I have been to a couple of different dress shops to try on wedding dresses the weekend before, but as soon as I stepped into Barn Bridal it was a totally different story!

Jane took the time before jumping into everything to really get to know me, the type of wedding I was having and my vision. This made me feel so comfortable right away and it gave her a better idea of what I was looking for. I felt like I had known Jane for ages, throughout the try ons we were having a lovely knatter about anything and everything. She made sure I felt comfortable and happy in each dress before showing my family, which made me feel even more at ease!

She listened to everything I wanted and brought out a dress that was exactly what I had pictured! I felt beautiful!

But then Jane also asked if I wanted to try on a few more to make sure and I found the one! All the dresses I tried on were beautiful and such lovely quality! There was a lot of emphasis and how I felt and what I wanted, rather than what size was needed etc like I had experienced in some other stores! Obviously you only hope to buy a wedding dress once but I felt I needed to leave this review in the hope that other girls book in with Jane and get the same wonderful experience, the one we all dream of!

I have the most beautiful dress and I can’t wait to wear it on my big day!

Yesterday was my first time going to a wedding dress shop and it was the most amazing experience! I felt very lucky that Jane was able to accommodate all five of my bridal party! I am in love with my dress and couldn’t be happier.

Today I had my first wedding dress shopping experience and it will also be my last because I managed to find the most gorgeous dress that I said yes to at Barn Bridal Boutique. It was the first dress I had tried on and I knew immediately that Jane had picked out the dress of my dreams for me to try first.

From start to finish my experience was personal, catering to all my needs, and wonderful. I felt like the most beautiful girl in the world the whole time and never once did I feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed, even though dress shopping is a vulnerable thing!

Thank you Jane for giving me my dream dress shopping experience for my wedding l. I’ve taken home a dress that was beyond my wildest dreams.

My dress was affordable and matched all the criteria I had dreamed of. I never thought i’d get a dress like i have for the budget I had in mind. I feel so expensive and gorgeous in a dress that was beyond reasonably priced. I also got my tiara and veil for an amazing price. Jane didn’t pressure me into buying the most expensive dress in the too. She gave me a dress that met my needs and that wasn’t incredibly expensive. She offered me a tiara that was much lower in price than the one I went for. It truly felt like the whole day she just wanted me to find a dress that was perfect for me but that was completely unrealistic.

Thank you Jane, I had the most enchanting day and I now feel like I really will be a beautiful bride when I have never felt that of myself 🤍🤍🤍

Today I attended a wedding dress appointment at Barn Bridal. Jane was a dream, making the whole experience so fun, relaxed and memorable.

Initially I was very nervous to go dress shopping as I didn’t know if I was in the right shape as of yet. Jane soon made these worries go away and helped pick the most beautiful and flattering dress, which was the first dress she pointed out and tried on, and the dress I walked away with today.

The barn was beautiful and the whole experience was lovely. Happy tears were shed and lots of laughing!

If you’re looking for a place to find a bridal dress, this is definitely the place. The whole experience was tailored and intimate and completely perfect.

We had a wonderful time. The boutique is a lovely intimate space. Jane sat and took the time to find out about my wedding what I was after what I liked and didn’t like and talked me through some of the dresses she had. Jane and I went through and selected dresses that I liked.
Jane really knows what she is doing as every dress got better and better until I put the one on and immediately I felt like a bride. My dress was packed up beautifully and with care. While we had Prosecco to celebrate. Would highly recommend Barn Bridal Boutique!

Was a stunning shop to get my dress in, was made to feel so welcome! My older sister came here in 2021 so I knew I had to come for my own dress! I tried on about 5 and managed to find my ONE! I never felt rushed or like I needed to speed up my decisions, I left feeling happy and confident in my choices and for a decent price too!

