Hey, I’m Jake! I’m a wedding photographer with a relaxed, fun approach designed to make sure you and your partner feel at ease throughout your special day. Why? Because comfort is key, and comfortable couples make for the best photographs.
My photography style covers candid, documentary, and posed styles, so I beautifully capture the essence of the most important moments in your life. While I absolutely love snapping candid shots, those raw, emotional moments that take your breath away, I wouldn’t dream of leaving out a few fabulous posed photos. Posed photography can be just as fun, and I’ll guide you every step of the way, especially if you’re camera shy. Seeing shy couples beam with confidence is one of the best parts of my job.
My goal is simple: to tell your story with an exceptional level of service and stunning imagery.
We’ll meet a couple of times before your wedding to make sure we’re on the same page about everything you want. I’ll write it all down, so nothing gets missed, and I can take a lot of the strain from your shoulders. I promise to keep things fun and stress-free! We’ll have a laugh, share in the excitement, and maybe even discover your hidden werk-it vibes!

On top of that, he put together an absolutely incredible team for our day. They were so accommodating literally saying yes to every single idea and suggestion I had throughout the entire day, no matter what. They directed me perfectly through the entire day honestly, I wouldn't have known what I was doing without them!
The final photos are nothing short of incredible. He captured the raw emotion, the laughter, and the beauty of our day so perfectly. Looking through the gallery feels like reliving the best day of our lives. My groom couldn't get enough of posing
He was very reasonable with the package offered and joined us at our elopement wedding, juggling our 7 month old and having 2 gorgeous witnesses.
I thought I'd be lucky to get my groom to do 20 min of photos but Jake instantly clicked with him and we even snuck in some of the poses I'd secretly sent Jake to orchestrate.
Somehow Jake blended in without being seen but also gave us the most incredible couples photo experience that was full of laughter, silliness and romance. He read the room just right. We are looking forward to all the shots but know they will just be perfect.

Meet the team
Hello there! It's me, Jake!
What am I like as a person? Well I don't want to toot my own little trumpet, but I'm an extremely friendly person with (I hope) a great sense of humour, so I like to think I'm easy to get on with. If you're nervous about going in front of the camera, no worries, I'm patient, and will support you and help build your confidence up until you're strutting about like a catwalk model.
I'm all about making people feel confident and happy. If I wasn't a photographer I'd be working in the mental health field being a therapist or councillor. I myself have had severe mental health struggles in the past, so I know what it's like, and if you're going through it all on your wedding day then I can relate, I can help, and I can be patient. Thankfully now I've learnt to deal with my mental struggles!
I have also had testicular cancer, which I'm constantly going undergoing tests for to make sure it doesn't come back! So make sure you check your boobs n balls ladies and gentlemen!
But why am I telling you this in a photography bio? Well if you do end up reading this far down (thank you very much<3), it's to raise awareness, and it's to show can if you do struggle with bad mental health, you can beat it! And if you catch cancer early enough, you can beat that too!
