Wedding Photographers in Dorset

Linus photographed out August 2025 wedding in Shaftesbury and we couldn't be happier with choosing to book him! Linus replied to our initial enquiry really quickly and we were reassured in our first meeting that he was highly reliable and professional. In addition there was real clarity over pricing through his website as well as a wide range of previous work to look at, which made us confident in our choice. On the day Linus captured so many beautiful and fun moments, featuring all our lovely guests and our pet dog ring bearer! His catch up with us before the day and calm presence on the day helped the whole thing feel really relaxed. We also had the whole set of photos back less than 3 weeks after the wedding which was much quicker than we expecting for such a large, high quality set of photos. All our friends and family have commented on how wonderful the photos are and we are so happy to have such beautiful captured moments to look back on.

We had such a great experience with Monika Karas. Not only is she an amazing Dorset wedding photographer, but she’s also genuinely one of the nicest people we’ve met. She’s calm, friendly and so easy to talk to — the kind of person who instantly puts you at ease. On the wedding day she felt more like a guest than a supplier, blending in naturally while still capturing everything. Her style is exactly what we wanted: relaxed documentary wedding photography with a soft editorial touch. The photos are beautiful, natural and full of real emotion. Our wedding photography gallery is everything we hoped for. If you’re looking for a UK wedding photographer with real talent and a lovely personality, we honestly couldn’t recommend Monika enough.

We asked James to join us in Bled, Slovenia as our wedding videographer. He was so so accomodating and more than happy to comply. The memories that he has been able to capture are incredible and so so special. We're so thankful to James and the work he put in, not to mention flying out with us! Thank you so much James, you have truly become a part of our family forever ❤️

Rob was brilliant through the whole process. He set time aside to meet at our venue before the day and talk through everything. On the day, he took a range of candid photos, all of which were an excellent quality. Would recommend to anyone asking for a wedding photographer!

Ed was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process from the moment we booked him until the day we were presented with our photos. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We had an initial call with him to discuss everything and then we arranged to have our "engagement shoot" as a chance to meet to get an idea of photos/poses for the big day. The experience was very relaxed and enjoyable. Ed remained in regular contact in the build up and everything was presented clearly to us with what he was going to to. Throughout the wedding day itself Ed was very organised and professional. Nothing was forced and he was able to catch the beauty of the day without being in the way. We received lots of positive comments from our guest that were talking with him for his politeness and professionalism. We recently met with Ed to receive our photos and we were so pleased with the outcome and presentation of these. The web galleries are very good and easy to navigate through should you wish to find specific images of people. Overall we highly rate Ed and thoroughly recommend him!! Firstly, sorry to Will for the time it has taken to write this review! From the very first meeting we had with Will, we felt so at ease and knew we had made the right choice. Will was just so relaxed and friendly. He explained everything well, which was a blessing because wedding planning was not my forte! Considering we got married bank holiday weekend in August, it absolutely tipped it down and I was a bit concerned at the start about how the day would go because we were getting married outdoors. Will was like a shoulder to lean on and it was like having a friend there with me instead of a photographer. Even during having my make up done, I was hungry (because of the nerves!) and Will walked to the shop for me in the torrential rain and got me a sandwich. He even bought some bits for my bridesmaids. Honestly, I could go on about how wonderful Will was. Not only was he incredibly professional, but he fit right in with everybody. The photos are absolute stunning and everybody loved the documentary style as it meant way less waiting around and completely natural photos. Thank you so much Will, you are an absolute star.

I don't know where to start, Ben was absolutely amazing throughout. Ben was friendly, professional and even offered us a complimentary engagement shoot which was lovely to get some practice in before the big day. On the day of the wedding Ben was an absolute expert at capturing all the big moments without being intrusive. The images we received back are absolutely beautiful and beyond anything I could have ever imagined. They are all full of character, love and authentic moments. He made every effort to get all the images we requested before he left and a lot of my guests have complimented how great he was on the day. Cannot sing his praises enough. Ben you've absolutely made our day and we will treasure these images forever. Thank you for everything, you are an absolute camera whizz.

We first met Tom and Murray when they were the photographers for our friends’ wedding, before my husband and I were even together. I knew then that if I ever got married they were who I wanted to photograph my wedding. We met again a few years later when they did another friends’ wedding and they made sure to come and catch up with us all. Not only do they produce the most stunning photos, using innovative techniques and amazing creativity, they are the nicest people who made us (two people who don’t like being centre of attention) feel completely relaxed. Tom and Murray’s friendly and warm personalities allowed them to integrate naturally with wedding guests, which gave us photos that truly show the spirit of the wedding. I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to capture our day and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer in the Dorset area.

We honestly couldn't reccomend Paul highly enough. From our first conversation, he was so friendly and immediately put us at ease so it was a very easy decision to go with him. In the lead up to our wedding, he was clearly so invested in giving us the best experience. On the wedding day itself, he was absolutely fantastic. Our family and friends were also very complimentary in saying how friendly and approachable he was. Paul made us feel very comfortable and gave us direction while still having plenty of space to enjoy our day. Both the photos and the video were stunning, and brought tears to our eyes. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer, there was absolutely nothing to criticise. We would wholeheartedly reccomend Paul to any couple who is looking to have someone perfectly capture their wedding day. Thank you so much for everything!

From the start Hannah has been amazing we met and chatted through everything even things i never thought to include or do which turned out great! You feel at ease with Hannah straight away she has such a calming presence and listens through everything you want captured on the day. Anytime i needed to speak to Hannah or ask a question she got back to me straight away , the wedding day itself went fantastic with the help of Hannah guiding everyone and making all the photos and group shots feel so chill and calm everything went effortless most of the day you didn't even realise she was there she just blended in so effortlessly which is what you want . Our photos are stunning we are beyond happy with every picture and shot. We also had our day recorded and its the best thing we ever did ! We had our video back today and we went through every emotion watching it back Hannah captured everything every smile ,laugh and emotion by us all its the best thing you will ever do! Booking Hannah for your day will be the best decision you will make for your wedding day and all the memories you want to relive after we cannot thank her enough x
