Field Place Manor House & Barns is a beautiful and welcoming West Sussex wedding venue, offering characterful barns, stunning gardens and a choice of indoor and outdoor ceremonies. With one wedding per day, our award winning team are with you every step of the way. We work in partnership with Hardings Catering to create delicious, flexible menus, while our in-house professional celebrant offers the freedom to make your ceremony completely personal to you.
At Field Place, we believe weddings are all about choice. No two couples are the same, so why should two weddings be?
Our flexible options allow you to choose the celebration that feels right for you. Our All-In Wedding Package brings together our venue, catering and a carefully selected team of trusted local wedding suppliers, making planning wonderfully simple. Our £11K Exclusive Wedding Package offers incredible value with the key elements of your day thoughtfully included, while our Twilight Package is perfect for couples looking for a relaxed, later celebration with plenty of flexibility. Venue hire is also available if you prefer to build your day your own way.
Food and drink are looked after by our exclusive catering partners, Hardings Catering, who have worked alongside us since 2018. Their experienced team offer flexible menu choices and work with you to create food that suits your celebration.
You’ll also have something a little special available to you – your own national award-winning, in-house professional celebrant, Amanda, giving you the option of a completely personal ceremony filled with your story, your people and your personality.
Behind it all is our award-winning wedding team. We may be small – just Amanda, Emma and Sophie – but that means you really get to know the people looking after your wedding. From your first visit and planning meetings to the excitement of the day itself, we’ll be there to guide, reassure and help bring everything together.
We work closely with brilliant local suppliers we know and trust, giving you plenty of options while keeping planning personal and straightforward.

Wow! Our day was magical! ❤️
We had the most incredible day. Field place were just amazing. The maintenance team set wheelchair ramps up so our little boy could get around the whole building and outside in his electric wheelchair. We booked our wedding with 4 months to go which meant the pressure was on to get everything organised but Amanda and Emma were so chilled about it all and couldn’t do enough, in the lead up to and including the big day.
Amanda wrote up our love story so perfectly it made the ceremony all that extra special. We wanted to do the hand fasting including our children but were worried about moving our little boy to come up to the front with us because he is non verbal he would become confused and asked to move on so Amanda said let’s include the whole wedding party and it looked amazing! Everyone loved it they said it’s one of the most beautiful ceremonies they’ve ever been too.
The bridal party also had their own songs to come down the aisle too. Nothing was too much trouble for Amanda and the team ❤️
We had an amazing package that they were offering which included an informal sit down meal. The food was delicious provided by hardings caterers who were so accommodating with some options that needed tweaking to suit those with dietary preferences

Top quality wedding with Amanda
Honestly where to start… both Emma and Amanda have been behind spot on with communication. From the initial viewings and general conversation of what we wanted to the build up of the wedding day itself. Emma replies so quick to all questions and really wants to help you. Amanda is the most perfect celebrant we could ever have asked for. Every single person who attended our ceremony were in awe of how amazing she brought it all together. She went above and beyond from the second the girls got ready to the second she passed us over to the catering team for our meals. Honestly such a beautiful ceremony and that came from the team at Field Place. Such a hands on team and their attention to details is impeccable. I cannot recommend Field Place enough. Any issues get dealt with instantly and they do so with such professionalism. They want your day to be perfect and will do anything to do this. You made our day the best day of our lives and we’d re-do it over and and over if we had the same team behind us. 10000% recommendation.

Dream Venue
We recently got married at Field Place, and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. From start to finish, the entire team was incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our day as special as possible. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment completely stress free.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful gardens, and versatile spaces that looked incredible throughout the day.

