Jessica helped me to say yes to the dress listening to the styles, fabrics, colours etc that I wanted and not pushing an alternative as some sales persons would. The team were respectful of my budget and wishes at all times.

Tracy is a miracle worker seamstress, again so friendly. Her proffessional advice on the timings to get my dress fitted and how to do it was spot on - listen to the team, they know what they're doing!

I went to get my dress in June 2025, I had the lovely Jo as my advisor and I can not fault her at all, I am an anxious person & was very nervous on the day. Jo gave me advice and help when needed & was just amazing! She knew I'd found my dress before my brain even realised I had! All the staff are just excellent & really helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this store you will feel relaxed and at ease.

I got to try on a range of dresses to see what I did and didn’t like. I had Sarah look after me at my appointment and she got out three dresses and before I had even seen them properly I knew my dress was there. I had an idea of what I wanted but couldn’t find it. Sarah knew exactly what I wanted and managed to find it.

As a plus size bride, I was nervous at the idea of being in a white dress, convinced there wouldn’t be a dress that would fit me that I liked. My best friend recommended Alta Costura and I’m so glad she did. I was made to feel comfortable, beautiful in my own skin, there were so many options door me to choose from, no dress was off limits, I was given a real confidence boost. Finding ‘THE DRESS’ was an experience I’d relive again everyday if I could. My consultant didn’t rush me, I was given as much time as I needed, I enjoyed going to every appointment because you’re made to feel beautiful. The ladies who work there really know their stuff, they know what dresses will suit if you’re unsure, they know the drill. You won’t find better. I went to two other shops and came straight back to Alta because the customer service, the way you feel as a customer, was unmatched. Daphne, the seamstress, is absolutely fantastic at her job, she knows a wedding dress and I’d recommend her to anybody. The range of dresses come in every size, there’s no ‘yours and theirs’ for sizes. I tried a range of dresses, and felt amazing in every one.
Plus size brides, and all brides, really should go to Alta. I promise you, it’ll be the best decision of your life.

I had the most wonderful experience at Alta Costura Bride! The girls were so lovely and welcoming, making the whole process enjoyable and exciting from start to finish. They were so patient and helpful, really listening to what I wanted and offering great advice along the way. The dress I ended up choosing was absolutely magical, I truly felt like a princess on my wedding day!

I contacted Alta Costura after my original dress (from another shop) was never ordered so never arrived! I had less than 12 weeks until my wedding and I was in a panic! They were incredible theb1st dress the pulled for me was better than my old dress and better than I could ever have imagined! I felt like a princess. The customer service was incredible nothing was too much for them and the seamstress worked tirelessly to get my dress finished on time and It was perfect! I cant thank you enough!

I had chosen my dress from Alta Costura in maidstone. There was so much to chose from and I tried on so many dresses with the help of Jo, she was very patient with me and told me what she thought looked good. After 8 dresses I found the one I loved. Even when I had my doubts about my dress the ladies in Alta were very comforting and told me it is normal to change your mind!. Again lol. Daphne the seamstress made my dress a vision of beauty and I couldn't wait to wear it. I'm so in love with my dress and I can't wait to wear it on our 10 year renewals. Honestly couldn’t have had a better appointment. I had previous tried another shop in connected to this one and was dreading trying on dresses the ladies were so friendly and warm. They made me feel at ease, went through everything and made the whole experience so wonderful. I said “yes” to my dress and I couldn’t have been happier! I found them at a wedding fair a week ago and best decision I ever made going today! I can’t thankyou all enough for the whole experience

When I visited Alta Costura Brides I had appointment with Jo. I'm such an anxious person and struggle with unfamiliar situations, but Jo done all she could to help me relax. I gave Jo a challenge, I didn't want a white wedding dress I wanted black... nothing was too much for Jo and the team, they looked around for me for black dresses with their designers. We ordered 4 dresses in and yes I choose my dress... and wow what a stunning dress 🖤💜😍. Throughout my experience working with with Alta's team, they were always there to help with any worries I had and done so very quickly.

I booked my appointment for my wedding dress and had my appointment today after having a really disappointing appointment at another bridal store previously. I was worried there wouldn't be dresses I liked and I would fit in (being plus size). Lucy was brilliant, she was patient, she listened to everything I was saying (even when I did pull a complete 180 and go back on myself!) and then got me tissues when I cried in my dream wedding dress. I had the best experience at Alta Costura. I got married last month, and had so many compliments on my dress, how unique it was and how well it fitted. They had a huge range of dresses and Sarah was fantastic, giving me all the time I needed to try on dresses and moving me towards my dream dress based on what I liked and didn't about others I tried. She also ordered me the PERFECT size so I didn't need any alterations, saving me hundreds!! The staff were so helpful, communication was fantastic the whole time and I'd definitely recommend anyone to shop there!

My experience with Alta Costura Bride is nothing but positive!
I was incredibly anxious about dress shopping, very self conscious and convinced it would be super stressful. I am so pleased to say that I was so wrong and had no reason to be anxious; my bridal consultant Sarah welcomed me in on my first appointment and was with me for every appointment/fitting that I had, she listened to what I had to say, reassured me, allowed me the time and space needed to process things and offered her support and advice.
All of the other lovely ladies working in the shop were just as wonderful, they were all excited to see me trying on my dress and loved chatting to me about my wedding. The entire vibe and atmosphere was so warm, welcoming and friendly which was so comforting and helped me feel so much less anxious.
