We got married here ion 22nd Feb 2025. Being in Berkshire and planning a wedding in Edinburgh is not easy but the staff made it so . Nothing was too much trouble. From initial planning to on the day and after we have nothing but good things to say. Planners are great and we did n a lot online and by email but it was all flawless on the day.Blaise, Oz and the team on the day were brilliant along with serving staff , bar staff all were great and the food was also of top notch quality . We have had so many great comments form people who attended we cannot rate it highly enough. We brought in soft play in the turret room and had red bus trips but fitting it all in with the planetarium and the attraction itself meant a fun filled fabulous day for all.

We had our post wedding reception here and the staff were all very polite, warm and flexible dealing with all guest requirements and the reception team were equally friendly also. I'd like to thank the Managment and all staff who were there a thank you for making our day exactly as we had planned and more. Very spacious comfortable room and food was very good.

This is such a beautiful venue, what a day we all had, I highly recommend this enchanting castle.

We had the pleasure of using this venue for my daughters Bridal Shower. This was a small event, held in the downstairs bar area, with High Tea and games we had brought along. All staff at the Mansion House were extremely professional, friendly and accommodating, both in the run up to the event and during it. For example my elderly mother arrived very tired and thirsty after a busy morning, and they brought her some tea and offered to make her some toast too, even though this was not 'part of the package'. The house itself is a lovely old historic building with beautiful grounds and views, and we had a chance to see some of the larger rooms as well, which were wonderful. Everything was well planned and timed, and we were well looked after throughout. Would happily recommend.

The staff at Broxmouth were all incredible in their service and welcoming attitude, but we would have liked more help from our coordinator through the planning and on the day however, and felt we were left to our own devices largely on the day so more help would have been appreciated to coordinate things and help photographers and suppliers but without intruding on our arrangements for the ceremony, as unfortunately a part of our ceremony was altered slightly as the coordinator told our groomsmen to be seated when we had pre-arranged with them to stand for our pictures. But overall the whole day was outstanding and good value for money although on the expensive side, but it is a luxury venue. The food especially was 10+/10 and the staff were all hugely accommodating on the day and days leading up to the wedding. The cottages and venue are all finished to an amazing standard also. Some feedback would be wifi please! There's very little signal on the courtyard/ cottages and lodge on the loch which makes coordinating things with suppliers and guests very difficult on the day and days before/after if you're staying for longer with no wifi at all. Also a couple more high chairs in the dressing room would be perfect. There was only one which our makeup artist had to use, leaving only small chairs for our hair stylist who unfortunately had to bend down all morning to do our hair. Also if the pier could be cleaned prior to a wedding occurring this would be great as it's a really unique and desired location for photos but it was covered in bird poo when we arrived for photos so we could not get the photographs we'd really hoped for. And although described as accessible accommodation, there is really no disabled friendly rooms with wheelchair access to the bathrooms/ beds, or lower sinks, handlebars etc so maybe at least one disabled room on the courtyard would be more inclusive. This as well as a more permanent walkway over the cobbles would benefit wheelchair users. Lastly an itinerary of all that is supplied for each wedding at the time of booking would be helpful to avoid lots of questions when planning as well as accounting for any losses after the event. Extra touches like this would just make what is already a luxury and exclusive wedding venue just that extra bit better. We had the best weekend of our lives and we would recommend the venue, and hope Broxmouth will take the above feedback into consideration for future weddings.

As a couple, fun and inclusivity are important to us. We felt this really matched with the values of the team at Leith Arches who were so flexible and willing to discuss ideas for doing things a bit differently when organising our day. On the day, we were able to have our friend DJ during the day, have a VW campervan in the venue as a chill out area, have a drinks station with beer buckets and wines available, put on a big BBQ feast for our guests then end the night with a drag show and musical entertainment. So many guests have said it was one of the most fun weddings they have been to and for us, this was down to the team's open-minded and can-do attitude to making our day as special as possible. The city centre location also makes it accessible for people travelling and many people used trains and trams to travel back and forward. If you are a creative couple who want to feel your day as authentic to who you are, this is the venue for you to have your wedding.
