Welcome — I’m Harriet, a bespoke dressmaker dedicated to creating one-of-a-kind gowns and accessories that truly reflect each bride’s individuality.
From the very first sketch to the final fitting, I work closely with every client to bring their vision to life — crafting pieces that not only look beautiful but feel deeply personal. My approach is centred on collaboration, care, and creativity, ensuring that every detail tells a story as unique as the person wearing it.
At the heart of my work is a commitment to inclusivity and empowerment. I believe every bride deserves to feel seen, heard, and celebrated — without judgment and without compromise. My studio is a safe, welcoming space where you can express yourself freely and feel completely at ease throughout your journey.

I recommend allowing at least seven to eight months for the full process. A minimum of three months can be accommodated when needed, though this may limit the complexity or design options available

How do you work?
Working on a bespoke, custom-design basis from my own studio, I personally visit each client to take measurements and conduct fittings, ensuring a relaxed and perfectly tailored experience
Operating hours:
My hours are fully flexible, and I’m more than happy to work around each client’s schedule — offering appointments from Monday to Sunday to ensure the process is as easy and enjoyable as possible

To make the process smooth and stress-free, I accept card and cash payments and offer personalised payment plans to suit each bride’s circumstances

Wedding/ alterations
Went to Harriet with an major issue with my wedding dress hated it was on the verge of getting an new one because it was awful with Harriet’s magic and kindness she fixed my dress to perfection I couldn’t be more grateful , she also made me a beautiful veil which i absolutely love never thought in my wildest dreams to have such beautiful veil , very professional and kind guides you very step of the way always reassures you that not to worry about a thing affordable pricing and such a amazing talent very honoured to have Harriet to do alterations to fix my dress to make my veil for my wedding day would recommend 10000%

Over the moon

Most Beautiful Bespoke Hair Piece
Harriet was absolutely amazing!
I had been looking everywhere for a unique hair piece for my wedding to go with my pink dress that was also good value for money and found Harriet at a wedding fair. She listened to what I was looking for and kept me updated at all times throughout the creative process. The hair pieces are so beautifully made and everything I could have hoped. On top of that Harriet is so super lovely to work with!

Dream dress
Harriet made my dream dress happen. As a Plus size bride i was struggling so much to find something that fit never mind one I had always wanted, until Harriet came along and made sure the dress looked and fitted perfectly! Helped perfect mother of the bride and bridesmaid dresses too. Professional, talented and great person to share a wedding milestone with.

Fantastic designer!
I couldn’t be happier with my experience working with Harriet! She created my custom cathedral-length veil and brought my vision to life perfectly. From start to finish, she was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive to every detail. I really appreciated how she listened to my ideas without trying to change them, and instead offered thoughtful suggestions that made the design even more beautiful. The craftsmanship and care that went into the final piece were outstanding — it was absolutely stunning on my wedding day. I highly recommend her to any bride looking for something truly special!

Brought new life into my mum’s wedding dress!
I always wanted to wear my mum’s wedding dress as it was a medieval style gown in ivory silk but I have a very different body shape to my mum. I was able to find another dress in the same material and Harrier created a brand new dress out of the two and it perfectly matched the vision I had! She was so attentive and was even able to make a mini dress out of the off cuts for my one year old daughter. Five stars all round!

Beautiful and bespoke veil
I was introduced to Harriet through a friend and from start to finish she was an absolute gem! I wanted a bespoke veil for my wedding day and Harriet introduced herself on a video call to find out about me, my wedding and everything I wanted whilst also giving excellent ideas and recommendations for the piece. She was in contact with me at every moment and came to my house twice to drop off the veil and pick it up for alterations. She also sent me samples in the post for me to pick the material and lace/beads. I had some ideas to add some thread and a bustle to the veil so I could put it up through the day and she did it all without any hassle! The veil was such amazing value for money, far less than any wedding dress shop I went too. You must book Harriet for any of your bespoke wedding/event garments as she is fabulous and just the loveliest to top it all off 🙂

The perfect additions to a perfect day ♥️
Harriet is incredible!! Super talented, enthusiastic and really understanding. Harriet made me feel at ease and relaxed, which is really all a bride needs!
I came to Harriet with an idea and she worked her magic! I already had a skirt and wanted a bespoke corset, a veil, hair pieces with matching button holes for the men and a fun jacket…and as you can see she delivered!! We decided on a blue ombré for the veil and Harriet suggested adding in matching blue fabric to the bottom of the dress which added some extra pop to the outfit. She was great with showing me the designs and we discussed all changes and ideas in detail. Everything was delivered on time and very good value for money. I highly recommend booking her for your big day ♥️

I can’t recommend Harriet enough! She completely transformed my evening wedding dress — it was originally two sizes too big, and she altered it to fit me absolutely perfectly. Her attention to detail and the level of service were amazing from start to finish.
Harriet also designed and created beautiful custom lace sleeves to match the existing lace on my dress, and even embroidered my wedding date onto them — such a special, personal touch that made it even more meaningful.

The prefect wedding dress
I had my wedding dress altered by Harriet, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! She was so caring, patient, and attentive throughout the whole process.
