Wow what a venue, we had a day we shall treasure for the rest of our lives at Glencorse House and Kirk. The Kirk is perfect for a wedding just the right size it can be as intimate as you want, we had our nearest and dearest by our sides the whole ceremony and there was still space for more if required. Nothing was too much trouble for the venue, when we needed access or if there was any questions or clarification needed it was promptly answered by Alasdair. The grounds and the Kirk are simply stunning for a wedding especially for the photographs and I can't recommend the venue highly enough. Can only thank them again for all their help & hard work in helping getting us married in such a special place.

Amazing place! I can’t put into words how beautiful and how special this venue is! The food, the staff, the owners, the decor, the hospitality- all 5 star!!! We highly recommend this wedding venue - it truly is like no other and comes high above the rest! Thank you for making our wedding unforgettable, unique and amazing in every way. A special thanks to our wedding coordinator, Becky - a real asset to Branxholm. She made everything run perfectly and nothing was too much trouble. We hope to be back again in the future for a little visit! Would do it all over again exactly the same! Thank you

What a privilege to have been one of the first couples to get married at Barns Walled Garden! The venue is absolutely stunning. We both knew as soon as we walked in that this was going to be the perfect place for our wedding. We had a lovely outdoor ceremony surrounded by nature and beautiful, tall trees and smaller fruit trees. The walls have such character, the backdrop is stunning for photos! The even larger garden surrounding the walled garden is just an extension of the beauty and, again, a lovely spot for photographs. We even had our group photo on the landscape sculpture within the garden, which has different levels and is the perfect spot for getting all the guests in one shot. The marquee itself is super spacious. We fit over 100 people in there comfortably and we didn't have to move anything to make room for the dance floor. We even had a large lounge area where people could sit and relax. As night fell, the lighting both inside the marquee and out in the garden just made it look so magical. Even the toilets are super nice! With big mirrors and lots of room. We stayed on site at Barns Bothy, making the day even more stress free as I didn't have to worry about getting to the venue, I simply had to walk through the garden and I was there. Family also stayed next door, at Barns Library. Both cottages are beautifully decorated and comfortable, and just so convenient. Now, this is all well and good but none of it would have been possible without Rachel and the team being there every step of the way. They've been running events at Neidpath Castle for years and the experience shows. Rachel was so accessible and always ready with suggestions, ideas and problem solving! We felt we were in safe hands from the start and we are so grateful to Rachel for making the day a success. She was there on the day making sure it all went off without a hitch! We had the perfect day and we are so grateful to everyone involved. We feel so lucky to have found this venue! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ would 100% recommend!

As keen road cyclists we headed to the Scottish Borders with our tandem to get married as well as ride some of the route which he battled through when we got to together. It seemed fitting and finding the tranquil setting of Roulotte Retreat became another beautiful piece of our story. The website does not do Roulotte Retreat justice! Avril and Alan have created something truly unique with so much heart and soul.... We were married outside in their gorgeous wildflower meadow following our lovely vegan breakfast hamper in our Roulotte. We enjoyed a simple stress-free morning and it was more than we could have ever asked for. We took Avril up on her recommendations for a local meal in the evening and photographer to capture our day. Both were great and having this support took all the fuss we wanted to avoid, out of the day. We thought we may miss our family and friends but Avril and Alan more than made up for that by making us feel supported with their kindness and enthusiasm on our special day. To describe our elopement and what Avril and Alan have created at Roulotte Retreat as 'magical' sounds a little over romanticised, but it truly was, and it will be a day we will never forget! We feel blessed to have shared our special day with Avril and Alan and our wonderful registrar, Jane who came recommended by them. Jane was a lovely calming energy who made the ceremony stunning, lifted our excitement and alleviated our nerves! Thank you all again

I am so pleased we chose Whitekirk Hill to get married this year. From the first visit I could see myself being married here. The day didn’t disappoint. With access to the different events space, outside, playbarn and lodges it made for a perfect venue for us. It was a great weekend. The events space is good to go as is but is also a blank enough canvas for you to add any little touches you wish. The flexibility was very much a plus point for us. Erin, Arlene and the team were great on the lead up and on the day and nothing was too much bother for them. We had the most amazing day!
