I’m Beata (Bea), an award-winning wedding photographer based in beautiful Bath, Somerset. With over 12 years of experience in the wedding industry, I’ve photographed couples from across the UK and around the world. I know Bath’s beautiful wedding venues really well and love being able to walk to local weddings, bringing a personal touch to every celebration.
I capture weddings naturally and thoughtfully, preserving the big moments, genuine emotions and little details that make your day uniquely yours.
I take time to get to know every couple, listen to your ideas, discuss the moments you’d especially love me to capture and ask about any special wishes for your day. Together, we’ll plan the photography timeline, and I’ll explain my approach so you know exactly what to expect and can look forward to your wedding with confidence.
I speak English and Polish, as well as some Hindi, Italian and Russian, helping me connect with couples and guests from different cultures and backgrounds.
On your wedding day, I bring a calm, friendly and supportive presence, helping you and your guests feel comfortable while capturing genuine smiles, happy tears, laughter and meaningful moments as they unfold.
You’ll receive a selection of preview photographs within a few days, followed by your complete, beautifully edited gallery within the agreed timeframe.
My goal is to make your photography experience enjoyable, personal and seamless, giving you beautiful memories to treasure for a lifetime.
I photograph weddings across Bath, Bristol, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. I’d love to hear about your plans and help tell your unique love story.

What is the charge for travelling?
There is no charge for travel to weddings within Bath, Bristol, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds & Somerset. For weddings further afield, I would need to charge 45p/mile, plus accommodation

An amazing photographer!
Beata was brilliant. When we booked her for our wedding we also got an engagement shoot too which was great as my husband and I don't normally like getting our photos taken but we had the opportunity to feel comfortable with Beata and love her style of photography and the way she makes you feel comfortable and happy when you are having your photo taken and she also takes fantastic photos when you don't even realise it too! I would recommend her as we loved having her as part of our big day, as did my whole wedding party, she went above and beyond to get the photos we wanted. She is always responsive to emails, sends images on time and we absolutely love the engagement and wedding photos we received!

It's a yes to this protograhper
Beata was the perfect photographer for our wedding! We needed someone at quite notice, Beata was very responsive and flexible from the start. She brought so much energy and a great sense of humour, which made everyone feel relaxed. She blended in with our guests so naturally and had a lovely personal touch with everyone.
We're definitely not people who enjoy posing, at the same time, we wanted to have something to remember from the wedding. She guided us through it so well, and looking at the photos now, it was absolutely worth it. She also handled our mix of Polish and English-speaking guests brilliantly, which was really important to us.

A perfect day, captured beautifully!
We asked Beata for documentary style wedding photography at The Guildhall, The Architect and The Bird, our three venues in Bath. From the first discussion, we knew we had found our perfect wedding photographer. Bea is responsive and brings lots of creativity and structure to the table. Quite simply, we are delighted with our amazing wedding album which captured every aspect of our special day. Bea’s work is very high quality and we can’t recommend Bea highly enough!

Fantastic service and professionalism
Beata helped us celebrate our big day with professionalism, fun and enthusiasm which both us and our guests were grateful for.
Nothing was too much trouble and she ended up going above and beyond our expectations in terms of the number of photographs sent to us and time spent with us on the day.

Excellent friendly photographer
Beata was amazing, friendly and professional. She managed to achieve beautiful photos of our wedding Bath even with my daughters tantrums! We had a meeting with Beata a few months before the wedding to discuss what we wanted so that she knew what to do on the day. She was very focused and keen to give us the photos that we wanted, I couldn't recommend her enough :)

Beata is a true professional!
Beata is an incredibly talented photographer who went above and beyond for our wedding. Her attentive approach to our needs and the level of interaction and professionalism took our breath away. I felt like a princess thanks to Beata and she even stayed to have cake with us which was wonderful! We truly feel that we have made a friend. As for our wedding album? It is outstanding!

Brilliant and unique

Excellent wedding photographer
Beata was extremely warm and attentive on our wedding day. After a last minute cancellation from our original photographer Beata was excellent. She listened to our brief and what want we wanted, she captured extremely beautiful moments from our special day and her bubbly and professional personality was a joy to be around. The pictures were edited and sent through very quickly. We’d highly recommend Beata.

Absolutely Perfect !!!
I am so delighted to have found Beata Cosgrove Photography, so friendly and professional, the photos were absolutely perfect for my parents 50th Wedding anniversary shoot, Beata captured everything that they wanted and more! Friendly, Flexible and Talented
Beata recently did a shoot with us for our engagement. She made us feel really at ease and comfortable. She provided a great balance of being able to capture what we wanted but also was able to offer us guidance and direction for the perfect shots. Beata was also really flexible with us as she was able to rearrange with us due to poor weather conditions on our original date. We were both really pleased with Beata’s service, 5*.
