We had the most wonderful wedding day at RCPE in November 2025. Our guests were absolutely blown away by the venue, so many people commented on how unique and beautiful it was, and several said it was a day they’ll always remember. The entire events team was incredibly accommodating and helpful from start to finish. Everything felt effortless thanks to their support, and we’re so grateful for how smoothly the whole day ran. Thank you to Hannah and the RCPE Events Team for giving us such a fantastic experience. We couldn’t have wished for a better venue for our wedding!

Our wedding planning experience was nothing short of 5 stars from the start. We had the pleasure of planning our wedding with Isabella and Lauren who were extremely responsive, provided lots of information in the initial pre-booking stages, showed us around the venue and went through every detail of the day. We never felt any pressure to book and felt all our questions were answered in plenty of detail. The events team were very organised and highly professional over email and in person. They provided us with detailed timelines and task lists in plenty of time, but also understood that some degree of flexibility was going to be required due to our very busy lifestyles. Nothing was ever any trouble. Our day went about as smoothly as it could have done and our friends and family were blown away by how well everything was run. The morning of the wedding was very relaxing with plenty of space for both of us to get ready with our bridesmaids and groomsmen. All staff were very calm and welcoming, always with a smile. It was very clear that everyone took pride in what they do. Agnes who took over from Lauren to run the wedding breakfast and evening reception was fantastic at ensuring that things ran to schedule paying a lot of attention to every detail. Probably very few local venues have the benefit of being private (if you wish), yet having plenty of open space and variety of places for guests to enjoy the day - the chapel, the rose gardens, indoor lounges, wedding breakfast pavilion and another separate space for the evening party and dancing. This was something important to us as we did not want to be confined to just one room for the majority of the day. Having 30 bedrooms available on site for friends and family was also a massive bonus as it meant that we got to see our loved ones and share our memories of the night before with them over breakfast the next day. The surroundings are also just beautiful with plenty of lovely backdrops for photo opportunities. We highly recommend having your wedding at Carberry Tower! We originally planned our wedding for April 2026 but due to a change in circumstances, had to push the date to December 2026. Dunglass were absolutely wonderful about changing the date and gave us lots of options. Then as we neared the end of 2025, we actually realised we didn’t want to wait another year and so contacted Dunglass to see if we could change the arrangements to a secret elopement in December 2025. This gave them about 5 weeks notice. Again, they couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating in changing the booking. Some of our booked suppliers were not as accommodating so Dunglass really stood out for how great they were! Elopements don’t happen often at Dunglass and we did feel with a few small extra touches on the day, it could have been even more magical but overall we had the perfect day we’d hoped for and Marie in particular was amazing at making us feel welcome and special. We can’t thank the Dunglass team enough 🩷

Absolutely stunning venue in the best location, so good for the price and the team made sure that the day flowed so smoothly!

We worked with Dylan to plan our dream wedding, and the whole experience from start to end couldn't have been better! The level of service and attention to detail was unmatched. Dylan got our vibe straight away, and was a beacon of support and positivity throughout the whole process. The operations team delivered impeccable service on the day itself and interacted with our guests like part of the party. We heard nothing but rave reviews the whole night! They combined hospitality and realness to create the perfect blend of high customer service and a really awesome time. Delicious food! Very catering towards dietaries and a huge variety to choose from. We had to postpone our wedding due to illness and it was handled impeccably. I honestly cannot rate the team at Unusual Venues Edinburgh highly enough to express my gratitude. Would make them the first choice for people who want a wedding venue that's out of the ordinary, and extraordinary!

The day was perfect, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you so much to you and all of the team there.

The Ghillie Dhu hosted our wedding and it was amazing. The service was perfect and the day ran so smoothly. Tyla and Maddy (our wedding coordinators) made sure that we were happy and everything was taken care of. The food was excellent and all of our guests enjoyed the day.
