How far in advance should I contact you?
Our wedding dresses take around 4 to 6 months to be made and arrive in the shop. If your wedding is sooner, don’t worry, we can still provide you with a dress!

Step 3 - Say 'YES' to the dress
Step 4 - We finalise paperwork and order your dress!
Operating hours:
We are open Monday to Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday's 9am-5pm. We are also open the last Sunday of every month from 10am till 5pm
What are the forms of payment?
We accept payments by credit or debit card. You usually pay 50% of the dress cost up front, and the balance when the dress arrives in the shop. We also offer payment plans (0% interest)

A Magical Experience from Start to Finish!
I had the most wonderful experience at Alta Costura Bride! The girls were so lovely and welcoming, making the whole process enjoyable and exciting from start to finish. They were so patient and helpful, really listening to what I wanted and offering great advice along the way. The dress I ended up choosing was absolutely magical, I truly felt like a princess on my wedding day!

Wedding dress
I had chosen my dress from Alta Costura in maidstone. There was so much to chose from and I tried on so many dresses with the help of Jo, she was very patient with me and told me what she thought looked good. After 8 dresses I found the one I loved. Even when I had my doubts about my dress the ladies in Alta were very comforting and told me it is normal to change your mind!. Again lol. Daphne the seamstress made my dress a vision of beauty and I couldn't wait to wear it. I'm so in love with my dress and I can't wait to wear it on our 10 year renewals. My daughter has also stated she wants it for her wedding dress one day!. Love to all the ladies at Alta

An amazing experience
Would 10 out of 10 recommend this wedding dress shop. From start to finish I felt comfortable and they talked me through everything. At the end I found my dream dress and stunned everyone on the day!

An honest and professional boutique
Alta Costura were very professional. They liaised with the dress maker and ensured I received a quality product for the big day. I would definitely recommend this boutique, as they were very honest and I felt valued as a customer.

Stunning dress!
Would definitely recommend for your wedding dress. Felt very welcome every time I went in for alterations or to pick up accessories. So many choices to choose from and no pressure to buy there and then.

Welcoming to all brides, including plus size!
I booked my appointment for my wedding dress and had my appointment today after having a really disappointing appointment at another bridal store previously. I was worried there wouldn't be dresses I liked and I would fit in (being plus size). Lucy was brilliant, she was patient, she listened to everything I was saying (even when I did pull a complete 180 and go back on myself!) and then got me tissues when I cried in my dream wedding dress. Thank you so much for making me feel so special and helping me find my dream dress!

LOVED my dress
I had the best experience at Alta Costura. I got married last month, and had so many compliments on my dress, how unique it was and how well it fitted. They had a huge range of dresses and Sarah was fantastic, giving me all the time I needed to try on dresses and moving me towards my dream dress based on what I liked and didn't about others I tried. She also ordered me the PERFECT size so I didn't need any alterations, saving me hundreds!! The staff were so helpful, communication was fantastic the whole time and I'd definitely recommend anyone to shop there!

I was incredibly anxious about dress shopping, very self conscious and convinced it would be super stressful. I am so pleased to say that I was so wrong and had no reason to be anxious; my bridal consultant Sarah welcomed me in on my first appointment and was with me for every appointment/fitting that I had, she listened to what I had to say, reassured me, allowed me the time and space needed to process things and offered her support and advice.
All of the other lovely ladies working in the shop were just as wonderful, they were all excited to see me trying on my dress and loved chatting to me about my wedding. The entire vibe and atmosphere was so warm, welcoming and friendly which was so comforting and helped me feel so much less anxious.
I am thrilled to have found my dress at Alta's and to be an ACB Bride!! Thank you Alta, Sarah and the entire team, you really are wonderful.

The perfect experience
I was extremely nervous to find a wedding dress. I was recovering from a surgery, getting used to a new body shape and getting stronger after an injury and truly thought I’d, at best, find something I wouldn’t hate.
Instead the ladies made me so comfortable and happy that I found my dream dress - it had pockets ;)
I laughed my way through my appointment and enjoyed every second.
Each corresponding appointment was a joy and I have recommended them to every other bride I know.

A very special bridal shop
Fantastic service from these guys. Everyone on the team were incredibly friendly and complimentary. Myself and my partner were helped by the lovely Jo who was so helpful and made choosing a dress very special. They even helped with keeping the cost down and very generously helped with storing our dresses and dry cleaning. I'm beyond happy with the service given and the amount of beautiful dresses to choose from. I would always recommend Alta Costura... Every. Single. Time. Thank you so much for everything.