From the moment we arrived, she made us all feel so welcome. We started with a cup of tea and a chat, which helped me relax straight away. Jane was brilliant throughout the appointment – she really listened and somehow knew exactly which dress I was going to choose. She was right too, as it ended up being the very first dress I tried on!
She made me feel comfortable, confident and beautiful without ever being pushy. She also made the whole experience so much fun. After I'd found my dress, she got out some props and took some funny photos of me with my mum, sister and future mother-in-law, which gave us all a good laugh. When I mentioned I was thinking of wearing cowboy boots on my wedding day, she even let me try on her own pair to see what they looked like with the dress!
To top it all off, we celebrated with a glass of prosecco afterwards. It felt like such a personal and memorable experience from start to finish. I'd highly recommend Barn Bridal Boutique to any bride-to-be, and a huge thank you to Jane for making it such a special day

I genuinely have no words to explain how perfect my dress from Barn bridals was for me! Bit delayed doing this post but wanted to wait till the big day so I could share a photo! When we got my dress in April 2025, Jane made the whole experience incredible stress free and enjoyable for me and my mum. She helped me find a dress that matched my vision and whilst the dress I found didn’t have sleeves she put me in contact with the most amazing seamstress Nicole to adjust it for me and it was absolutely perfect! Could not recommend Barn Bridals enough!

I came across Barn Bridal Boutique online, I'd tried a couple of other places looking through rails of dresses selecting one's I thought I may like, but I just couldn't find what I was looking for. I'm a size 16 (wouldn't usually share this, but think it's important for my review), and had be trying on ill fitting dresses in various sizes and becoming very despondent in finding a dress I love.

Then things changed in a heartbeat. I booked an appointment with Jane and when her website said something along the lines of "people come to me last as they often take the dress away on the same day" I thought no way would that me...well, how wrong was I!

Jane took a few minutes at the beginning of our consultation asking what I liked, what I felt suited me or didn't suit me, and honestly said "well I think from what you are saying I am going to recommend 2/3 dresses for you maximum". The first dress I tried on genuinely was THE ONE, I cried, my friends and mum cried and we all got goosebumps. The 2nd dress I also could have genuinely taken home too, a perfect match also.

Jane is truly a Boss Queen of the bridal world in my opinion, and if you want to go where someone knows what they are talking about and have an incredible experience who understands different body types, I would highly recommend you visit the Barn Bridal Boutique... I would be highly surprised if you didn't walk out with your dream dress too! And on top of this, the dresses are all reasonably priced in my opinion, and you save an extra 10% by taking the dress home on the day.

By the end of the consultation I also already had two quotes sourced directly by Jane for alterations and had secured this with a highly recommended seamstress by the end of the day directly myself - amazing service, another thing I don't have to worry about.

If I could give this service 6 stars I would - Jane, you truly made a unsure bride to be feel like a million dollars, thank you so much. I was so pleased to say "Yes to the dress" with you.

I had such a lovely morning at Barn Bridal. Jane was so welcoming and reassuring, so my nerves and apprehension were instantly calmed. The shop was beautiful and my guests were fully involved in the experience. Jane’s expertise was second to none, without her recommendations I wouldn’t have even looked at the dress I fell in love with. I would fully recommend Barn Bridal to every bride!

I could not recommend Jane and Barn Bridal Boutique enough. When I came in a really didn't know what I wanted and felt very nervous about the whole experience. Jane instantly put me at ease, she is so friendly and easy to talk to and clearly has a wealth of knowledge. You get the impression she knows what you are going to walk home with before you do! But don't get the impression she is pushy, while she will give her opinion on why a dress does or doesn't compliment you, she only does so after you try it on and consider for yourself. And the value for money is amazing! Honestly I would recommend to anyone whether you have a wedding coming up soon and need a dress to take away ASAP, or even if your wedding is a year or more away. Why stress yourself out ordering a dress from somewhere that will take months to arrive? These are absolutely beautiful dresses and you will be getting value, not cheapness!

She is amazing at what she does as the 1st dress she picked for me to try on was the one I said yes to. She has a great eye for what will suit you and your body type.
