As a plus size bride, I was nervous at the idea of being in a white dress, convinced there wouldn’t be a dress that would fit me that I liked. My best friend recommended Alta Costura and I’m so glad she did. I was made to feel comfortable, beautiful in my own skin, there were so many options door me to choose from, no dress was off limits, I was given a real confidence boost. Finding ‘THE DRESS’ was an experience I’d relive again everyday if I could. My consultant didn’t rush me, I was given as much time as I needed, I enjoyed going to every appointment because you’re made to feel beautiful. The ladies who work there really know their stuff, they know what dresses will suit if you’re unsure, they know the drill. You won’t find better. I went to two other shops and came straight back to Alta because the customer service, the way you feel as a customer, was unmatched. Daphne, the seamstress, is absolutely fantastic at her job, she knows a wedding dress and I’d recommend her to anybody. The range of dresses come in every size, there’s no ‘yours and theirs’ for sizes. I tried a range of dresses, and felt amazing in every one. Plus size brides, and all brides, really should go to Alta. I promise you, it’ll be the best decision of your life.

I've been so impressed with The Kent Wedding Centre since we met them at a wedding fair in Detling 3 years ago. Special mention for Darcey who has been supporting both myself and my groomsmen for our big day. Darcey clearly loves what she does and that reflects in how she supports you throughout the build up to your wedding. She's been patient, understood unexpected changes and has been so responsive throughout our time with The Kent Wedding Centre. A credit to your business, I would highly recommend visiting if you are looking around for both groom and bridal options. Thanks for everything. Paul & Kirsty x

I had the most wonderful experience at this bridal shop and couldn't recommend them highly enough! I booked the VIP evening experience with nibbles and drinks, which made the whole occasion feel incredibly special for my bridal party and me. Outstanding Service: From start to finish, the service was absolutely lovely. The staff are genuinely kind, understanding, and incredibly knowledgeable about their industry. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and, more importantly, confident in my dress - which made all the difference in finding "the one." Perfect Atmosphere: The VIP evening created such a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Having the shop to ourselves with drinks and nibbles made it feel like a proper celebration rather than just a shopping appointment. It was the perfect setting to share this special moment with my loved ones. Dream Outcome: I'm thrilled to say I found my dress that very evening! The staff's expertise and genuine care in helping me find the perfect dress was evident throughout the entire experience. If you're looking for a bridal shop that combines exceptional service with a truly special experience, look no further. The team here will make you feel like the most important bride in the world, and their knowledge and kindness will guide you to your perfect dress. I couldn't be happier with my choice and the entire experience - it was everything I hoped for and more!
