Hi, I’m Mark, but everyone calls me Happy Bob! I'm the world's only mohawk photographer (probably!)
I’m a multi award-winning, two decade-plus experienced, passionate photographer and videographer, based in Peterborough, UK – although I do travel all over the UK and to destinations if needed – who will go to the ends of the earth to ensure your precious moments are documented, ensuring you’ll be able to replay your story over and over.
My candid style and natural story-telling approach allows your day to unravel in real time, helping to keep you calm, relaxed and able to enjoy your big day without experiencing any stress.
As I like to say, every wedding is full of beautiful, natural, fleeting moments, so booking a documentary-style photographer, like myslef, allows me to capture every second. of the day, taking artistic candid images, which will allow you to relive your ‘Big Day’, again and again and again.
After all, what price do you put on memories? Dresses get put away, cakes get eaten and confetti gets swept up, but when you have fantastic pictures these lovely memories are yours to keep forever

Services Offered
Having been a professional photographer for over 20-years. I like to capture those little ‘never-to-be-repeated‘ moments in time that allow you to keep forever. I do this by using natural light, so I become much less obtrusive, as I don’t direct or dictate. This allows me to portray the day as it naturally unfolds.
Other than the odd, pre-planned traditional group photo, I spend the majority of the day photographing real and meaningful moments between family and friends.
Weddings are full of fleeting moments and so my style wholly allows me to remain in the ‘heart of the action’ without impacting on the day’s atmosphere.

What does the wedding package include?
HB Total Media offers six packages - three standard (https://hbtotalmedia.com/packages/) and three digital, ( https://hbtotalmedia.com/digital-photography-wedding-packages/) prices from £599
How far in advance should I contact you?
Four weeks minimum, Ideally the more lead time you can give, the better as I/we have more time to plan the day's events etc
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Can you travel?
Yes, the whole of the UK and destination weddings
What is the charge for travelling?
Fuel is included in the price of the wedding package, although destination weddings incur travel charges

As well as the usual formal’ shots, ' I spend most of my time getting candid shots as people are much more natural when they don't realise they are being photographed!
It also avoids awkward posing

Sony a7Rv and Sony a9 bodies and a selection of f2.8 and f1.8 lenses
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, i supply pictures on an online gallery for you and your guests to see and download

I am open to negation on the day or day's prior. I have a very easy going personality. For me it is all about the bride and groom, their family & friends getting the best day and pictures possible

I like to work 'with' the couple getting married, it is their special day, so I do what is needed. I am very easy going, approachable and personable

Great vibes, lovely results
Mark (photographer) and Liam (videographer who Mark works closely with from a separate company) brought exactly the kind of energy you want on your wedding day: upbeat, humorous, and effortlessly good at drawing out natural smiles and giggles. They made us feel at ease, and we’ve ended up with some truly joyful captures that reflect the spirit of the day. Communication in the lead-up was smooth, and we really appreciated how easy they were to work with. The turnaround time was also impressive, we received our photos in under a week, which was such a lovely surprise.
If I could offer one bit of constructive feedback, it would be around attention to detail, particularly on the photography side. A little more guidance on guest positioning and photo sequencing, such as who needed to be photographed next or small fixes like pointing out when the groom’s buttonhole flower or the bride’s dress needed adjusting, would have made a great experience even better. With so many guests and emotions running high, we found ourselves trying to keep track of who we’d taken photos with, which became a bit overwhelming. We had hoped Mark would take the lead on this and feel it could have added more ease, structure, and saved time on the day.
That said, Mark’s presence and personality were a real asset, and Liam’s calm, friendly approach helped capture the day beautifully on film. We’re grateful for the memories they helped preserve. We’d recommend them to couples looking for a fun, relaxed team who bring great energy to the day. Just be sure to agree on photo coordination ahead of time to get the most out of the experience.

10/10 would recommend!
Mark was amazing from start to finish. He made us all feel so relaxed on the day and kept us laughing throughout. He made sure we got all of the photos we wanted on the day and we are so pleased with all of the photos that we got!
We received all the photos in just two days after the wedding via a link and a personalised USB with all the photos once we returned from our honeymoon.
We 1000% recommend HB Total Media (Mark/Happy Bob), he will make your big day even more special.

Amazing photographer
HB total Media are amazing Mark aka Happy Bob was brilliant professional and funny, made the day and experience wonderful. We all felt comfortable and at ease. Absolutely amazing photographer
Mark - Happy Bob, is the most incredible photographer and a thoroughly lovely man. From first contacting him he was really responsive and answered all of our questions. He met with us prior to the wedding to discuss our preferences and absolutely nailed the brief! The photos capture the story, emotion and atmosphere of the day. They are absolutely beautiful and we could not be happier with them. Mark has a great sense of humour and ensured a laughed lots and relaxed in our photographs, which definitely shows through in the images he captured. Mark was fantastic from the first phone call up to the day. He made us laugh and put us at ease throughout the day. We felt natural in front of the camera which is not normal for us. He had us belly laughing at every moment. Mark was a complete ninja and got some fantastic, in the moment candid shots of us and our loved ones. Guests complimented his work and what a great guy he is! Fantastic value for money and the photos came back incredibly quick. They were everything we could wish for and more. I cannot recommend or compliment Marks work enough! Thank you for everything!! 🤍

Amazing Photographer
Mark was brilliant from the very first time we spoke with him all the way to getting our wedding photos. Mark put us at ease and made everyone feel comfortable. We had lots of people at the wedding comment how great Mark was and was making everyone laugh which made for some great photos. Mark got all the photos we wanted and took lots of photos throughout the day that you didn’t even notice he was taking. We’ve received our wedding photos and so pleased with how they’ve turned out! We would definitely recommend Mark!

Perfect professionals for our big day!
We’re so glad we had HB to capture our wedding. From the start, they were relaxed, friendly, and really helped everyone feel at ease — which made such a difference on the day. They captured everything beautifully, with a mix of candid and styled shots that we absolutely love. Beyond the amazing photos, they totally took charge of the photography and videography side of things, which meant we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Genuinely lovely guys and real pros — would 100% recommend.

I met Mark when he took our amazing engagement photos 5 years ago and decided then and there I would definitely be using him for our wedding!
He was then kind enough to come and get some snaps of my baby boy the following year. We stayed in touch and the day I booked my wedding I messaged Mark to ask if he was available that day.
He's communication from then on was spot on, responded to emails and messages instantly, came out to see us to discuss details and what we wanted/didn't want and as always lives up to his nickname 'happy bob' ☺️
He arrived promptly on the day, made everyone feel totally comfortable, introduced himself and he loves a laugh and a joke which made the atmosphere perfect, the children all took to him instantly. Nothing was too much trouble. He was discreet when he needed to be, we had fun with some pictures and also got the romantic ones, we were on a tight time limit and Mark captured our day better than I ever expected.
So many of my guests said to me on the day or messaged me after and expressed how brilliant the photographer was and how much of a great guy he is, that speaks volumes to me!
Then.....and I never expected to be any where near as fast, Mark got all my 778 photos edited and ready for me via a link within 3 days and we were absolutely blown away with the images mark had captured of our special day
