Newhall Estate is a beautiful country house wedding venue rich in history, character and charm. Hosting only a limited number of weddings each year, the Estate is exclusively yours, allowing couples to create a truly personal celebration.
With two nights’ exclusive use included, your wedding becomes a relaxed countryside stay with your favourite people — giving you time to celebrate, unwind and enjoy the Estate together.
Ceremony & Reception Spaces
Choose from four unique ceremony locations across the Estate:
- The Sunroom – elegant and filled with natural light
- The Granary – rustic charm in a beautifully restored space
- The Lawn – a tranquil outdoor ceremony setting
- The Walled Garden – romantic and surrounded by nature
For your evening celebration, select from two reception spaces, including an atmospheric outdoor setting with a fire pit and Nordic tipi.
Newhall welcomes weddings from 2 guests up to 150, with no minimum guest number requirement, making it perfect for both intimate celebrations and larger gatherings.
Accommodation
Your stay includes two nights’ accommodation for up to 29 guests within the Estate. Additional rooms are available, allowing accommodation for up to 40 guests in total for an additional fee.
This creates a relaxed house-party atmosphere where your closest friends and family can stay on site and celebrate with you throughout your wedding stay.

Newhall staff went above and beyond
We can’t recommend Newhall Estate highly enough as a wedding venue. Jak & Yvonne (& the wider Newhall staff) went over and above to ensure we had the perfect wedding weekend from the first email we sent to the moment we checked out after our 3 day event. The communication in the 18 months in between was second to none.
We fell in love with Newhall as soon as we saw it and so many guests commented that it was the best wedding venue they’d ever been to. A true hidden gem that gave us everything we dreamed our wedding would be with everything on site and lots of different areas to make your day unique and make the most of the stunning grounds.
A picturesque granary room, a beautiful open conservatory sunroom, a big open and spacious coach house with a fantastic house and cottages on site where 40 guests can stay, each in their own uniquely & stunningly decorated living space.
The huge grounds of Newhall provide the most idyllic photo opportunities and we can’t wait to see ours.
The staff are what tops everything off as nothing was a bother and you couldn’t ask for a more helpful and friendly bunch of people to spend your wedding with. They felt more like friends to us in their lovely and calming presence and ongoing banter whilst maintaining the professionalism to ensure the wedding ran smoothly. They had every eventuality covered so we knew if anything went wrong, we had absolute confidence that they’d know how to fix it.
We had the wedding of our dreams at Newhall and we can’t thank the dream team and the beautiful grounds enough.

Best weekend at Newhall
Newhall gave us the best weekend of our lives. The staff are incredible and are there to help you with anything from the first viewing to you leaving after you wedding weekend is over. We love the homely touches and even had our flowers for the day made from their gardens. There is no need for any room turn overs as they have an area for every part of your day which our guests loved. The caterers they use are fantastic (we used hickory) the food was incredible. All our guests that stayed loved their rooms but the bridal suite is something special. The grounds are stunning with plenty of photo opportunities all of which are accessible via a golf buggy which was fantastic when wearing a wedding dress. Newhall will always be special to us not only for the memories but for all the support we received from the staff who helped exceed our expectations in every way possible.

Perfect venue
We had the most amazing weekend at Newhall Estate! The venue is stunning and the team are so good at running weddings there. Our day ran so smoothly, both Yvonne and Jak were incredibly nice and attentive and the housekeeping team are also excellent. The whole weekend couldn’t have gone better thanks to them. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

The Best Wedding Venue in Scotland
Newhall Estate is, in our opinion, the single best wedding venue in Scotland. Our wedding and the venue were described as a ‘fairy-tale’ by several guests, and we couldn’t agree more. Not only are the house and grounds absolutely stunning, providing an idyllic backdrop for the wedding, but we also got to stay there with 40 of our closest friends and family for the whole weekend.
This is really how all weddings should be. It allowed us to spend time with our guests before the day, our families could get to know each other, and we were more relaxed since we didn’t need to travel anywhere and could get ready in the house on the day itself.
All those reasons already make Newhall an amazing venue. But what really sets it apart from the others we looked at was the Newhall team. Jak was in continuous contact with us throughout the planning process, supporting us through several date changes and multiple visits, always patiently answering all our questions. Yvonne and Saskia were delightful and experts at managing the day itself. It was almost like having two good friends there who appeared just whenever you needed them.
The team can only be described as exceptional, the personal touch we received from beginning to end was second to none. Everyone really went above and beyond to ensure the day was everything we had dreamed of.

Best day of our lives!
We knew right away that Newhall was the venue for us! On our wedding weekend it exceeded all expectations, the venue provided for everything from arrival on the Friday to departure on Sunday! It was extra special being able to spend the full weekend with 40 of our nearest and dearest! To top the day off it snowed and the venue was transformed into a winter wonderland! After 3 dates, it was 100% worth the wait and we can’t recommend Newhall enough to other couples getting married! Our guests thought it was pretty epic as well!

Best day of our lives at the best venue!
From the moment we were shown around we knew there was no other venue for us! With accomodation for our nearest and dearest so the wedding lasted for three days, to the incredible bridal suite and house, amazing grounds and a team that were second-to-none. No question too silly in the run up and Ben and Richard made the day feel effortless for us so we could focus on having the time of our lives, and Tricia was exceptional providing flowers grown on site for our bouquets and buttonholes. No extra touch was too much, and Ben kept us so calm during the preparations, even sorting my dress and veil as I walked down the aisle. They listened to everything we needed but weren’t imposing, we only noticed they were there when they were keeping us right. I wish I could give 100 stars!

2020 Wedding
It’s a daunting decision deciding to go ahead with a wedding this year, especially if it’s one you might not have initially envisaged due to the current regulations.
However, speaking from experience, we can honestly say we’re so glad we persevered. The whole day was the intimate wedding we hadn’t thought about before, but now we couldn’t recommend enough. Saying that, the decision to continue was made a whole lot easier by the suppliers who made it possible. Especially those at Newhall Estate.
Jak, Tricia and Ben make a fantastic team. Welcomed from the first visit, we knew Newhall was somewhere we could fashion a wedding that was truly our own. From the moment we arrived on the Friday, we were made to feel as though the house was our own. Jak maintained constant and clear communication with us throughout, interpreting the restrictions and seamlessly making the whole event possible. If nothing else, you must let Tricia do your flowers. Obviously a seasoned horticulturalist, she knows well what works and our arrangements couldn’t have been more perfect.
