Highly recommend boutique

I had my wedding dress alterations done at the Marylebone boutique and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Absolutely perfected my dress on time!

I’ve just collected my wedding dress after having alterations done, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. The team did an incredible job adjusting the bust, straps and hem — everything now fits like it was made just for me. The free-spirited, artistic vibe was exactly my style.

My bohemian wedding dress alterations were dreamy! They added crochet lace insets down the sides, created flowing bell sleeves with lace trim, lowered the back to a deep V, and added a tiered ruffle hem. They also hand-dyed sections with tea for an aged, vintage look and added tiny brass bells that chimed when I walked. The free-spirited, artistic vibe was exactly my style.

They turned a disaster into a blessing.

Had emergency wedding dress alterations done after a fitting room accident ripped my dress! They repaired a 12-inch tear through the tulle and lace layers so perfectly that even I couldn't find where it had been. They also took the opportunity to adjust the fit, hem the length, and fix the straps. The repair work was absolutely invisible. They turned a disaster into a blessing. Forever grateful for their skill!

I cannot recommend Alterations Boutique enough for wedding dress alterations! My Pronovias gown needed the bodice completely restructured because I lost weight during wedding planning. The seamstress at their Chelsea branch was absolutely brilliant - she took in the entire torso, adjusted the boning, and added internal cups for support. The transformation was incredible! My dress went from hanging off me to fitting like a glove. The attention to detail during my fittings was remarkable, and they kept me calm through the whole process. Worth every penny!"

It honored my mum's dress while being completely contemporary.

The sustainable wedding dress alterations approach was wonderful! I wanted to upcycle my mum's 1990s dress. They deconstructed the entire gown, salvaged all the good lace and beading, and reconstructed it into a modern A-line with the vintage elements incorporated beautifully. They also bleached the yellowed fabric back to bright white. It honored my mum's dress while being completely contemporary.

Absolutely flawless work.

Had my wedding dress alterations done at the Marylebone location and I'm still amazed at the results. I'm only 5'2" so my ballgown needed significant hemming across four layers of tulle plus the lace overlay. I was terrified they'd ruin the intricate beading at the bottom, but the seamstress preserved every single bead while shortening it perfectly. She even showed me how to bustle it for the reception.