Gorgeous venue and helpful staff
Field Place is a wonderful place to get married, we first went for a tour in October and decided that day it was where we wanted to spend our special day. The gardens are beautiful throughout the year and the barns are the perfect setting. All of the staff have been wonderful, answer every question and help in any way they can. We will definitely be coming back to renew our vows in the future

The venue and the staff and everything was amazing everyone was super helpful, made sure we felt comfortable and looked into every detail to make sure the day went well. We were looked after amazingly and made to feel super comfortable everything was how it was ment to be and we cant thank them enough

Field place Barns and Gardens
We recently had our wedding at Field place and it was incredible. From the meetings, look arounds, food tasting, recommendations of other services as well as the day itself was just incredible. The events team were all so supportive and helped out in the morning as well as the day before. The gardens were stunning and the barns were amazing too. We had access to the magic mirror photos which went down a treat with our guests and ended up with over 200 pictures. The barns are cleaned throughly as well as the gardens kept beautiful. If I had to do our whole day again I wouldn’t change the venue as it was just perfect

Exceptional
Field Place were absolutely exceptional. Their attention to detail was second to none, and the way they quietly initiated a seamless Plan B when the weather turned was incredible. I didn’t have to step in or make a single decision, they handled everything with such calm confidence that I was able to stay fully present and enjoy every moment.
The day ran flawlessly thanks to their organisation, communication and genuine care. We couldn’t have asked for a better team in Emma and Amanda.

Our amazing wedding day
We recently had our wedding at Field Place Manor House & Barns, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The wedding package offered excellent value for money, with everything beautifully organised and delivered to a very high standard.

Amazing venue and staff!
We had our wedding here in March and what can I say, it was everything we wanted it to be. I would highly recommend a package as the suppliers used at Field Place are all wonderful.
Emma, Amanda & Sophie were so helpful prior to the wedding and on our Wedding day making sure everything went smoothly for us and our guests all commented on how lovely the grounds and barns were.

Dream venue 🥰
We had our wedding at field place and we couldn't compliment it enough everything was absolutely out of this world from the staff to the gardens which looked and smelt sensational, to the venue itself Amanda and Emma are friends for life now and we are so glad we came across them! They made our day even more special and brought so much fun and laughter to the day! 🥰

Our wonderful wedding at Field place.
Our wedding was spectacular, every detail was perfect,we couldn't be happier with the outcome and the memories we will cherish forever.The staff are so professional and attentive and definitely good at problem solving especially for us as our three tier cake started to slide ,Adam definitely saved sorting it out.The food was out of this world, the ambience was beautifully executed, the money we spent was well worth the amazing memories made with our Loved ones.
We would highly recommend this astounding venue and dedicated staff.

Wonderful wedding venue
We got married in Field place in July 2025. Emma and Amanda were excellent, they responded very quickly to all our enquires and were incredibly helpful throughout. The venue was lovely and the grounds were beautiful. We used a package for our wedding and all the vendors were excellent and Emma and Amanda made sure we were in touch with all our vendors in plenty of time. Thank you everyone for making our wedding so wonderful!

Everything we had hoped!
As soon as we visited Field Place we knew it was the one for us, the barns, the decor, the team. We knew that it was somewhere we could see ourselves getting married. The support we had in the lead up was second to none and no question was ever too silly for Amanda and Emma. The day went so smoothly and everyone that came said how beautiful the venue was and how seamlessly the day came together. I could not recommend Field Place enough, the only downside was when the wedding was over!!

Perfect wedding held at field place
With field place we got a package deal but had our own photographer as we knew them. The price reflected this. I was seen to by Emma who in the first instance showed us round and answered my pages full of questions. We were then contacted by other suppliers within our package for seperate meetings about our wants and needs. Hardings were the food caterers and without a doubt the best around. I had hoped they start a delivery service. Adam listened and he delivered!! We had food tasting and even last minute alterations were not a problem for Adam. Back to Emma, she was able to help me with my table plan and I was able to alter the numbers on the top table to include my children. The morning of the wedding I was worried about timing due to myself and my crew getting ready but when I went into the room to decorate (I brought my own/DIY) the team had not only gone and laid out for me but even used their initiatives on what gifts belonged to who. They had laid the tables better than my own trial run. The time keeping was kept to thanks to the team as let’s face it a few champagnes later and no one knows what the time is. But it’s all down to the communication I was given by Emma and the team that they knew exactly what I wanted and got to no me as a person. Words can’t describe how PERFECT our day was. Forever grateful ☺️
