We don’t even know where to start in being able to thank the whole team at Hopetoun House in being a part of our most amazing wedding on Saturday! From the very first time we visited and were wowed driving up to the house, our whole experience of the venue and the people has been first class!! Working with Clare, Angela, Donald, Piers and the Hopetoun and Heritage teams has been professional, yet so very personal and we can not thank you all enough! Everything on our most special day ran like clockwork and the teams worked so hard to make sure ourselves and all of our guests had the best day ever! Hopetoun House as our wedding venue brought history, beauty, and the wow factor all together and combining these with the impeccable staff and service, gave us a wedding day that neither ourselves or our guests will ever forget! We can’t recommend Newhall Estate highly enough as a wedding venue. Jak & Yvonne (& the wider Newhall staff) went over and above to ensure we had the perfect wedding weekend from the first email we sent to the moment we checked out after our 3 day event. The communication in the 18 months in between was second to none. We fell in love with Newhall as soon as we saw it and so many guests commented that it was the best wedding venue they’d ever been to. A true hidden gem that gave us everything we dreamed our wedding would be with everything on site and lots of different areas to make your day unique and make the most of the stunning grounds. A picturesque granary room, a beautiful open conservatory sunroom, a big open and spacious coach house with a fantastic house and cottages on site where 40 guests can stay, each in their own uniquely & stunningly decorated living space. The huge grounds of Newhall provide the most idyllic photo opportunities and we can’t wait to see ours. The staff are what tops everything off as nothing was a bother and you couldn’t ask for a more helpful and friendly bunch of people to spend your wedding with. They felt more like friends to us in their lovely and calming presence and ongoing banter whilst maintaining the professionalism to ensure the wedding ran smoothly. They had every eventuality covered so we knew if anything went wrong, we had absolute confidence that they’d know how to fix it. We had the wedding of our dreams at Newhall and we can’t thank the dream team and the beautiful grounds enough.

Thank you very much for all you did to make our Wedding day so perfect; it really was a fairytale come true. We hope to return to beautiful Traquair House for our anniversary.
