Personal touch with attention to detail
The most beautiful wedding cake and loveliest experience!
We had a cake tasting at our flat, where Marianne talked us through different ideas and flavours and really took the time to understand what we wanted. She came up with the most beautiful design that fitted our autumn theme perfectly — a gorgeous two-tiered cake decorated with a beautiful woodland/birch effect, autumn leaves and little foxes on top. It looked absolutely stunning and was even better than we had imagined!
And the taste was just as incredible. We had pumpkin spice buttercream with a layer of white chocolate, all covered with icing, and it was divine. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious it was!
Marianne also made gluten-free cupcakes with the cutest little fox faces, which meant that our gluten-free guests had something equally special and beautiful to enjoy. It was such a lovely touch and meant that nobody felt left out.
Communication throughout the whole process was fantastic, Marianne was so helpful and accommodating, and the price was excellent for the quality and care that went into everything. She genuinely made the whole experience feel easy and exciting, and we always felt like we were in safe hands.

I’m Marianne, an award-winning cake decorator based in Royston, Hertfordshire.
My cake journey began by making special cakes for my children, before going on to create cakes for other family members and friends. I loved being able to make something unique for each celebration, and after plenty of encouragement, I decided to turn that passion into a business.
In 2017, Harebell Creations became fully registered and insured, and what began as a hobby grew into the business it is today.
Over the years, I have continued to develop my skills and have been fortunate enough to receive recognition for my cake decorating. I now specialise in creating bespoke cakes that are personal to each couple and celebration, from elegant wedding cakes and handmade sugar flowers to more individual designs that reflect your own style and story.
