They Catred from the most amazing day. A wonderful Venue with alll the ammenities but most important was the outstanding quality of service given. We had a wedding with no problems or drama, just the most amazing day thanks to the wedding team at the Dalmahoy, they helped plan all events and details to a personal yet professional level. Value wise the wedding package was great however the rooms at the hotel were pricey if booked directly. That being said the hotel rooms and wedding suite were spotless. Catering here was outstanding and the function rooms for the wedding were perfect for our special day. The dalmahoy simply put is the best place to get Married in Edinburgh.

Wow where do I even start?! We had our big day at Norton House on 5th July 2025. Everything was absolutely perfect. From the organisation, to the staff, the food, and the operations over the weekend it was everything we ever dreamed of and more. Our Operations Manager on the day, Jillian, was fantastic and everything went exactly as planned, exactly as we wanted it. The guests raved about the staff, venue and food and our day was honestly perfect. The venue was able to be flexible with what we wanted, we even made up our own meal for the wedding breakfast which wasn’t a problem. Our Coordinator, Laura, was friendly, helpful, professional and nothing was ever too much for her. It’s the small things that make such a difference, from being given a highland cow to keep, to reserving a large area at breakfast for all our guests that stayed over on the Sunday, honestly it was incredible and we feel so lucky to have been able to have our big day at Norton House. If you are considering booking this venue for your wedding, do it!! Because I promise you won’t regret it.

From the moment we first visited The Roseate Edinburgh, we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. The charm and elegance of the townhouse, the beautifully kept garden, and the intimate, luxurious feel of the spaces made it stand out from anywhere else we had seen. The team went above and beyond from start to finish. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They were incredibly responsive, kind, and professional – always making us feel at ease throughout the planning process and especially on the big day. We held our ceremony in the stunning Club Privé, followed by a drinks reception in the Conservatory and the garden. The food was absolutely delicious – our guests are still talking about the afternoon tea and the beautiful presentation. Everything ran seamlessly thanks to the attentive and friendly staff who made sure everyone felt welcomed and looked after. What made the day truly special was how personal and warm the entire experience felt. It didn’t feel like a generic wedding venue – it felt like our space for the day. The ambiance, the team, and the little thoughtful touches created memories we will cherish forever. I couldn’t recommend The Roseate Edinburgh more highly for anyone looking for an elegant, intimate, and truly magical place to celebrate their wedding.

Melville Castle was the perfect wedding venue! The staff went above and beyond with their kindness and attentiveness, ensuring everything ran smoothly on our special day. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, leaving our guests raving about it. The castle’s stunning location and charming atmosphere created a magical backdrop for our celebration. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to say “I do”!

We got married here last weekend, from the initial enquiry right through to the day - the team at the sky bar were AMAZING. Kimberley was a superstar, assisted us with every detail and her communication was excellent. She was there on hand for every email and phone call, every meeting and was just the most kind and caring person. Ewan was our master of ceremonies, he was absolutely brilliant and had the day working like clockwork. He created such a lovely atmosphere for our guests and kept us calm throughout the day. We are so grateful to have both Kimberley and Ewan as such big parts of our day, they made the whole wedding planning process so enjoyable and supported us so well. The food was also incredible, every single guest commented on how good it was!! Thanks again team, we love and appreciate you so much!

We had our wedding reception at the Virgin Hotel Edinburgh, and it was truly beyond anything we could have hoped for. We booked the venue sight unseen from abroad, trusting the photos and our gut — and we can confidently say, the photos didn’t do it justice. The space is absolutely stunning, full of charm, character, and the perfect ambiance for an unforgettable evening. The food was exceptional, and our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. The entire staff was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive — they made sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt completely cared for the entire night. The bartenders were also so creative in their mixing of drinks. A special thank you to Jo, our event manager, who was a dream to work with. She looked after every detail, anticipated our needs, and helped bring the entire celebration together with calm and care. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Virgin Hotels Edinburgh was the perfect setting for our celebration, and we’ll cherish those memories forever.

Thank you to the team at the Bruntsfield. My husband and I got married there in December and we are incredibly grateful to the wonderful team of people that work there. From the sales manager to the F&B team, they made the impossible become possible and our special day was unforgettable. Special mention to Ferris and Charlotte who really took care of us and helped make our dreams come true!!! We could never thank you enough!

Jo and I had a small ceremony and dinner in the Abbey Room. Great river views. Katie managed proceedings brilliantly and all staff were friendly and approachable. Friends & family loved the country feel/location. Thank you Dryburgh!
