The Pavillion Field Place
Venue Service

By Nicola White, on 29 Aug 2016Date of Wedding - 20 Aug 2016

We got married here on 20/08/2016 we had an early ceremony at 11am in the Cermony room, we used Final Touch which are based in field place for the decoration of the Ceremony room and the Pavillion and they were amazing, everybody said how stunning the rooms looked! Would highly recommend these guys for your wedding ... Everything was well organised, The chef came out and introduced herself we had a 2 course meal, and all the guests said it was delicious, we had ordered a drinks package for adult guests which included a pimms on arrival, wine on the table followed by a glass of bubbly on the table, we ordered a child's drink package too, they got the same as the adults but obviously non alcoholic, the staff were very hard working and polite, our guests have said that our wedding was the best they had ever been too, we chose to pay for the bar extension which was £175, so we had the bar until midnight, as we felt 11pm to be too early, there was another wedding in the Barn at 2pm but it made no difference to ours, in fact it was quite nice seeing the bride and groom have there pictures taken, no critics me from us only praise, special thanks to Mark and Lisa and Final Touch for making our day perfect

Venue Service

By Kirsten Flower, on 21 Aug 2016Date of Wedding - 20 Aug 2016

The experience the bride had organising her wedding was extremely stressful and very poor. The venue for the wedding was gorgeous, I cannot fault that. The organisers missed calls, meetings and didn't respond to contact. When they bothered to attend scheduled meetings, information passed to one organiser never made it to the other. There were many many hidden costs and clauses. The drinks packages have hidden clauses. It means a pimms upon arrival, no soft drinks. A hidden cost is the barn hall where the day meal/evening party is held. My sister could have the hall until 11pm. Weeks before the wedding they told her that meant everyone must be out by 11. If she wanted to extend the duration in the hall it would have cost another £200. The starter of trout happened to in fact be salmon. When it came to the evening time and the tables were packed away, they disposed of wine bottles the bride and groom had bought for each table and threw away the drinks upon the tables to clean them up.
