Kirknewton House Stables was the perfect venue for our day! We had access to the site for the whole weekend so we were able to set up the day before and come back the next day to dismantle/ take things. Robert and Olivia at the venue were so accommodating and lovely. They helped make the day run a lot smoother. The grounds are beautiful! Perfect photo opportunities as well as a chance for guests to explore during cocktail hour. The venue is so spacious and doesn’t require much to make it ‘wedding ready’. Luckily we were able to have our ceremony outside which was equally beautiful as the inside. The getting ready rooms were also fantastic for the bridal party. Again, Robert and Olivia were absolutely amazing!

We hosted our wedding reception for just under 100 people at The Register Club, after having our small dinner downstairs at Hawksmoor. We couldn't be happier with everything about the evening. The staff were delightful from the first time we visited the space until the morning after the wedding, and worked with us confirming every detail. We felt in such safe hands and were also surprised at how doable the space was for our budget. It felt so luxurious and everything went so smoothly.

We got married here ion 22nd Feb 2025. Being in Berkshire and planning a wedding in Edinburgh is not easy but the staff made it so . Nothing was too much trouble. From initial planning to on the day and after we have nothing but good things to say. Planners are great and we did n a lot online and by email but it was all flawless on the day.Blaise, Oz and the team on the day were brilliant along with serving staff , bar staff all were great and the food was also of top notch quality . We have had so many great comments form people who attended we cannot rate it highly enough. We brought in soft play in the turret room and had red bus trips but fitting it all in with the planetarium and the attraction itself meant a fun filled fabulous day for all.

We picked the Dalmahoy after I took my then girlfriend now my wife here for a birthday treat and we instantly fell in love with the place, everything about the hotel is just perfect from the staff the food the service and of coarse the building itself, when we first inquired about getting married we met Emma the wedding coordinator for the first time and we knew for sure after a brief chat this was the place, from start to the day itself everything was taken care of nothing was a hassle or to much, our whole day was amazing and everything went perfectly and this was all down to Emma and the amazing team behind her, for what we got and the personal attention the Dalmahoy is by far great value, each and everyone of our guests complimented the hotel and said it was the best wedding they’d ever attended, we genuinely would do it all over again and we now class Emma as a friend. My advice stop thinking about it and book the Dalmahoy it truly is an amazing place for your once in a forever day.

We had the most wonderful wedding day at RCPE in November 2025. Our guests were absolutely blown away by the venue, so many people commented on how unique and beautiful it was, and several said it was a day they’ll always remember. The entire events team was incredibly accommodating and helpful from start to finish. Everything felt effortless thanks to their support, and we’re so grateful for how smoothly the whole day ran. Thank you to Hannah and the RCPE Events Team for giving us such a fantastic experience. We couldn’t have wished for a better venue for our wedding!

Initially the plan was to have an elopement wedding. Just my husband and I. It was all arranged. However, with 10 weeks to go, we changed the plan last minute to accommodate 27 more guests! Was it a problem, absolutely not! The team at Norton were amazing. Laura supported us with our changes and the different options we were looking at, and suggested the best package to suit our revised plans. As we live down south, everything was done from afar, but we did take a trip up to Edinburgh 7 wks before the big day to do our menu tasting. The venue is beautiful with lovely photogenic grounds. From start to finish everyone at the Norton were outstanding. Their customer service is second to none. From the staff on reception, the bar staff, the events team, right through to the restaurant team. On the actual wedding day Callum was our Operations Director. We cannot praise him highly enough!! He was truly amazing and i don't know what we would have done without him. He kept us on time, kept our guests in the right place. Instinctively knew when to pop up, just at the right time. He ran a tight but friendly ship to keep everything on track, and i personally I would have been lost without him. When it came to the meal, our guests said that was the best wedding food they had ever had! It really was quality!! Everyone was literally full by the end of the meal, but nicely so. As part of our package, our guest got a discount on their rooms, so nearly all our guests stayed at the hotel. We are so glad we chose the Norton Hotel & Spa for our wedding. Everyone had a wonderful time and made good use of all the facilities.

We had the pleasure of using this venue for my daughters Bridal Shower. This was a small event, held in the downstairs bar area, with High Tea and games we had brought along. All staff at the Mansion House were extremely professional, friendly and accommodating, both in the run up to the event and during it. For example my elderly mother arrived very tired and thirsty after a busy morning, and they brought her some tea and offered to make her some toast too, even though this was not 'part of the package'. The house itself is a lovely old historic building with beautiful grounds and views, and we had a chance to see some of the larger rooms as well, which were wonderful. Everything was well planned and timed, and we were well looked after throughout. Would happily recommend.

Melville Castle was the perfect wedding venue! The staff went above and beyond with their kindness and attentiveness, ensuring everything ran smoothly on our special day. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, leaving our guests raving about it. The castle’s stunning location and charming atmosphere created a magical backdrop for our celebration. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to say “I do”!
