Each cake is designed from scratch, with intention, personality, and impeccable attention to detail. From the first enquiry to the moment your cake is revealed at your venue, you’re supported at every step. No guesswork — just a clear, enjoyable journey with a guaranteed result.

Weddings of up to 400 guests are catered for, with delivery and setup available throughout Durham, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, and Cumbria.

The Wedding Cake Journey

Creating your wedding cake should be an enjoyable, seamless experience. My process is designed to keep everything clear, structured, and personalised from the very first message to the moment your cake is revealed at your venue.

1. Your Initial Enquiry

Once you get in touch, we discuss your wedding date, venue, guest numbers, and—most importantly—your vision. Whether you have inspiration ready or are starting from scratch, this is where the story begins.

2. Your Personalised Quote

After we’ve explored your ideas, I prepare a detailed quote tailored to your design, flavour preferences, and portion requirements.

3. Securing Your Date

If you choose to go ahead, a £100 booking fee secures your date in my diary. Once booked, I begin the early stages of design planning and note any ideas you’d like to explore.

4. Cake Sample Tasting

You’re then invited to order a bespoke tasting box. Each box includes six flavour combinations of your choice, delivered directly to your door so you can enjoy them together at home.

This step is where many couples fall in love with their cake.

5. Finalising Your Flavours

Once you’ve made your selections, your order is updated to reflect your chosen flavours. The revised order is emailed to you for approval and any final checks.

6. Pre-Wedding Confirmation

Your remaining balance is due one calendar month before your wedding day. At this stage, we carefully review every detail — the design, delivery time, floral arrangements, stands, and final setup.

After this point, no further changes can be made, ensuring everything is perfectly prepared.

7. The Wedding Day

On the morning of your wedding (or an agreed alternative time), I liaise directly with your venue to coordinate delivery and setup.

Your cake is assembled, stacked, and finished onsite with absolute precision. I take the time to fine-tune every detail so it’s flawless and ready for its reveal with a framed sketch of your wedding cake as a keepsake.

8. After the Celebration

If you’ve hired a cake stand or props, a labelled return box will be left with full instructions. Once items are returned and checked, your stand deposit is refunded in accordance with my terms and conditions.

Every cake is individually priced to reflect its design, scale, and level of craftsmanship. This ensures complete flexibility and allows you to choose a style that fits both your vision and your budget.

As a general guide:

  Serves approximately 44 (2x1 portions) or 88 (1x1 finger portions)

• Three-tier buttercream or semi-naked cake
