We are so glad to have chosen Cissbury as our wedding venue. Not only is it absolutely beautiful but the team (and especially Michelle our venue coordinator) went above and beyond to make sure the day ran smoothly and we had the most perfect day. They set everything up for us, moved our decorations from ceremony to reception and so much more. There were so many small touches (like having a glass of fizz ready for us after the ceremony) that made it really special. We couldnt recommend them highly enough.

Wow, where to even start. This venue is absolutely stunning, you don’t need to add anything to it because it is amazing as it is! Michelle and her team were amazing from start to finish, they were amazing at communicating and so amazing on the day. I wish I could repeat this every year - our guests loved the venue and the stunning views.

We got married at Cissbury Barns on the 6th August 2026, and it was the perfect day. We are local to the barns, and it was the first venue we looked at, and nothing else really stood a chance once we’d seen Cissbury barns! It is a beautiful venue, and Michelle filled us with confidence from the moment we met her, that the day would run smoothly and she would make sure we were looked after, and she didn’t let us down.

Brilliant communication leading up to the day, with hints, tips, and advice. And recommendations for local suppliers that we really appreciated.

We were married in The Glade, which looked beautiful. We were lucky with the weather of course, but had no doubts it would have been just as beautiful in the barn.

On the day, Charlie and her team were exceptional and made sure everything ran smoothly and gave just the right amount of support. Professional, supportive, and reassuring. In the evening, Elisa (sp?) took over, and was just as brilliant at looking after us.

We and family stayed at The Chapel and The Lodge respectively, and both were lovely.

Both Dom and I want to say a special thanks to Geoffrey for welcoming us at cissbury house, where we met the registrars, he has such a warm manner and really made us felt at ease. We particularly loved that he pitches in with the team on clearing the barns and getting ready for the evening party!

We held our wedding reception at Cissbury Barns and the venue, the staff, and the setting was absolutely perfect. We could not fault anything.

Michelle and her team have been incredibly helpful from the outset. They have a lot of expertise which was very reassuring to lean on, and we never felt like a number and just another wedding booking. They were always friendly and personable, and helped us with all of our many questions. On the day, everything ran completely smoothly.

The entire venue is absolutely stunning. There are lots of places for guests to sit and relax. The walled garden, living gate and surrounding fields make a gorgeous backdrop for photos.

We stayed at the newly renovated Lodge for 2 nights, and we had family stay in the Chapel. Both accommodations are very conveniently located to the barns and beautifully decorated inside. A particularly special moment for us was walking back to the Lodge through the estate at the end of our wedding day.

We also noticed that many suppliers spoke very highly of Cissbury Barns, saying that they are always taken care of and that the team are well organised. I think that speaks a lot to how effective and kind the team are.

We are incredibly thankful to Michelle, Charlie, Zoe and everyone involved for making our wedding day absolutely perfect. We would thoroughly and completely recommend Cissbury Barns for any event.

We got married at Cissbury Barns on 11th July, and we honestly couldn't have asked for a better venue. From the moment our guests arrived, everyone was complimenting how beautiful the barns and surrounding grounds were. It really is a stunning place to get married.

The biggest thank you has to go to Christina and her team. Christina looked after us from start to finish throughout the entire planning process, and nothing was ever too much trouble. No question was too small, no request was ever an issue, and she always made us feel completely at ease. Having someone so organised, calm and genuinely caring made such a difference in the lead-up to the wedding and on the day itself.

The whole team were sensational, and everything ran so smoothly that we were able to relax and enjoy every minute. We'd also like to thank the owners, who were always incredibly helpful and a pleasure to deal with throughout.

