ended up a little chaotic, Ben stayed so calm and ensured we still got all of the shots. Can't recommend him enough, we were so pleased & surprised by how late he stayed to get those party photos. Thank you Ben!

We first met Tom and Murray when they were the photographers for our friends’ wedding, before my husband and I were even together. I knew then that if I ever got married they were who I wanted to photograph my wedding. We met again a few years later when they did another friends’ wedding and they made sure to come and catch up with us all. Not only do they produce the most stunning photos, using innovative techniques and amazing creativity, they are the nicest people who made us (two people who don’t like being centre of attention) feel completely relaxed. Tom and Murray’s friendly and warm personalities allowed them to integrate naturally with wedding guests, which gave us photos that truly show the spirit of the wedding. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture our day and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer in the Dorset area.

Paul was amazing on our wedding day we could not have asked for more. He made us feel so relaxed which just helped the day run even more smoothly. Our photos are absolutely beautiful and just show how great our day was. Paul was also a big hit with the guests. Firstly, sorry to Will for the time it has taken to write this review! From the very first meeting we had with Will, we felt so at ease and knew we had made the right choice. Will was just so relaxed and friendly. He explained everything well, which was a blessing because wedding planning was not my forte! Considering we got married bank holiday weekend in August, it absolutely tipped it down and I was a bit concerned at the start about how the day would go because we were getting married outdoors. Will was like a shoulder to lean on and it was like having a friend there with me instead of a photographer. Even during having my make up done, I was hungry (because of the nerves!) and Will walked to the shop for me in the torrential rain and got me a sandwich. He even bought some bits for my bridesmaids. Honestly, I could go on about how wonderful Will was. Not only was he incredibly professional, but he fit right in with everybody. The photos are absolute stunning and everybody loved the documentary style as it meant way less waiting around and completely natural photos. Thank you so much Will, you are an absolute star.
