Wedding Cakes in Wales

We are so glad we chose Gail’s Cake Pantry for our wedding cake. From start to finish, Gail was friendly, thoughtful, and made the whole process a joy. On the day itself, she delivered the cake and stayed to carefully decorate it with dried wildflowers, the final result was stunning and exactly what we had envisioned. Gail came highly recommended by Wilde Lodge, and what a brilliant recommendation it was. When we ordered the sample box, it arrived promptly and was so delicious that we ended up ordering a second one just as an excuse to try more! Even then, it was so hard to choose, so we went for three different flavours across the three tiers. Gail was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process, from matching sponge flavours with fillings to working out the right size for our number of guests. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how good the cake was. Our personal favourite was the raspberry sponge with white chocolate ganache, but honestly every layer was amazing. We even took the leftovers with us on our honeymoon, and one of our highlights was sitting on a secluded beach in Ireland, enjoying the last slice with a cup of coffee. Gail created a cake that was not only beautiful, but also tasted incredible, a perfect centrepiece to our wedding day.

Odi was fantastic from the start. She designed the perfect cake for us and communicated well throughout. We went for a coffee and Baileys cake in the end and it was so beautifully decorated, in keeping with our colour scheme, and absolutely delicious. I didn't have much to take home, which says it all. Would highly recommend!!

We asked for 100 cupcake tower with a topper cake to cut. The list of flavours to select from was plentiful. We opted for 3 flavour of cupcakes and another for the topper. Angelicia arrived at the venue to set up the tower and it looked stunning. Thank you for such a professional and service and the delicious cakes. Beautiful 🧁🧁🧁

Megan is super duper lovely and so nice to work with. She was so accommodating and baked and decorator the best wedding cake ever! We had a 2 tier rose and pistachio and lemon and elderflower cake and all the guests loved it so much! Not a single piece was left! Would highly recommend!

Our Wedding Cake was stunning and tasted amazing. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the cake and gave it a great review. At such short notice Cheryl stepped in and went above and beyond our expectations. Her baking skills are truly unmatched and made our celebration even more special. we had our consultation & sampled our wedding cake flavours which were lovely and helped us to decide what flavours to go for for our actual wedding cake. We use our cakes for evening dessert and are very delicious still. Many thanks to Cheryl and we highly recommend Jammy Jam Cakes.

We cannot stress this enough: Katie is incredibly, INCREDIBLY talented and blew us away. She created the most beautiful and stunning wedding cake (and cupcakes!) we have ever honestly seen in our lives, and our guests commented the same. Our jaws literally dropped when we saw the cake for the first time -- there was so much thought, care, and detail put into the design. The cake captured our vision perfectly and so much more! Better yet, all the flavours tasted heavenly too — again, hands down the best cake we have ever tasted. No matter which flavour, the sponge was always soft, fluffy, and moist. The buttercream was also to die for. Even the vegan cupcakes (pistachio and raspberry) tasted divine (and our vegan guests highly recommend her too!). :) We knew we (and our taste buds) were in safe hands with Katie from the very start. After we tried her wedding cupcake flavour sample box, we loved her cupcakes so much that we actually couldn’t wait until the wedding to taste more of her cupcakes — we hired her for birthday cupcakes! Again the cupcakes all tasted and looked absolutely amazing. Katie is also an absolute pleasure to work with. She accommodated all our requests, always responded to our queries quickly, and helped us feel at ease throughout the process. Everything was delivered perfectly and on time. She is such a wonderful supplier to work with, and we strongly recommend her, whether for a wedding, birthday, or simply a yummy pick-me-up treat. Just try her cakes and you’ll see what we mean — our words alone cannot do her cakes justice. Katie, thanks again so, SO much for making our wedding day so special. I am a fan of all things Royal and I wanted a large cake with the King's coronation cloak running down it, and an Orb and Sceptre on the top. Higgins Bespoke cakes did a brilliant job and even our wedding catering team commented on how spectacular the cake looked. If anyone is looking for elaborate icing work on their cake, Higgins are definately up to the challenge.
