From the initial meeting with Tracey to the Wedding Day everything was faultless. Tracey listened as I described the wedding I was looking for and offered suggestions to enhance my day that I had not considered. Although numbers etc changed Tracey was helpful and accommodated all changes. Doug who supplied the Light up Dance Floor, Post Box, Chair coverings and Love Letter was also extremely helpful and so friendly and always prepared to go the extra mile. On the day John McDonald was on hand to keep me calm and walk me through the days events. John was patient and went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect day. John also packed up all our items from the day so we just had to load them into the car the next day. Bar service was also efficient and staff really helpful and friendly. Food was great and there was plenty of it. All | had to do was turn up as everything was handled for me. The area the ceremony took place was absolutely stunning with all chairs covered and the red carpet added the perfect touch. The only negative was the repair work being made to the roof in the conservatory however Doug managed to dress this up to detract from the scaffolding. I have been to lots of weddings at this venue and have always been impressed however i loved the fact that Tracey tailored made the wedding to fit our requirements. All our guests have messaged us to say what a great night. Colin, the DJ (Big Al Entertainment) is also highly recommended. Contact was made prior to the wedding with any special requests and these were all met on the night. Wedding party names etc were all used and made everyone included. We even managed to get Colin a wee dance.

Absolutely stunning venue in the best location, so good for the price and the team made sure that the day flowed so smoothly!

They Catred from the most amazing day. A wonderful Venue with alll the ammenities but most important was the outstanding quality of service given. We had a wedding with no problems or drama, just the most amazing day thanks to the wedding team at the Dalmahoy, they helped plan all events and details to a personal yet professional level. Value wise the wedding package was great however the rooms at the hotel were pricey if booked directly. That being said the hotel rooms and wedding suite were spotless. Catering here was outstanding and the function rooms for the wedding were perfect for our special day. The dalmahoy simply put is the best place to get Married in Edinburgh.

We had the most wonderful wedding day at RCPE in November 2025. Our guests were absolutely blown away by the venue, so many people commented on how unique and beautiful it was, and several said it was a day they’ll always remember. The entire events team was incredibly accommodating and helpful from start to finish. Everything felt effortless thanks to their support, and we’re so grateful for how smoothly the whole day ran. Thank you to Hannah and the RCPE Events Team for giving us such a fantastic experience. We couldn’t have wished for a better venue for our wedding!

Wow where do I even start?! We had our big day at Norton House on 5th July 2025. Everything was absolutely perfect. From the organisation, to the staff, the food, and the operations over the weekend it was everything we ever dreamed of and more. Our Operations Manager on the day, Jillian, was fantastic and everything went exactly as planned, exactly as we wanted it. The guests raved about the staff, venue and food and our day was honestly perfect. The venue was able to be flexible with what we wanted, we even made up our own meal for the wedding breakfast which wasn’t a problem. Our Coordinator, Laura, was friendly, helpful, professional and nothing was ever too much for her. It’s the small things that make such a difference, from being given a highland cow to keep, to reserving a large area at breakfast for all our guests that stayed over on the Sunday, honestly it was incredible and we feel so lucky to have been able to have our big day at Norton House. If you are considering booking this venue for your wedding, do it!! Because I promise you won’t regret it.

We got married here ion 22nd Feb 2025. Being in Berkshire and planning a wedding in Edinburgh is not easy but the staff made it so . Nothing was too much trouble. From initial planning to on the day and after we have nothing but good things to say. Planners are great and we did n a lot online and by email but it was all flawless on the day.Blaise, Oz and the team on the day were brilliant along with serving staff , bar staff all were great and the food was also of top notch quality . We have had so many great comments form people who attended we cannot rate it highly enough. We brought in soft play in the turret room and had red bus trips but fitting it all in with the planetarium and the attraction itself meant a fun filled fabulous day for all.

Melville Castle was the perfect wedding venue! The staff went above and beyond with their kindness and attentiveness, ensuring everything ran smoothly on our special day. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, leaving our guests raving about it. The castle’s stunning location and charming atmosphere created a magical backdrop for our celebration. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to say “I do”!

After our original venue cancelled on us 5 months before our date, Kimberley and her team stepped up to provide us with an amazing package with our chosen date still available. I truly cannot fault the events staff for how they ran the day and although I had given a rough guide for my decor, Kimberley, Euan and the rest of the team made sure it looked even better by adding little touches and bringing everything together. As a bride, I felt incredibly supported and knew when and where to be, with little reminders of where to hold my bouquet which really helped. This support was also extended to my maid of honour which we both really appreciated. Euan also helped me with a dress emergency when my fabric wouldn't steam out the creases, it took him a good 20 minutes to get these out and truly saved the day! The food and service were wonderful, we felt the pace of our wedding was very relaxed and there was no rushing. The venue itself is stunning with wonderful views which changed over the course of the day from day to night. Although attached to the hotel, this venue really is its own special place, and we'll remember it for years to come!

We had the pleasure of using this venue for my daughters Bridal Shower. This was a small event, held in the downstairs bar area, with High Tea and games we had brought along. All staff at the Mansion House were extremely professional, friendly and accommodating, both in the run up to the event and during it. For example my elderly mother arrived very tired and thirsty after a busy morning, and they brought her some tea and offered to make her some toast too, even though this was not 'part of the package'. The house itself is a lovely old historic building with beautiful grounds and views, and we had a chance to see some of the larger rooms as well, which were wonderful. Everything was well planned and timed, and we were well looked after throughout. Would happily recommend.
