This was my first experience with trying on wedding dresses and from the moment I stepped into Lex and Dot Bridal, I was completely at ease. I had communicated to Alexa before my appointment and she listened to all my worries and reassured me before I even tried a single dress on.

I just wanted to extend my thanks to Diana who was the most helpful, and supportive member of staff that helped me at my very first bridal appointment. It was such a lovely experience and her expertise and knowledge of what dresses would suit my body shape was greatly appreciated. This really helped me narrow down what dress to go for! She was on hand, so friendly, and made me feel calm and excited all at the same time! Dress Dreams were also very flexible. I had originally booked an appointment for 2pm, but I called to see if I could come in a little earlier, and they made that happen. Although I didn’t go for my final dress at Dress Dreams, I just wanted to express my thanks to the service that was given on the day of my first bridal appointment. I would definitely recommend visiting the store to anyone who is looking to buy their wedding dress. They have such a great collection of different style dresses. Beautiful veils and accessories that were also given to me to try on so that I could encapture what the final image will look like on the day! Such a lovely space within Tunbridge Wells which stood out from the rest of the stores visited.

I highly recommend Alta Costura for your wedding dress shop! The dresses are absolutely beautiful the shop is light, bright and spotless. The perfect place to pick your wedding dress! The wedding dress assistants are very helpful in understanding what you like and don’t like about dresses and then providing different options that are similar to what you like. Huge thank you to Alta Costura and the team for helping me pick the wedding dress of my dreams. The dress in the photo is Charis

The girls at Chilham bridal are so lovely, I never felt rushed when trying on dresses and they really go out of their way to understand what you are looking for. They made the experience of finding my dress feel personal right from the start and I never felt under pressure or overwhelmed with them. They have an amazing choice of second hand and ex-display dresses which I loved the idea of, I am so glad that I found my dress with them.

I can highly recommend the lovely service at Victorias Bridal Boutique. I had no idea what I wanted but they helped me narrow done my choices and I found the perfect dress. Everyone was lovely and I felt well cared for at every step of the process.

I would highly recommend Ruby Francis Bridal Shop, we met with Sophie and Amber, who are so helpful, kind and experts in all things bridal. Within 1 hour of arriving at my first dress shop, I was able to choose the perfect dress for a price that didn't make me question my choice. The gowns are gorgeous and there is a great selection, but not too much to overwhelm you. They listen carefully to what you like and do not like, but also gently direct you to try different styles that help you be certain in your choice. Thank you for a lovely stress free experience, I would have no hesitation in sending others your way.

I cannot thank Mollie enough for helping me choose the most beautiful and elegant wedding dress! I went into Mollie’s shop with an open mind and not really knowing what I wanted. Mollie helped me to choose a few dresses based on what I did and didn’t like. When I tried on my wedding dress I knew it was the one, I felt confident and beautiful even though I hadn’t dropped down to the weight I wanted. Mollie is so friendly, helpful, and professional. The communication has been amazing and every appointment has been wonderful! I got excited every time I went back just so I could see myself in my dress again. I also got my bridesmaids dresses from Mollie and the girls looked absolutely stunning on the big day! We got matching ties from Mollie for the boys which were really nice quality and I loved the fact they matched the girls. Daisy is also amazing! She altered my dress and the girls dresses perfectly, even when I lost more weight 4 weeks before the wedding! Daisy made sure my dress fitted amazingly in every area before I took my dress home ready for the big day. I highly recommend any bride to be to visit Mollie’s shop and hopefully you’ll find the perfect dress! Thank you Mollie and Daisy for making my bridal experience the most amazing chapter in my life ❤️

I found Sandra by pure chance from a Google search. I had purchased my dress from a bridal shop in Canterbury who had recommended a particular seamstress, but her appointments were only available in the middle of the day on week days. This really didn't suit my 9-5 Monday to Friday job and I was desperate to find someone who had flexible appointments that worked for me. Thank gosh I found Sandra! She replied to my email quick when I enquired about availability and price and was charging the going rate for alterations. We booked in my first appointment within days of the first email. Sandra is one of the loveliest, friendliest people you'll ever meet. I brought my sister along to my last appointment (on Sandra's recommendation) and she instantly said how welcoming and friendly Sandra was. She instantly makes you feel comfortable, which is definitely a requirement when you have to strip off in front of a stranger to try on your dress!! She was knowledgeable and provided good advice (even tips like ussing eyelash glue to stop your necklace moving around during the day!). Her place is lovely and was an excellent excuse to get an ice cream on Westgate beach afterwards! She listened to everything I wanted to do with the dress (e.g. straps vs no straps) and made the dress as comfortable as possible. I was very grateful that she strongly recommended a bridemaid came along to the last appointment as my sister otherwise wouldn't have known on the day how to get me into the dress, do it up and how to hook my dress up for meals and dancing etc. Sandra was honestly one of the best people I booked for my wedding and I would highly recommend her to any East Kent brides who need dress alterations.

I am so, so pleased that I chose to visit Amore Brides in Canterbury. The booking process was really easy, and I was met by Maria on the morning who let us excitedly browse dresses whilst she made us refreshments. She knew really quickly what sort of styles I loved and helped me to find "the dress", as well as eliminate lots of other lovely styles. We really loved that she was relaxed with us and not pushy at all, which we had experienced with some other shops. All in all I was treated like I was truly special and I am so grateful for the wonderful service I received.
