Based just outside Bath, Al Green is a relaxed, natural and documentary-led wedding photographer capturing beautiful weddings across the UK. When he’s not photographing celebrations, you’ll often find him exploring the countryside with his wife and daughter, usually with a camera close to hand.
His journey into photography began while studying fine art in Canterbury and Cardiff. It was there, developing black and white film in the darkroom, that he first discovered his passion for photography. He has always loved the way a photograph can instantly bring back a feeling, taking you back to a moment as if it happened yesterday.
Away from weddings, he enjoys being outdoors, walking, running, cooking and tending to the vegetables in his garden. These days, much of his time is happily devoted to his wonderful young daughter.
As a wedding photographer, his role extends far beyond creating beautiful images. Throughout the day, he provides a calm and reassuring presence, helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes so couples can relax, stay present, and fully enjoy every moment together. He considers himself incredibly fortunate to do a job he genuinely loves.
Alongside wedding photography, he also creates wedding films.

Unique and personal wedding photography
We were only after a few classic shots of me, best man and my family, but we what Al delivered was something truly unique and personal. He really captured the mood and essence of the day and emphasised some fantastic family moments before the mayhem of the day to come.

Hi, I'm Al! I'm a wedding photographer based near Bath, capturing beautiful weddings throughout the UK. My style is relaxed, natural and documentary-led, focusing on the honest moments that tell the real story of your wedding day - the laughter, happy tears, quiet glances and all the moments in between. I’m passionate about creating photographs that feel natural and timeless and transport you straight back to how your wedding day felt.

Living in Somerset means I’m lucky to have beautiful landscapes right on my doorstep, and I’m rarely without a camera close by.