We searched high and low for a venue and after our first visit to Cissbury Barns we knew we had found the one. Not only is the location absolutely stunning, but the venue is perfect and the staff are all amazing. No question was too small or silly to be answered (and there were many emails back and forth containing both!) and they were fully on board to help us create the perfect wedding day. Both the barns and the gardens created a lovely space for our guests to spread out and enjoy the day and we felt very looked after throughout the day. The addition of the onsite accommodation was amazing and getting ready in the North Wing apartment made the whole day run smoothly. So many of our guests commented on what a lovely venue it is. We had an amazing wedding day and that is in part down to the incredible venue and lovely team at Cissbury Barns. We cannot recommend them enough!

The barns have lots of different spaces for guests to use throughout the day which created interest and a range of different photo ops! On a hot day there was plenty of shade and the bar was well stocked.

The venue itself is gorgeous and we loved the idea of our day all in one place. We loved the flint walls in particular and it really felt Sussex-y which was a real selling point. The venue is set out really nicely with 2 Barns as well as multiple places to relax with outside and inside areas. We were impressed with the Cissbury Team on the lead up and on the wedding day itself. As a customer, we also loved the Open Sundays in which we could go to speak with the team in person if we had any queries without having to make any formal meetings. Charlie (our coordinator on the day) was lovely, there when we needed her and made sure the day flowed without feeling like she was rushing us. We received so many compliments from our guests on the venue as well as the surroundings. Overall we just loved our wedding day at Cissbury Barns.

My husband and I got married at Cissbury in April. From start to finish the team were amazing, we attended a number of open days which they hold monthly on Sundays. These gave us a great opportunity to get to know the venue, meet with vendors and picture how our day would look.

Michelle, Charlie and the team were on constant hand to help us through the process including helping with an amazing event schedule that filled us with confidence that the venue would run smoothly.

On the day itself the team were incredible, we never had to ask for anything throughout the day and it ran perfectly. My husband and I got married at Cissbury Barns a couple of weeks ago, and all I can say is WOW.

As quite an anxious bride, I found the lead-up stressful with all the organising and wanting everything to be perfect for our guests. However, Michelle and the team were incredible, always contactable and so quick to respond, which made such a difference.

On the day itself, everything was absolutely amazing. The team were spectacular, often taking care of things before I’d even thought to mention them. They truly put us first and went above and beyond to make the day special, and they absolutely succeeded.

The venue itself is stunning, and we’ve had so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful it was.

Michelle and her team at Cissbury Barns were brilliant when facilitating my wedding day. Communication was clear and I had trust that they would deliver on the day- which they did in abundance!

The venue was gorgeous and all our guests said as such. The buildings are so gorgeous, not many decorations were required. Having all our personal effects boxed and put to one side for collection made the 'check out' process from the venue seamless and easy

My Husband, Jon and I got married at the stunning Cissbury Barns in August 2025, and getting married at this venue along with the help from the amazing staff was the best decision we made. Even our friends who got married in 2023, joked about wanting to get married again so they could have Cissbury as their venue, as everything was just beyond perfect.

The venue is simply breathtaking with its natural beauty and history. Not being too large meant we could spend time with all our guests and being so private meant we had the most intimate day celebrating with just those around us that we love the most.

Christina ran our day and brought our vision to life even more than I thought was possible. She clearly understood our ask and provided so many great suggestions given her vast experience of weddings as Cissbury, from what worked well and what to avoid, and it meant the world when she said 'It's truly was one of the nicest weddings I’ve had the pleasure to work'.

Every single member of staff at Cissbury is so attentive, from the days leading up to the wedding helping with planning and ideas, including support us when our original caterer cancelled on us, nothing was ever too much of a problem, being so attentive and supporting throughout.

We wish we could live the day over and over again. Our wedding was beyond special, it was pure magic and will be a core memory in our hearts for the rest of our lives. Thank you for making our day beyond perfect in every single way x

We got married at Cissbury at the end of October and were completely blessed by beautiful weather and a gorgeous location. Michelle was a fantastic event coordinator throughout the whole process and I fully trusted her and her team. Charlie made sure all our last minute arrangements were sorted and the evening event manager (Lynn?) was brilliant! On the day they were totally on-it but completely in the background.
