We don’t even know where to start in being able to thank the whole team at Hopetoun House in being a part of our most amazing wedding on Saturday! From the very first time we visited and were wowed driving up to the house, our whole experience of the venue and the people has been first class!! Working with Clare, Angela, Donald, Piers and the Hopetoun and Heritage teams has been professional, yet so very personal and we can not thank you all enough! Everything on our most special day ran like clockwork and the teams worked so hard to make sure ourselves and all of our guests had the best day ever! Hopetoun House as our wedding venue brought history, beauty, and the wow factor all together and combining these with the impeccable staff and service, gave us a wedding day that neither ourselves or our guests will ever forget! We got married at Newhall in May 2026. Newhall is a stunning venue and the staff are amazing. Newhall is definitely a hidden gem. The venue is beautiful. There are a choice of event spaces which are all lovely and they all offer different things. The house is also an excellent place to stay with your friends and family which extends your wedding weekend which we found very special! The grounds are also amazing which is lovely for photos. This sentiment was echoed by all of our guests. The Newhall staff are all amazing and look to make sure your day goes smoothly! They worked through all of our planning to help make the day we wanted all come together. They were always there to help us do anything we needed or to make sure everyone knew where/when things were happening. On our wedding day there was no running around for us and we could enjoy our day! All of our guests commented on the lovely helpful staff too. The whole weekend format that Newhall takes is excellent! Our wedding day passed so quickly which made staying with our close family and friends over the weekend extra special. It allowed us the time to see them all properly. The Friday was lovely to come in and setup all of our decorations and see that the venue is setup the way we wanted for the big day! We can’t recommend Newhall enough! It is a very special venue.

We recently got married at Carberry over two days, with one ceremony being a traditional Indian ceremony and the other a more typical western / Christian ceremony. The venue was perfect and only surpassed by the diligence of everyone working there. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and so committed to making our weekend personalised. Could not recommend enough!

Thank you very much for all you did to make our Wedding day so perfect; it really was a fairytale come true. We hope to return to beautiful Traquair House for our anniversary.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception in the Orangery at Arniston House. The day was perfect from start to finish, we cannot praise Kim, Henny and the Arniston team highly enough. There running of the day was smooth and stress free as was the setup the day before. Throughout the planning and organising Kim was incredibly helpful and understanding, and responses to our queries were received very promptly. The team went above and beyond to make our wedding both unique to us and enjoyable for all our guests.
